PET OWNERS PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING: Please declare any pets on the “Who’s Coming” page. We have noticed an influx of owners that do not let us know and show up with dogs as we need to go over additional information. There is no additional fee but since we have livestock roaming freely around the property, to ensure their safety, long leads are highly encouraged especially if dogs do not have exceptional training and recall. Thank you!
AMENITIES/THINGS TO DO:
-There is a communal bunkhouse on property available to guests with a flushable toilet and a hot water shower. It also includes a kitchenette and we welcome you to use any of the kitchen/cookware and appliances. Our 2 Frenchies also stay in this building but they love humans and all the attention you can give them!
-There is an infrared sauna that can sit up to 3 people located next to the yurt accompanied by a cold plunge as an add-on.
-You are welcome to wander around the entire property and grab fruit daily from the trees when in season or have us get you farm fresh eggs from the coop to eat for breakfast.
-Say hello to the animals (sheep, goats, chickens, cats and dogs) or go for a walk/run around the countryside roads with walking/running/biking adventures available to you along the beautiful and paved Foothills Trail extending from Enumclaw to Puyallup.
-Communal fire pit areas with picnic table and chairs available when fire ban is not in effect. We have a moveable metal one which we can transport to your camp spot if preferred. We sell a large milkcrate full of wood for $10 if needed.

-We are currently asking guests to pack out recycling. We can take trash and compost.
-You are welcome to bring your own firewood and make a fire in the communal fire pit as long as there is no fire ban in effect!

Keep to the left side of the huge lawn until you see the opening to a short trail marked with a green light post. Follow the short trail to my private dock and secluded beach.
Many water birds and other birds call this home. You may spot a great blue heron or crane as they stretch their wings for several minutes soaking up the sun. Keep an eye open for the bald eagles that have a nest in a tree at the shore.
Osprey and Bald Eagles are often seen soaring above, before diving into the lake to catch a fish.
The lake is stocked every May. The fishing is good here and the lake has a reputation for being especially great for Large Mouth Bass fishing. If you love to fish, then bring your fishing gear and pole.
End your fun day with a relaxing bon fire on the beach or at your campsite
Motorboats aren’t permitted on this lake, so it’s always serene and peaceful.
No lifeguards on duty here. Swim at your own risk. Guests must abide by the lake safety rules.

We had a wonderful time camping at the farm. Jenel and Khohay were super welcoming and we had some great conversations with them, as well as with Andrew and a fellow camper. The campsite felt super private and we loved spending time with the farm animals, along with their sweet dogs. The shared kitchen & bathroom had everything you could need and more (coffee, cappuccino mix, matcha, tea, spices, etc.) and the fresh eggs and plums were an added bonus.

2 nights at Ridgeline Retreat
This place is so incredible it was one of our favorite stays ever. Mary and her husband have such a special piece of land. The views are incredible, the tiny cabin is so cozy, the vault toilet outhouse is super clean and nice. They provided all materials we might need like towels, a space heater, soap, and Mary even drew us a bath whenever we were ready to get cleaned up from a long day of hiking (the bathtub / deck space is unreal). The driveway getting in is long and a bit rugged through the forest but it is totally fine if you just keep a steady pace and continue on. This place feels too good to be true and from the moment we got there we’re already planning a trip back.

Weekend Trip to Ridgeline Retreat
This place is what mountain dreams are made of. Tiny is full of simplicity and charm. Mary and Llyod are so welcoming and accommodating. I was a little chilly in Tiny and they brought me a heater, it made Tiny ultra cozy. I got the coffee and granola for breakfast and it was the best way to start my day of long hikes on Mt. Rainier. Tiny is located close to the Nisqually entrance to Mr. Rainier so if you wake up early enough, you can get into the park-no line, no waiting. I also made use of the outdoor baths, and the experience has ruined me for all other baths. There is nothing better than a warm bath watching the sunset behind the ridgeline of trees. I came for a weekend respite of peace and quiet and I found it. This is an experience I'll never forget, and hopefully will have a chance to do again!

