You'll see bald eagles, hear owls and watch deer pass through your camp. But you are only about a 5-10 min walk from town! This does mean you'll often hear music from events on weekend evenings, and plane traffic does fly overhead. Vashon is quiet and full of nature, but you're not out in the middle of nowhere! Our property is a bird haven, so if you love watching birds we get regular sightings of Hawks, Eagles, Sparrows, Robins and little peaks of the adorable Humming birds. Our bunny population has no issues reproducing and filling all our bushes with their cute tails. If adventure is your desire, we are located perfectly!
Mt. Rainier scenic drive can be enjoyed from either 401 or a short drive to the southern entrance. Passing through Elbe where you can stop for a nice bite to eat on a train at the Mt. Rainier Railroad Dining Co. or visit a car show in the small quaint town of Eatonville. There's a plethora of things to do from hiking to kayaking, fishing, scenic drives, memorable dining, buying local organic fruit, visiting the Northwest Trek Wildlife Park and so much more. We truly love our property and it's location and we're excited to share it with you.
NOTE: Please clean up after pets and do not leave your trash. We do not offer trash services here. If you see a trash bin it is most likely for storing our kindling. Please do not leave your trash in it. Pack it out with you. We maintain our property and clean the toilets once or twice a week. I'm more than happy to answer any questions you might have about your stay or local attractions.

We are a 5 acre working alpaca farm with alpacas, llamas, chickens, and sheep. We have lush green pastures with a garden, greenhouse, barn, and animal shelters. We specialize in agritourism and do tours, classes, events, and parties. We also have a darling boutique on site for all of your souvenirs and gifts. We are in the foothills of Mt. Rainier with skiing about an hour away at Crystal Resort. There are several state parks within a short drive including Flaming Geyser and Kanaskat-Palmer State Park. You can hike, kayak, or just enjoy a picnic lunch. The town of Enumclaw is minutes away with its darling downtown area that is fun to explore the shops and grab a meal or an ice cream cone.

Jim and Elona and so welcoming, the space is beautiful, there are two cats wondering around the property, and I can’t say enough about the bathtub. Check it out, it’s amazing.

An incredible stay! Our yurt was so cozy and warm despite the 26° lows! The community space was like an oasis after a week of backpacking, and the cedar hot tub was just icing on top of the whole experience. I could not recommend this spot more.

It's a very quiet getaway, but close enough to the city. The professional and friendly staff make it feel at home. The community house is stocked full of pots and pans and other baking utensils to virtually make anything you may be craving to make. I would definitely stay here again if needing a weekend getaway to destress myself.

This was a neat spot. Very cool to see all the animals and the hosts were very kind. Hook ups were reliable and ground in this specific site was level enough to only need one small block on one back tire.
Note for anyone visiting, this is a working farm, and when there is not camping in the pasture it’s used for animals. Poop was everywhere, like every 10 (or less) steps there would be poop. It’s alpaca and goat so it’s not wet or gross, but you’ll want to bring some boots if you plan to walk around the field much - definitely not a place for bare feet.
Would stay again, and keep this in mind for the future.

The views are vibe here are awesome. We stayed in camping spot #1 with our VW bus. The community room/kitchen is gorgeous and nicer than my kitchen at home lol.
Check-in was effortless. Compost toilets don't smell at all and there are many nice touches all around. The outdoor showers were a highlight. Very hot water also.
Would definitely come back and I highly recommend this place!

The lands of Camp MoxyJo's were such fun from vintage glamping trailers and camper vans to multiple kitsch-filled common areas for communal cooking, play & hanging out. Having grown up in the 1960s, I felt I was immersed in joyful memories of my young adulthood everywhere I walked on the Camp MoxyJo's grounds. My young grandchildren loved roaming the campground, feeding the goats, and being introduced to the art of darts--intergenerational memory making.

The campsite came with chairs, a picnic table and a fire pit. They had wood for sale and buckets for putting out the fire as well. The outhouse was clean and they had a spigot with well water nearby. Fern gully was so cute. I would definitely come back. I did peak at the other sites too and sun-kissed meadow was just so beautiful. Highly recommend.
