Property borders the Florissant Fossil Bed National Monument. Campsite is on private, beautiful, quiet 26 acres of ponderosa, spruce, fir and aspens with a wonderful view of Badger Mtn. Cripple Creek, Woodland Park and Eleven Mile Reservoir are appx 30 mins away; Breckenridge and Buena Vista about an hour; Mueller State Park and Eleven Mile Canyon being appx 15 mins away. Enjoy a game of corn hole and stargazing at your campsite. Campsite equipped w/ sun shower and camp toilet. Please note, this is a tent site only with no access for camper trailers.Welcome to Camp Kan-Ne-Ga which is Ute for home. Relax in our glamping tent which accommodates a queen size bed with views of Badger Mtn and the Florissant Fossil Bed Nat'l Monument from the door, deck or site area. Enjoy hiking trails on property or visit surrounding attractions. You will have complete privacy with the owner's residence being a 1/4-mile hike from the glamp site.

Everything was perfect. Will’s place is beautiful and it had everything for the perfect weekend. Not to mention that Will and his wife are the nicest people.

We had such a great time here! Will and Carrie are wonderful hosts. The site is easy the find and really well taken care of. Such a great place to relax and we loved that there we some trails located on site for some easy access hiking. We’ll definitely be back!

Wonderful Trip

We absolutely loved the place. Will and Carrie were so kind and have created a wonderful atmosphere to enjoy life and nature and forget about life’s hustles and bustles. We also enjoyed the local Brewery which had great beer and food. There is a great little market just miles from the camping site or a Safeway in Woodland Park if coming in from Denver area. We loved the privacy of the camp while also having access to unlimited access to anything we wanted to do within a reasonable driving distance. We did everything from hiking the property to visiting local hangouts, taking the Cog Train to Pikes Peak, hiking Seven Falls, Garden of the Gods along with several miles around a beautiful Resevior outside of Woodland Park. We wound our evenings down enjoying a campfire, long chats and experiencing nature in all its glory!!!

Wonderful,private place. Very quiet

I wrote a full review for guests and it disappeared. I did not give a low rating. I would rate this Hipcamp a 4.5, subtracting .5 for the too-soft bed. Excellent host. 5 stars for him.
