Welcome to Elmcrest Acres, located in an area known to locals as Devil's Creek. Originally this was a dairy farm started by my parents in the 40's. My dad had been selling Christmas trees since 1945 and when the milking got to be too much for my mom we converted it to a Christmas tree farm in 1979. Dave & I built our home here and continue the Christmas tree tradition as well as raise Haflinger horses, The sheep started as 4H projects for our kids in the 90's and now my daughter and I have a small flock. One thing seems to lead to another here and we opened the farm to visitors. We have a large space that can be used for family reunions, birthday parties etc and we offer a variety of classes and special events. (This will be the building where you can get water, use the bathroom and take emergency shelter if needed.) We also purchased my parents home from my siblings and rent it as a farm stay vacation spot. We really enjoy the variety of people we've hosted in one way or another, and love to share what our lives are like with others.While I love to travel myself, there is no where else I could call home! Located just a half mile from our farm you will have complete privacy, but are welcome to come visit the animals. Site includes a fire ring and picnic table. Our 120 acres are located about 10 miles off the highway in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. There are state hiking and ATV trails within a couple of miles if you want to venture further than our property. Bring a camera as you will have plenty of opportunities to see wildlife. This campsite is remote and in a rural area, you never have to see another person if you choose not too. This is your best defense against Covid-19! (Picnic table is disinfected between each set of guests.)

The Bungalow at Water Lily Cove is a 40' park model trailer on a half acre lot on a quiet corner of Left Foot Lake. This location is a wildlife watchers dream as you're virtually guaranteed to see Loons calling and Bald Eagles soaring over the lake, deer strolling through the yard and plenty of frogs and turtles along the shoreline. Plus pretty good fishing!
The trailer (Jayco Jay Flight Bungalow) has large windows facing the lake, dual slide-outs, kitchen and full-size refrigerator, shower and flush-toilet in the bathroom as well as a washer and dryer! Weekend Trip to Alderwood Crossing
This was an easy, one night stop. Paul greeted us as soon as we pulled in and kindly showed us the space. The water pump in the cabin was a huge help, and it was nice to charge phones using the power station. Felt extremely private, even being close to other cabins.

I cannot stress this enough, lovely hosts, even lovelier spot! The amenities were killer for a motorcycle ride, clean showers, laundry, on site food/drinks, wood for fire.
Seriously my group rolled in on motorcycles and they went out of their way to accommodate us. With a terrible storm rolling in they entertained us at the onsite bar, even offering shelter if things got too serious. In short, don’t hesitate to drop in on this wonderful hosts!

This site is absolutely amazing! Super spacious, great sun and shade options. There is nice fire pits and picnic tables and the cleanest ports-potty I’ve ever seen. My wife and I loved sitting by the river and watching our dog play in it all day. Kathy is a fantastic host and made sure we had everything we needed. I would absolutely recommend this site to anyone looking for a spacious and private spot to relax.

We loved our time at Vagabond Resort! We were greeted by Kenny who made our stay the most enjoyable time! We had our toddler with us and we were excited to take her to the swings, little did we know they had all sorts of outdoor toys, slides, sandbox and even a basketball hoop for her to play with! The next morning, Kenny noticed us outside at the playground and he brought us two rags to wipe water away from the equipment we were playing with - it was so kind! He even let us pet his sweet doggy Sassy 🤗 all in all it was a wonderful place with clean bathrooms and lots of space to make a short home in nature ❤️ we loved it! Thanks!!

We had an amazing stay at River View Get Away. The site was peaceful, private, and exactly what we were looking for. We often travel during busy holiday weekends, so having the space almost entirely to ourselves was such a refreshing change.
Kathy was one of the most welcoming hosts we’ve ever met. She checked in to make sure we had everything we needed, shared helpful information about the property, and genuinely cared that we enjoyed our stay. We even had a funny mix-up with the firewood payment, and she handled it with so much kindness and humor.
The campsite was well-maintained, quiet, and perfect for relaxing by the river, fishing, and unwinding. My husband said before we even left that this is his favorite campsite we’ve stayed at and that we’d absolutely come back.

First time camping with our young family while exploring Door County, and it couldn’t have been a better experience. John and Phil were incredibly helpful in getting us settled into our primitive campsite and made us feel welcome right away.
The campsite itself was spacious enough for our family of four, with plenty of room to comfortably set up an 8-person tent. It was level, private, and nicely surrounded by trees and brush, which made it feel peaceful and secluded. The only minor downside was the lack of picnic tables at the primitive sites.
My wife was especially impressed by how clean the bathrooms and shower facilities were throughout our stay. Overall, this campground made for an excellent first family camping experience, and we’re already looking forward to coming back.

The primitive spots have a couple of port a potties and carts to take your things to the site from your car. Each site has a fire ring. There is a playground for kids and a bike trail. I tent camped at Kathy's land for 5 days with my two dogs. The site was well maintained, very large, and absolutely beautiful! My dogs loved swimming in the river and running around the property. It was completely private and I had my dogs off leash the whole time. Kathy was very helpful and friendly, and she even recommended going hiking at Pier's Gorge that was about 30 minutes away. It was a very peaceful week away from the city ❤️
