Prosser camping puts you right in the midst of Washington wine country.
On the Yakima River in the heart of Washington wine country, not far from the border with Oregon, the little city of Prosser is a great place for campers wanting to add a little bit of wine tasting to their outdoor fun. Base yourself here to be within easy reach of the area's numerous vineyards and wineries, as well as popular tourist attractions such as the Hanford Reach National Monument and Sacajawea State Park. While the Prosser area is rich with wineries, you'll also find plenty of other landscapes in the area, from massive hop farms to ranches spread out over massive expanses of prairie land. Many area landowners welcome tent campers and RVers to their lands, and while most offer sites for one group at a time, some have upwards of six tent or RV sites.