Two Frog Bog was a really lovely tent site. We had the larger tent and it was plenty spacious for three tall adults. We listened to the other reviews and brought sleeping pads. The one provided was also fine and one of us preferred using it. We got a tour of the grounds from the owner when we arrived, including an introduction to the cats who are all so friendly. The bathroom and shower accomodations were nice, as was the outdoor covered kitchen area for the tent campers. It had everything we needed - towels, soap, all cooking needs, coffee supplies, running water. The surrounding area and view was beautiful. Lovely sunset each night. It rained the first morning of our stay and we stayed totally dry in the tent. We were there to visit Mt. Rainier and it was fun to camp and get the whole outdoor experience without having to bring everything with us. Not far from Yelm where there are grocery stores. Just bring flashlights, a lantern, sleeping pads, and briquettes for cooking. I also recommend bringing games or cards especially since there is a burn ban and you cannot have a campfire this summer (2026).

Weekend Trip to The Khohay Farm
My husband and I had a great time at the sweetheart cabin! Would definitely recommend. There is also a great outhouse in the back that they put a lot of work to make it cozy. The spot was private enough so we felt like we had our own little area of the farm.

Weekend Trip to Alder Grove Retreat
We had a lovely stay! The off grid cabin was well equipped and Dawson provided great instructions on everything. The sauna is well worth the upgrade. We would happily come back.

2 nights at Ridgeline Retreat
As a solo female traveler I felt totally welcome and taken care of staying with Mary and Lloyd. They build a tiny home near their main house . There is a private privy, no shower but the tub is amazing, literally amazing. Electricity in the tiny home but no frig. The host met me at the road, there is a gate to be unlocked and locked again (they gave me a key) and then it’s a gravel non paved road about a 1/2 mile to the home, so it’s not a place to pop in and out of several times a day. I was glad that I had sandals and a headlamp. I had a wonderful stay and slept with my car unlocked for the first time in decades. Honestly they couldn’t have been nicer hosts and went beyond to make sure that I was comfortable and taken care of. I’ll definitely be back.

2 nights at Ridgeline Retreat
We escaped the city for two nights at 'Tiny'. It was absolutely stunning and magical. We did not want to leave. It was so nice to just sit and listen to the sounds of the wind blowing in the trees in absolute quiet. We took advantage of a hot bath each night at sunset. An experience we will never forget. Beautiful! Mary and Lloyd (and their dog Leo) were so gracious and available if we needed anything. The cabin was cozy and comfortable, and the bathroom was sparkling clean (also with a view of the mountains). We will definitely be back, and will take advantage off the sound healing experience.

Beautiful location. The campsite was well planned, fairly spacious and quiet. Nice to have the amenities with shower (indoor and outdoor), hot tub and gym. Would stay again!

This was our first time using hipcamp. We were delighted at watching the mtrainierrailroad.com throughout the day because the property is right next to the tracks and we could literally see the train between the trees. We stayed at site 9 with our dog and big SUV tent. Things we loved: the starry nights, the bathroom with running water and sinks, the railing up the 4 steps to the bathrooms, the sturdy railing and steps down to the river, walking down to the river and watching the train, all the birds and chipmunks, the cutie resident kitty, all the shade of the trees at site 9, the shade umbrella at the picnic table, water & power hookups at site 9, the friendly yet nice vibes from the helpers/hosts when we caught site of them, and how the sites are really set up like a little park with a nice flat walk around for taking our dog for little walks. We liked all the wood sculptures but our favorite was the racoon. We spent a lot of time just chilling in our hammocks in the shade enjoying being away from the city and at night playing board games while listening to what I think were frogs/toads? Not sure if it was related to our very hot dry summer but there were practically no mosquitoes like I think only saw one. Thank you to our hosts!!

I would highly recommend this spot! The lavender fields and view were beautiful, the campsite was spacious, and there was a nice outdoor shower to use. The host was very friendly and answered all questions we had and made us feel welcome.

1 night at The Khohay Farm
Jenel & Khohay are incredibly welcoming and friendly hosts! They were very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed. We absolutely LOVED our time at the farm! It’s such a peaceful and relaxing place, and waking up to see the sheep, goats, and chickens in the morning made the experience even more special. It was truly an amazing and memorable stay. We only wish we could have stayed longer. We highly recommend their place to anyone looking for a peaceful and unique getaway. We would definitely love to come back!
