5 acres of trees up on a hill with breathtaking views of the mountains, including the 14er peak, Mount Sneffels. Only 5 miles from the small mountain town of Ridgway, Colorado and only 30 miles from the famous mountain town of Telluride, Colorado. Friendly hosts willing to offer great advice about how to explore the area. The mountain views from the property makes you imagine you are in Nepal looking at one of the Himalayan Peaks!Park your van or car (there is a space for tent not far from the parking spot…note: must be totally self contained, toilet, etc). Walk 50 yards from your spot and set up your chairs and enjoy the sense of being in the wild and viewing the Rockies where Mount Sneffels is the showpiece. You can easily imagine you in Nepal viewing the Mountains. You are only a short drive away from Orvis Hot Springs, Ouray Hot Springs, and 30 minutes from downtown Telluride, Colorado.

Charming and private spot! My son saw his first snow here. We liked it so much we returned when the weather was warmer for a second night and enjoyed a morning brunch with a breathtaking view.

David’s spot is great! Such beautiful views of the San Juan mountains, especially Mnt. Sneffles! Very peaceful and close to Ridgway. David is a great host.

The Iconic Sneffels View
We loved camping on David’s land! The directions were clear and he even met us to show us around the property. Would 10/10 recommend to anyone needing a spot in the Ridgway / Ouray area. The views from the campsite you couldn’t beat.
