Vagabond Resort offers a welcoming and well-maintained camping experience. Campers frequently praise the friendly and accommodating hosts, Yvonne and Kenny, who go out of their way to ensure guests have everything they need. The facilities, including clean bathrooms, showers, and a laundry option, are well-received, and the picturesque views, particularly the sunsets, add to the serene atmosphere. It seems to be a family-friendly and dog-friendly spot, with plenty of activities for children and pets to enjoy.
We stayed in a pop-up camper for 3 nights at Vagabond and it was very lovely! Kenny, one of the owners, is fantastic and incredibly accommodating! Highly recommend!
The perfect balance of nature and modern amenities. Host was pleasant and even had some firewood and other necessary items available. Would camp here again
We had a great stay here. The site was tucked in the trees and provided a fire pit, water jug, and garbage can. The hosts were very friendly and got us set up with everything we needed right when we arrived. We also really appreciated the flush toilets, showers and the option for laundry. We will be back next time we are in the area!
We had an amazing stay! Yvonne’s hospitality truly made the experience special. She was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The campsite was clean, well-maintained, and had a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere that made it easy to unwind. It was also incredibly dog-friendly, with plenty of space for our dogs to explore and even go swimming!! Overall, it was a fantastic experience from start to finish, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful campsite and a wonderful host!
The bathroom facility was clean and came with a washer and dryer. The campground was well maintained and the dock to the bay was well maintained too. The host was very kind and hospitable and made us feel welcome!
This was a nice facility and hosts. The spot we had was site 54 and was pretty private. There weren't many campers on our side the night we were there.
Beautiful sunset view over the lake. Lovely staff. They had an issue with the camper we reserved so they upgraded us to a cabin, which was rustic but lovely.
The views were beautiful and it was nice and peaceful at night. During the day they have fun for the kids such as the play ground area, entrance to the bay with a 100ft dock. You're allowed to bring kayaks to enjoy the water. Also the fact that there is a bath house is something on its own when you're camping. Would stay again.
We loved our time at Vagabond Resort! We were greeted by Kenny who made our stay the most enjoyable time! We had our toddler with us and we were excited to take her to the swings, little did we know they had all sorts of outdoor toys, slides, sandbox and even a basketball hoop for her to play with! The next morning, Kenny noticed us outside at the playground and he brought us two rags to wipe water away from the equipment we were playing with - it was so kind! He even let us pet his sweet doggy Sassy 🤗 all in all it was a wonderful place with clean bathrooms and lots of space to make a short home in nature ❤️ we loved it! Thanks!!
It was very peaceful. Other campers were very respectful. Host was very helpful, and kind. The sunsets here are second to none. We will definitely be coming back next year.
Nice campground with very clean bathhouse. Rustic sites are away from RV camping, so private (I was the only one there :) Stores are short drive away if needed.
Yvonne’s campsite was wonderful! The bathrooms were clean the spot was spacious with a fire ring and picnic table, as well as the electric ports. We were able to buy plenty of wood for cheap for our campfires. We had a great time. We went fishing in the lake and even though we didn’t catch anything it was still cool even walking in the water and seeing how clear and beautiful it was. A great spot to stargaze at night. The owners were wonderful and seem to be passionate about using their time at Vagabond to give people wonderful memories.
Yvonne’s hospitality and guidance what makes this place exceptional. He was the most kindest and helpful host I have ever come across. Also the place is well maintained and definitely a campers heaven.
Really great stay! Easy check in followed by great recommendations from the host! Campground had a nice playground for kids, bathrooms and was set up well for both RV and tent campers. We stayed in a rooftop tent and enjoyed having a fire pit and picnic table at each site. Sunset swim was a bonus!
This was a great place to stop for the night. Very welcoming and the host recommended a walk down to see the sunset which was beautiful. Nice hot shower which was great
After a nice long conversation with Yvonne and her husband and telling me about their campground, the local places to see and my camping site, I can say I’m very happy and will come back again in the near future. For the LADIES this campground has clean bathrooms and showers, THAT’s the reason why I came to this campground. A+++ For the GENTLEMEN you have access to the lake and have your boat on the campground dock. A+++
