Primitive camping
Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or water at this Hipcamp.
Agritourism. Farmland west of Berthoud, Colorado, usually planted in corn. We enjoy an ever-changing view of the Rocky Mountain front range, with Longs Peak being most prominent. There is a historic barn on the property (not near the camping site) and lots of places to go for a walk.
Beautiful views of Longs Peak and the Rocky Mountains. 7 miles to Carter Lake, 33 miles to Estes Park, 20 miles to Fort Collins, 27 miles to Boulder. Our home is completely off the grid, so there is no extra power or water. Tents are welcome, as well as RVs, pickups, vans, and cars. Rustic.
NO OPEN FIRES

Love this spot to camp. It is our goto location just a short drive from home. So relaxing with gorgeous views. Our pup Dakota gets very excited every time we come here to camp.

This was a great stay. We were just passing through and needed something last minute. The host responded right away and had things all set up in a short amount of time. The solar lighting looked nice and was helpful when arriving after dark. Would have liked to stay longer-great site!

Perfect last minute camping option
We had a lovely stay at Sandra’s campsite. Very grateful for Sandra’s HipCamp site, as none of the local campgrounds allow late arrival same-day camping. The directions to the site location were easy to follow and the extra accommodations (a jug of filtered water, fresh sanitation bucket w/ TP, solar shower for hand washing, etc.) were much appreciated. The location felt private but is close enough to the road where you’re not so isolated. Would recommend!

We loved camping on Sandra's land! It was quiet and calm, and we got to drive to the national park and forest super quickly. Our dogs enjoyed the quiet farm life and we were very happy with our stay!

Nice Mountain Views
Great sire with views of the mountains. Quiet and perfect as our relatives are nearby. It’s always easy, clean and relaxing when we stay here.
