Banyan Tree Sanctuary Guesthous
6 sites · Lodging3 acres · Kailua, HIWe have been the stewards of this aina for over 20 years. When we purchased it in 2002, there were only several varieties of fruit, now there are over 30 and growing. We make our own soil, and have trucked in many hundreds of truckloads of mulch to do that, and constantly make soil with our composting efforts. We are on a dormant volcano, Hualalai, that last erupted in 1801. The weather is ideal for growing most types of tropical fruit and many varieties of vegetables.
