Lots of large groups have reserved multiple or all sites for their large groups and for more privacy. However please keep in mind the place still needs to be cleaned up upon leaving.
Private camp area close and easy access to Forest service road 4517 that has ATV, dirt bike and snowmobile trails in amazing Cle Elum's Little Creek and Granite Creek area. Can take ride ORV from campground to Forest road, but no trail riding in campground or surrounding gravel roads. Vehicles must have spark arrestors.
Quiet and private for groups to hang out and enjoy the area, hiking, exploring, and enjoying the night sky. We often kayak at Easton State Park or at Cooper Lake and then come back to this private camp area away from the crowds.
Huge parking and camping area where 10+ vehicles and RVs can easily drive to and park before heading out on the trail or use as a base camp to enjoy the peaceful mountains around you and explore are area around you.
You will enjoy the peaceful hills and unobstructed views of a stary night sky.
No electrical or water hookups. This is not a KOA, it's a very private rough campground area with beautiful views. There are no manicured lawns, but lots of rocky areas and often wildlife walking about. Deer and turkeys often are seen and grasshoppers when its warm. Forest Road to campsite often is bumpy with good sized potholes.
The internet service via T-Mobile is incredible on 4/18/2024 I was getting the following at the entrance of the camp area:

A sweet rustic retreat in the heart of the Cascades. This charming historic home is tucked away on a private, shady lot filled with lilac and fruit trees. You are just steps from hiking and mountain biking trails, and a short drive or bike ride to beautiful Lake Cle Elum, the Alpine Lakes Wilderness, and the historic town of Roslyn. Quiet and private for groups to hang out and enjoy the area, hiking, exploring, and enjoying the night sky. We often kayak at Easton State Park or at Cooper Lake and then come back to this private camp area away from the crowds.
Huge parking and camping area where 10+ vehicles and RVs can easily drive to and park before heading out on the trail or use as a base camp to enjoy the peaceful mountains around you and explore are area around you.

No electrical or water hookups. This is not a KOA, it's a very private rough campground area with beautiful views. There are no manicured lawns, but lots of rocky areas and often wildlife walking about. Deer and turkeys often are seen and grasshoppers when its warm. Forest Road to campsite often is bumpy with good sized potholes.

A sweet rustic retreat in the heart of the Cascades. This charming historic home is tucked away on a private, shady lot filled with lilac and fruit trees. You are just steps from hiking and mountain biking trails, and a short drive or bike ride to beautiful Lake Cle Elum, the Alpine Lakes Wilderness, and the historic town of Roslyn. This is an historic home and private yard that feels like a hideaway and a portal to a quieter time and is also a great jumping off place for any kind of outdoor adventure. You can choose to sleep in the house or set up your tent in the shady yard, or both. Maximum capacity in the house is 2 people. Maximum capacity for the property is six people total. The driveway will accommodate one vehicle/van/camper and there is additional street parking.
The house offers one bathroom and one queen bed, a small, supplied, kitchen, and a living room with a TV and DVD player for those stay-inside times. We do not have WiFi, but there is cellular reception through most providers. Because of the delicate nature of the 120-year-old house and heirloom-plant-filled yard, we do not accept pets. (We do love them, though!)

We can accommodate up to 4 R.V.s and multiple Tents. Power, Water and Internet if needed. 3 miles to town. 1 mile to the National forest. Side by Side, Dirt bike, hike, hunt, shoot? All this is available either a short drive, or from the property. Pet friendly as long as they are managed. That goes for kids as well. Cle Elum is in the heart of the Cascades. We loved our stay at the Rookery! The site is quiet and peaceful, despite having neighbors nearby. We didn't see or hear anything from the adjacent properties, and felt like we were in the middle of nowhere by ourselves. The river and surrounding hills are BEAUTIFUL! Full hookups make it a breeze to stay here, as did the easy in-easy out with our 23 ft. trailer.

The property was easy to get to and the lot itself was accommodating, Allowing plenty of room to spread out. It was perfectly shaded and the river access was great. If your into fishing, the cutthroat trout were fun to catch!

This spot was exactly what I needed for a night as I was just passing through. The drive in was stunning going through Mt Rainier. The host greeted me when I got there and gave me the wifi password. I took the spot with the electrical outlet and was assured that the security cameras didn’t point at my site. Overall, felt safe & unbothered.

We spent two nights in the treehouse. The view was awesome! It was quiet, secluded and relaxing. The outside shower was super fun to use and inside the treehouse had everything you would need. Weather was perfect and we enjoyed the town of Goldendale.
