Embedded in a native Ohia Forest within the Wao O Kele Forest Reserve . A lot of great loving intention has gone into this place. The camp area is also our grow area for Cannabis. It is less than a one minute walk to the shower and the main treehouse. The area is not covered and it does rain. But there are plenty of trees to attach a tarp to in case you would like a tarp over your tent. The ground is not perfectly level and has rocks and roots in some areas. First come, first served on the space inside the treehouse.

Brent was one of the most hospitable people we've ever met! He was very knowledgeable about the land and plants. He offered us tea and we chatted for a couple of hours with him and his assistant. We unfortunately couldn't stay because we didn't adequately prepare for how much rain the island was getting. We can't wait to be back!
Best experience on the big island
Brent and his enchanting personality, treehouse, and property will guarantee that you will have a great time staying here. You won't have the luxuries of modern society, but the experience with connecting with Brent and the forest is well worth it. We are 100% coming back here so look no further than this spot.
This was definitely my favorite place to stay during my trip to Hawaii! Brent is a super cool host and his treehouse is a work of art. If you're reading this, you have found something truly special.
Planning on staying here? Be sure to bring layers, rain jackets, food, and a vehicle with high ground clearance. The road on the way to the site gets pretty bumpy and we had to switch out our sedan for an SUV. Once we did that we had no problems :) Also keep in mind that it rains pretty much every day/night in the rainforest. You probably shouldn't bring anything bigger than a 3-man tent. Check-in during the daytime if you can!
