Twice a week we bake fresh breads that are sold at local markets and you are welcome to buy a loaf of your choice directly out of the oven.

Mauna Loa Tent
Andi was an awesome host. There was hot fresh tea when we arrived. The tent was spacious and comfortable and the bathhouse was so clean and had a nice warm shower! It rained through the night but we stayed dry. We enjoyed our stay at this pretty get away!

Great South Island experience
Mauna Loa Tent
Andi was an amazing host. She met us at the gate to make sure we had the right place, showed us the property and its amenities, and had delicious and comforting tea ready for us. She was very warm and welcoming. I would come back to stay there the next time we are on the Big Island!

Such a beautiful property. The hot shower and bathrooms were clean and a great change from our van life adventure. Iris brought us thermos of delicious lemongrass tea that I drank up each night. Comfy, cozy bed & super clean bedding. A++++

Andi’s place was easy to find and very comfortable and convenient. The host was responsive, helpful, and made the stay very enjoyable. The land was well situated to explore the attractions around the southern tip of the island. They even had fresh picked fruits and nuts to offer. Great stay.

Cozy tent, ocean view
Mauna Kea Tent
Loved the campsite, cozy tent and even a bit of ocean view. Host was welcoming and kind, left us local fruit and warm tea. Bonus for flush toilets and a warm (indoor) shower! Great location, remote and quiet but a close drive to some nice local spots. Great middle ground if you're traveling from Kona to Hilo and sightseeing along the way. Last bit of the route is a bit rough though, make sure you're ready for dirt roads.
