We have a group site with dispersed camping. There is a portapotty available on site. This is our family retreat. Very calming and relaxing. Our season opens 5/15/2026 and ends September 20th.

1.5 acre plot located west of Port Townsend near Cape George and Discovery Trail. This forest meadow is a peaceful, private spot to rest and relax when you are not having adventures on the Olympic Peninsula. Perfect for RVs, Camper Trailers, Vans, and Tents!
The entire property is rented as a single camp site, so there is maximum privacy and solitude compared to a multi-site venue like Ft Worden State Park. Green Acre Camp is located in a semi-residential, semi-rural area of unincorporated Port Townsend, only 10-15 min drive to main restaurants, grocery stores, and attractions of downtown Port Townsend.
RV power pedestal with 30a, 50a, and standard 20a/120v plugs. Pack-in, Pack-out; there is no toilet, sink, or shower.
Large vehicles/trailers/5th wheels are welcome!
Enter the property on private dirt road connected to Hastings Ave and you may park anywhere in the upper field immediately on left when you enter the driveway. There is a locked shed that houses the well pump, and you can use the water spigot and hose. Water is potable lab tested.
Property is shaped like a triangle with Hastings Ave. There is tree cover along Hastings and shared driveway at bottom edge of the triangle. As you continue down the driveway a few hundred yards, you approach neighbor's fence and property line.
Main camp site is the “upper field” where there is room for parking and power/water connections. This is conveniently level with the main road and flat. There is “lower field” that is a trimmed grass field right corner next to the driveway, Finally the “back field” is large, grass field and a fire ring across the northern half of the property. The back field has an unused septic system underground, so we leave the grass and vegetation longer here to attract wildlife and preserve the infrastructure for potential future use. No vehicles allowed in back field.
In the middle of the property is a grove of pine and cedar trees with thick, native salal bushes and rhododendrons crisscrossed with paths created by humans and the local deer population.
Driveway is shared by neighboring property so wave and smile if our neighbors walk or drive out to the main road, and please be respectful of their property line and follow the local culture of 'live and let live'.

Bayview Alpacas is located on 10 privately-gated acres across the street from Padilla Bay, a National Estuarine Research Reserve. The Reserve protects one of the largest beds of eelgrass in the contiguous United States - nearly 8,000 acres.
Habitats found here support herring, smelt, salmon, flatfish, Dungeness crab, ducks, eagles, shorebirds, and peregrine falcons. Mammals found in Padilla bay include harbor seals and river otters. Located in the northern reaches of greater Puget Sound, at the saltwater edge of the large delta of the Skagit River in the Salish Sea, the reserve is eight miles long and three miles across.
The Padilla Bay Reserve is one of 29 areas in the National Estuarine Research Reserve System. The 11,966 acres-site is protected for long-term research, water quality monitoring, education, and coastal stewardship.

Only 8-10 mins into the heart of Port Townsend. As noted in the reviews before, the RV spit is right off the road and there is noise but we didn’t find it to be an issue.

We had such a great and relaxing time here. The site is wonderful and had full hookups. The animals are awesome to watch and interact with. The area is so quiet and peaceful. We had a great campfire going that the host made for us. We ended up having the whole area to ourselves, which was extra amazing. We will definitely be back!

Bathrooms are clean and well maintained, there is hot water you can use with no additional charge. Jill was very welcoming when we arrived. Overall we had a great time and would come back again!

I’ve been trying to book Alyssa’s Hipcamp for the past 2 years—our dates just never lined up, but wow, was it worth the wait! The site is spacious, well-equipped, and the view… absolutely breathtaking. The outdoor kitchen was a huge bonus, and getting to meet all the adorable farm animals was pure joy.
The campsite itself was fantastic, but the real highlight? The hosts. Alyssa and Chris are truly wonderful—warm, welcoming, and clearly passionate about making your stay special. We can’t wait to come back!

My young son and I had the most wonderful time here! Alyssa and family were so kind and generous, spending quite a while introducing us to all their fun farm animals! The property itself is clean, calm, and beautiful. The outdoor kitchen and fire pit area exceeded my expectations. Convenient to Bow/Edison, Padilla Bay and many many many other fun family activities. Will absolutely stay here again.

Beautiful spot amongst the trees to camp. Only downside is you are right off of a well travelled road so you do hear vehicles going by pretty consistently. Lots of room to play fetch with the dog - he loved it! If you are in a trailer (like us) could only park at the site closest to the road because the lower area was blocked off with logs. Water and power worked flawlessly. Even with the road noise, it’s sooo much better than a campground cause you have the whole space to yourself!!! Even got to see an owl!! Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at the lower group camp area and could have fit way more than just our 2 trailers. It’s a lovely wooded area with 2 picnic tables provided. There is a short walk up the drive to the restroom/shower building.
We enjoyed meeting Jill, she was so very accommodating and kind!

We really like our stay at Jill’s camp ground. We went on a Sunday night and stay over for 2 nights, with our 3 kids and international students. Jill and her husband are really welcoming and make us feel at ease. There was only one other camp taken. Camping is large . The bathroom, shower and kitchenette is really nice option.
We were surprised by the army aircraft training that come to disturbs such a quiet place. But nothing too annoying and only comes and goes few times, and it is kind of normal when being so close from the Naval Air Station.
