I loved the outdoor shower with hot water. I found it was easy to prepare my meals there and it was nice to have the bathroom so close. Stacie is very friendly and nice. Also it is quite expensive. It felt safe and quiet and the rooster didn’t bother us.

This was a little oasis in the middle of paradise. The outdoor kitchen is beyond adorable and the multiple outdoor areas give you plenty of options for rest and relaxation. I definitely recommend staying here.

Stacey is a fantastic and responsive host! Her property is well placed to offer good views, and very convenient with its central placement on the island. She is clearly dedicated to continually improving both her land and the camping experience, through planting more trees and creating a garden area, as well as adding amenities. (As example, a towel rack showed up in the outside shower on our 2nd day.)
We particularly appreciated the outdoor shower with excellent views of the evening "diamonds on the mountain", the fold-out bed in the sheltered carport area by the kitchen, as well as the opportunity to do laundry for a small fee. Other members of the household were courteous, and we were even offered fresh bread.
My only caveat: if you're sensitive to stimulation and need a good night's sleep, bring earplugs and an eye mask. This space is still in Wailuku, and you will hear car traffic (as well as the moa chicken chorus at 4 AM!) and have light exposure.

Great little Hawaiian cottage on the edge of town with super friendly hosts. Loved being able to kick of our Campervan adventure on Maui here, so close to restaurants and stores for stocking up before we departed.

Our experience at Stacey's place was great. The view on the volcano, the sun rise, the flowers, the chikens and the duck, we loved everything. The outside kitchen and the bathroom were very kleen. Stacey was very kind and welcoming.

Stacey has created such a wonderful oasis in middle of Kahului with all the amenities of being at city centre. It was such a pleasure to drive up to her place for the 5 nights we stayed, with her gorgeous flower gardens, and views of the city, volcano, and ocean. The place is so well-appointed, and everything taken to the next level - a pristine and stylish washroom, a luxurious outdoor shower with a view, and a lovely covered area to relax. If you have a camper van and just want to be taken care of a little more than usual basic campsites, this is the place.
Stacey herself is gracious and friendly, happy to give recommendations or let you do your own thing, very accommodating. We wouldn't hesitate to to stay again with her, and would genuinely look forward to the opportunity.

Great spot to park and sleep in camper. Close to airport, restaurants and beaches. The views and the property are beautiful. You have assess to a private bathroom (clean and stocked) and lovely outdoor shower with great views. You also have your own small refrig, microwave and dining table. The space is a converted carport/driveway. The neighborhood is nice, has beautiful landscaping and it felt very safe, Stacey was friendly and helpful. Only thing..,if you’re not aware of the roosters calling out to each other throughout the wee hours to early morning be warned - I wasn’t aware this was a “thing”, but I found it easy to adjust to. Or you can always bring earplugs! Overall, highly recommend - I would stay there again

This was the perfect set up. Stacey was very welcoming and accommodating. There was plenty of space for our roof nest Jeep, indoor toilet and sink, and a gorgeous outdoor shower with views of Haleakala. Great location with plenty of food nearby.

If you have sweet blood be careful there are mosquitos. The host was nice enough to provide bug spray. Very accommodating host. Showers were nice. Would stay here again

We loved camping here! The landscape is very beautiful, and the host puts so much work into it - it was great getting a history of the place and a tour around the property.
It was great to have a sheltered place to hang out with a mini fridge and appliances. Would highly recommend!

Wonderful hosts! Great conversation, but also gave us plenty of privacy. It was also nice having the animals around; really cool and didn’t bother us at all. Really like the plants, decorating style, and hottest shower I had on the island! View of the city was amazing while also being a nice quiet spot.

We loved our experience here. Gil's place is close to the airport, supermarket, and restaurants. Gil was very responsive to texts, and an awesome host. Everything was clean and maintained, and the outdoor shower was charming. We only stayed one night, but were well-rested before we started on the Road to Hana.

Gil and Stacey are very friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed our two day stay there. We slept in our van but used their carport area to
Relax, enjoy a glass of wine , and cook a meal. There’s a microwave, hot plate, kettle , and a few dishes. The bathroom with toilet and sink were very clean. The outdoor hot shower was nice but I felt it was a little short so I wore my bathing suit.

Gil and Stacy were friendly and personable hosts. We felt comfortable and safe parking in their driveway and using their covered porch area for our home base upon arriving on the island. We loved having chicken and duck neighbors! Would recommend and would stay here again if we return to Maui!

Gil and Stacy were both so sweet and accommodating. It was a great spot for our first night (very close to the airport) but it was even better to be greeted so warmly. They had everything we needed and then some. Gil stayed in touch leading up to our stay and communicated wonderfully. Definitely would stay again!! Thank you both so much!!
