1960's VW Bus
Great hosts
I loved the location, it’s a beautiful spot up in the mountains and the bus and shepherds wagon make for a really unique and fun experience.
The real standout is the hosts. Tami and her husband are super kind, flexible and just overall great people. They’re the perfect hosts and I can’t recommend them enough. We got to the site late and had trouble finding the right road and they walked us through it and helped us, and they were super patient throughout the process.
The only tip I have for people going out to camp, arrive before dark. It’s out in the mountains and we were late to arrive and it’s hard to see on the back roads. It’s a beautiful drive, so don’t miss out on the beauty, also don’t make a headache for yourself by not being able to see where you’re going.

Shepherds Wagon

I rented the shepherds wagon on Tami's property and loved it. The property is beautiful and remote, the wagon was adorable and very safe and warm despite near freezing temps. Tami and her husband were very warm and accommodating. If you want a taste of the true west this is the place to do it! 5 out of 5 stars and I will be back next year!

1970's Restored Cessna Airplane

This is a breathtaking camping experience. My husband and I are at awe in regards to the location, the experience and the hosts themselves! We cannot wait to come back soon and experience more of this little slice of heaven.

1960's VW Bus
Unique and amazing stay
We absolutely loved our stay in the 1960’s VW bus! The hosts were very welcoming and met us at the gate to guide us to our spot (super fun short drive to the site). The bus was so comfortable and had many special touches such as lights, speakers, a bean bag chair, and cute decorations.
The property was very private, peaceful, and quiet with great views. We truly couldn’t have ask for a better experience!
The bus was very comfortable and was plenty spacious for the two of us plus our dog. I was very impressed by the flushing toilet and sink in the bathroom. We would recommend Phantom Canyon Hideout to anyone!
