The Hele-On Bus is just 1.2 miles up the road. If you want to drive to the green sand beach at the end of our road, rent a 4 wheel drive. If you are athletic, you can walk, but it is 4 miles down and 4 miles back. I recommend going early in the morning and take water. Hot water shower is propane. Bring ice for your ice chest. Bring drinking water. There is a gas grill and propane single burner. Bathroom has manual flush toilet,. This is off the grid solar and there can be days without sun, or other glitches. You can charge your phone and have a lamp in your cabin. No wifi. I use ATandT and I understand that Verizon and T-Mobile work here also. The panoramic ocean view is spectacular! Very peaceful and relaxing! Our glamping cabins are in the front 3 acres. The back 17 acres is an old Ohia forest with 500 year old trees and lots of birds. You might even see a wild goat or a wild pig. There are small caves and gorgeous rock formations. It backs up to Manuka Forest Reserve.

There is no electricity in the cabanas but there are power strips available in the common area. The common area consists of a large deck with picnic tables, Wifi access (pw: pickalltheweeds), power strips for charging electronics, canopies for when it rains, a 2-burner hotplate for cooking, pots, pans, plates, utensils, cups, dry food storage and a full sized fridge with freezer. Please keep the area clean. We also offer morning Breakfast Basket options: Small basket $ - 2 Papayas, 6 bananas, 2 cups of coffee. It's one-of-a-kind! Most of the parcels are 20 acre parcels around… But a few smaller parcels across the road. We have nice neighbors who keep an eye on things. The nearest grocery store is about 3 miles away. The Hele-On Bus is just 1.2 miles up the road. If you want to drive to the green sand beach at the end of our road, rent a 4 wheel drive. If you are athletic, you can walk, but it is 4 miles down and 4 miles back. I recommend going early in the morning and take water. Hot water shower is propane. Bring ice for your ice chest. Bring drinking water. There is plenty of coffee and tea in the kitchenette. Boil hot water in the kettle, put cone filter with a paper filter and ground coffee inside and on top of thermos. Drip. It's delicious! This is off the grid solar and there can be days without sun, or other glitches. No wifi. I use ATandT and I understand that Verizon and Tmobile work also The panoramic ocean view is spectacular! Very peaceful and relaxing! The back 15 acres is an old Ohia forest with 500 year old trees and lots of birds. You might even see a wild goat or a wild pig. There are small caves and gorgeous rock formations. It backs up to Manuka Forest Reserve. We have beautiful furnished cabins with beds, so you don't have to pitch a tent. Pillows, blankets, fresh towels provided.

Brian (local) watches the place and is with intersting stories and island guide if you inquire. The Property is Amazing... Such a huge area with Beautiful Sunrise and you can see the Plume of the volcano. It is about a 40 minute drive to volcano national park.. The cabanas were clean and cute.. a definite hippy vibe... Shower is hot and bed was comfortable at butterfly pea... I wish I knew that they were not offering dinners there... I guess they are selling the food truck.. But the forage tour was so much fun!! Over all a Great Experience. Would come again... Mahalo 🌺

I had a fantastic two-night stay in the “SHE” shed, which featured a cool mood lighting! The area was incredibly peaceful for sleeping, and the cabin had an amazing cross breeze that ensured a comfortable night's rest. While there is air conditioning, it wasn't necessary. The views were spectacular, with beautiful sunrises, sunsets, and great opportunities for stargazing. Eddie was very accommodating; he even built a fire for me so I could make s'mores! His dogs, Coco and Ocho, were incredibly sweet—Coco kept watch outside my door all night. The shower offered hot water, and having a flushing toilet was definitely a plus. Eddie is knowledgeable about the area and can guide you in the right direction, no matter what journey you're on! I would definitely stay again. Thanks!

This is review of the eco lodge. We got upgraded by the host as they were doing some prep to summer work on their property. The eco lodge is exceptionally well fitted. The hosts didn’t leave us wanting for anything. The kitchen could not have been any better appointed. We enjoyed morning qigong by the stream, our evening tea by the stream, afternoon nap on the hammock by the stream and sat by the stream in the evening with fire going…. The prayer flags gladdened my soul. The solar light strings made the property feel warm at night. Does it count as foraging if you are picking fir tips on the property?

The pictures really don't do justice to the views you get here. Easily the best views of anywhere I stayed during my trip, unfortunate I was only there for one night. Jasmine came to greet me, showed me around the site and dropped off some bananas from the farm. Cabin is comfortable and very relaxing, and the outdoor shower is both warm and has great water pressure. The stargazing is incredible when the weather cooperates. Excellent food and coffee options just down the hill. Yeah, just an overall excellent location. Highly recommend.

Starseed Ranch was an awesome space to unplug. Our little Hale was very cute and adorable, with a nice covered porch, comfortable bed and little closet + drawers. The roof makes a lovely sound during a rain storm. We had the place to ourselves, which was lovely, but would love to see this place in full force. The outdoor kitchen and sitting areas were well maintained and ready to host a feast. Next time! Was great to see some regen ag up close. Loved our time here! Highly recommend!
