The views from the dock are the crown jewel of the property.

We had a great time in the Straw Clay Cabin! It was clean, cozy and comfortable. We really enjoyed this unique cabin, including the woodland animals that are built in to the walls, and also having some information available in the cabin about how it was constructed. We also enjoyed hiking around property and seeing the chickens and sheep wandering around! Overall a great stay, we'd be happy to come back.

Dena was wonderful - kind and helpful and willing to accommodate a scheduling mistake on my part. Tai + Stella’s visitor guide and map were very informative and easy to follow. Logan brought us firewood and allowed us to enjoy the area in peace. The site is beautiful in Autumn and very quiet except for occasional traffic. Bill was very friendly and clearly shows pride in his ancestral land. He has hand crafted a beautiful building as a replica of a lodge in Yellowstone. The entire area in that part of Wisconsin is visually outstanding.
