Aviation buffs – and kids – will enjoy strolling amid Valle’s collection of vintage airplanes.
Located halfway between Williams and the South Rim of the Grand Canyon (only 30 minutes from each), the small town of Valle is home to its own grand attraction – the Planes Of Fame AirMuseum. Once the museum outgrew its Chino, California, digs, it transferred more than 40 of its restored aircraft to Valle in 1995; many are still flyable. Friendly docents will show you around the collection of planes, displayed in both an enclosed and outside hangar. Stick around and you might even get to see the engines fire up.
Fans of The Flintstones cartoon may also know Valle as the home of the Bedrock City roadside attraction. This kitschy landmark has attracted curious visitors en route to the Grand Canyon since 1972.

Big shady trees, big fire pit, 3 acres to spread out, mountain views with incredible sunsets and star gazing! You can smell trees, fresh/ clean air, 20 minute drive to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, 35 minute drive to Williams, AZ and a little over an hours drive to Flagstaff, AZ. The wind through the trees and the peaceful calm out on my 3 acres is relaxing, I can't say enough about the sunsets and star gazing- you can see the whole Milky Way!
