I loved this site, it was perfect for my first solo camping night, even know I left due to weather. It felt private but not secluded. The bathrooms were clean and well maintained. I would love to give it another try if I am in the area again. The host was also very helpful and pleasant to communicate with.

Bates Farm was a great place to stay. I booked a site later in the afternoon and I had a response from Mary confirming the booking almost immediately. The hosts were super polite and very helpful. Bathrooms and shower were very clean and worked amazing. The archery range looked like it would be fun and I will have to return with my bow next time!

The bathhouse was clean and comfortable, the site included a nice picnic area and fire pit, and there were even 'surprise' amenities like a free laundry area. The ride to our camp site was amazingly beautiful down a trail. Once we got to our campsite it was beautiful open grassy area woodsy trails open nature pluse stargazing. Each campsite sets far back from each other for more privacy. This is true nature camping experience we loved it. Our host was very helpful and we will certainly come back. It's going to be gorgeous when the leaves start changing.

I loved camping here at Bates Farm! It was a very peaceful and spacious primitive site where you can really feel more immersed in nature. It was an excellent experience from the reservation to check out time. The hosts take time to talk to you and periodically check in to see if you need anything. The property has an excellent choice of different tent camping spots. The bathrooms showers and laundry areas are clean. Me and 3 other friends were on a motorcycle trip and all of us say we would definitely stay at Bates Farm again if in the area!

Mary was so helpful and kind. The campground itself is beautiful. We wanted a private respite among the trees, and Bates Farm was exactly that. We had a great time camping here. The land is very secluded and quiet. The owners offer a wide range of activities for families and those who are interested in archery! My husband and I took advantage of the archery set up. The small bathhouse has everything you need to get cleaned up including private full bathroom with toilet, shower with hot water, sink and storage to place your items. Everything was kept clean as well. Mary and her husband were great hosts and were available to help us as needed. They also gave fun suggestions for things to do in the area as our original plans had been cancelled due to rainy weather. If we are ever back in the area, we will be camping here again!
