I just want to say we had an AMAZING experience! They are the absolute nicest people and so helpful with everything. We got the basic campsite and it came with a shower, water bag, and compost toilet and we didnt know it would come with that. They give you fire starter as well. We used the solar generator and it charged two phones, a tablet, ran a sound bar and our fan for 8ish hours. The hospitality was enough to make us repeat customers, they truly are the sweetest people ever.

Lothlorien tent site
Great close by secluded camping
We had a great time camping at our site for one night during labor day weekend! The water provided was perfect for cleaning our dishes and the battery pump worked great for the hose. Paper towels were provided and clorox wipes along with toiletries and towels for the shower and toilet paper for the compost toilet. The place was set up so cute for kids and I know would be fun especially with a tire swing and zip line. It was great shade over the whole site. It was nice that logs were provided and plenty of kindling all around. We should have brought an ax to split the logs and they would have burned better but we know now for next time! For tent camping there's a slope to the ground so navigating a good area is a must but it seemed like plenty of trees were available for hammock camping which we were deciding between since we brought both options. The wide campsite area was just perfect! Our dogs had a great area to explore. We greatly enjoyed our evening campfire and it was great having the picnic table available as well! It was great meeting our hosts and made our stay very welcoming.

We absolutely loved our stay at Bates farm! The property was very beautiful. Wayne (Mary’s husband) was so hospitable and helpful. He helped us set up our tents, he provided us with a generator, new air mattresses, pillows and blankets after a rain storm, and Watermelon from his garden. Their hospitality was very gracious and we really appreciated them. We had a great time, and we would certainly go back!

Tilly's Wildflower Site
Wonderful weekend getaway!
My boyfriend and I stayed here the weekend of July 14th for our anniversary and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! We chose the glamping site since neither one of us wanted to spend our anniversary setting up a tent and it was far more than I ever expected! We got to the site to find a teepee style tent with queen bed and bedding, a kitchen set up including a fridge, propane stove, countertops and storage compartments(with a full 21 piece cooking set)all covered with a canopy, a private camping shower and compost toilet, a firepit with cooking attachments and even a projector to watch a movie. Not only did they supply all of that they supplied a generator with gas, lighting, fans. We really had to do NOTHING except bring food and ourselves. The campsite was beautiful as we were set up next to a wildflower field and completely secluded. I haven't even gotten to the hospitality of the hosts! It was completely unmatched. They are both truly wonderful people. All weekend I kept saying it does not feel like we are camping it feels like we are staying with friends and I truly loved that. This time we did not get to do much exploring but they did take us around on the Mule and showed us all the different sites and fun features. Next time we will definitely be taking a closer look. Do yourself a favor and book a night or two (or more) I can promise you that you won't regret it! We are already looking at our next trip out to Bates Farm :)

Tilly's Wildflower Site
This place was so so so nice to stay at with the girls! They were so kind in helping get us out there and setting up the perfect surprise celebration. They made sure we had power and supplies and even helped us set up our fire and projector to watch movies! We had the perfect view right in front of a beautiful field of wildflowers. 10/10 will ABSOLUTELY be back here again.
