What a beautiful, peaceful spot! We pulled in after dark but it was easy to find and beautiful by the lake. Woke up to horses across and next to us after listening to some serious fish and beaver? slapping around in the pond at night! It was perfect☺️

Great location overall! There’s a pond for fishing, flat area for kids to run around and play sports, and we also got to pet the horses. We really enjoyed our stay there and highly recommend it. There is a half bathroom that you can use.

Great spot for boondocking. Fishing in pond was a blast. Caught big bass. Grandkids had fun with horses. Very relaxing. Owners are great.

Wonderful place close to Montgomery

Wonderful site by the pond with nice flat ground and a picnic table. There’s a nice clean toilet in the nearby stable. The host was great and never bothered us. The following morning he gave us sliced apples to feed the retired horses. At the time of the booking the two contact phone numbers were wrong. The first one belonged to the former owner. However the current owners did a good job of messaging us.

I board horses at this location. Setup camper at this site for a weekend. Had a blast fishing and horse riding with my grandkids. Great fishing. I plan to do it again. Nice campsite for boondocking.

A piece of heaven! Marianne’s campsite and generosity were far beyond any expectations we had. I can’t recommend this place enough. We felt so safe, the beauty and peacefulness of the land was extraordinary and Marianne exuded such warmth and care. It was the softest landing one could want.

Grounded and delightful

Marianne’s place is idyllic. We were greeted and welcomed heartily and had our privacy as well. The site near the pond offered views of the horses in the field as well as the herons on the water. Frogs provided a bedtime serenade. It was easy to let go of any concerns and relax into the beauty.

I loved tent camping here. The wonderful noises from nature and the horses were calming and peaceful. My pup absolutely loved hanging out at this site, as well! The hosts were incredibly nice, and Jim met us at the site and was wonderful to talk with.

Peace, ponies and peonies is a perfect place to relax after visiting the emotional museums and sites of the Civil Rights trail. Marianne Dave and Jim are gracious hosts. We enjoyed visiting with them on their occasional checkins. The Great Egret in the pond was a delight to watch.

Camp with Marianne!

I really enjoyed my car camping experience at Marianne's. I got in around 8:30pm and Marianne and the instructions to get me there and get me through the passcoded gate were perfect. Once there, Marianne met me and showed me where to park, kept me up to date on the weather (I had no idea it was going to rain the next morning), made sure I parked appropriately, and showed me where to find the bathroom. The stay was so quiet and peaceful, even with another couple camping nearby. I woke up to a few horse friends who were checking me out, thinking I was bringing their breakfast! Marianne came by the site with some biscuits for the horses and I got to feed a few of them and chat with her for a while before I left. I had a really great time even though my trip was brief. I was looking for a place to camp where I felt safe on my first cross country car camping trip and the place was perfect. Plus, Marianne is a fantastic host and also just great to chat with! And did I mention that there are horses?

When you look for treasures throughout your path go no further, when you meet Marianne you’ll learn instantly she’s a real gem. Marianne greeted us with open arms and a truly kind heart. Right away, we felt right at home! Her gorgeous farm, the pond and the vibe all around felt magical. This was our very first time ever camping in a van and Marianne and her heaven on earth farm and warm hospitality set our journey off to the perfect start. Waking up to the birds and the quiet was the exact tranquility we were seeking. We were traveling with our two dogs and Marianne was just the best to coordinate with us how we can go about our walks with them and roam free on the amazing property. Marianne, we are truly grateful to you for opening your home to us and letting us camp by your beautiful pond. We had the best time ever! If anyone is seeking to find a relaxing place and the warmest welcome, contact Marianne and you will have the time and the memories of a lifetime. We loved camping at Peace, Ponies, and Pond @ Pinchona! David and Marianne were kind, helpful, and overall exceptional hosts. My children loved fishing and seeing the horses on their farm. I would highly recommend staying here, whether just passing through or looking for a multi-day escape.

I had a lovely experience car camping at Marianne’s farm. I got there kind of late but she was willing to accommodate. She was helpful and quick to communicate. I felt safe there as a solo, female camper and would definitely return. Highly recommend! Ps the bull frogs can be loud at night time in the summer if that’s something that bothers you.

This was seriously my favorite weekend with the kids, EVER! We came upon this site committed to making a camping trip happen and Georgia was getting rained out. Marianne was SO friendly as well as everyone else we spoke to. Everyone was so down to earth as well. The kids rode horses and we enjoyed the dog, BuBu, moseying through camp. We had lots of laughs with him. We also stopped by the Alabama drive through safari and it was soooo funny! Just such a wholesome weekend with the kids and family. We had no gripes! My husband thought a little more privacy would have been nice as the location is on the drive from the entrance but I was thankful for the proximity to the house because all the interaction with people on the grounds were so friendly and great talking to us and the kids. I would camp here again!!

Great land & great hosts

Marianne was helpful from the moment we arrived, after dark, due to unforseen circumstances. She came to meet us at the gate & showed us where our RV would fit the best. The views on their land from sunrise to sunset were gorgeous. They have an abundance of horses that our kids loved watching & helping to feed. They were helpful in lending us 6 gallon water jugs for us to fill our RV. David showed us around their land in the side by side & have us the best fishing spots. My 7 year old took a riding lesson with Gina & her Shetland pony, Opposum and loved cleaning the horses hooves out. She says, 'I love all the horses!' She helped Marianne get feed ready for the horses - Marianne was so patient & we are thankful that she let her help. We would come back to stay here in the future. These hosts are wonderful.

Such a cool place. We arrive at dark, after a long day of driving. We were met and showed our spot. Great spot! We awoke to an amazing property with horses and a lake cooler than we thought. Thanks so much for providing a wonderful place for us.
