Close to Brooks State Park, Simco wildlife area, and many other hiking and outdoor activities along the Columbia Gorge.Experience forest glamping at Pine + Yarrow Retreat, a canvas wall tent tucked into 10 wooded acres near Brooks Memorial State Park and the Simcoe Wildlife Area. Watch deer pass by the tent, cook on the Blackstone griddle, and enjoy fresh coffee from the French press each morning. Inside you'll find a queen memory foam bed, wood stove, lantern, and Ryobi battery cooler. Porta potty, well water, and ATV parking available. The space Pine + Yarrow Retreat sits on 10 wooded acres outside of Goldendale, Washington. Surrounded by tall pines and open forest, the property offers space to slow down and experience the peace of nature. Wildlife is common here. Deer frequently move through the trees and often pass right by the tent, especially in the early mornings and evenings. The land is peaceful and spacious, with room to wander, stretch your legs, and take in the quiet of the forest. Guests are welcome to explore the property on foot. The land is fenced or loosely fenced in areas. Please stay out of pastured areas with horses. Located near Brooks Memorial State Park and the Simcoe Wildlife Area, the retreat makes a great base for hiking, exploring the Columbia River Gorge region, or setting up a comfortable hunting basecamp during the season. Guest access Guests will have access to the Pine + Yarrow canvas wall tent and the surrounding forested area of the property. You are welcome to walk and explore the land during your stay and enjoy the quiet natural setting. The property is fenced or loosely fenced in areas, please be mindful to not go onto other private properties. Horse pastures and fenced livestock areas are not accessible to guests. Please do not enter these spaces or approach the horses. Guests also have access to: • The outdoor cooking area and Blackstone griddle and accessories • Porta potty located next to the tent • Well water spout access nearby (closer to cabin) • Parking area, including space for ATVs or 4-wheelers This is a peaceful rural property shared with the host, horses, and a friendly dog. Guests are encouraged to enjoy the land while being respectful of animals, wildlife, and the natural surroundings.
