Tucked into four acres of forested property, Cascade Mountain Retreats Swiss Village offers you a peaceful camping experience with mountain views, forest trails, and natural ambiance. Enjoy a relaxing stay at in our dispersed tentnsites! There are multiple first come, first serve sites available and you're free to choose any of them that are available! There is a wooded trail that leads to the sites and there is an off road cart available to haul your belongs to the site you choose! Sounds of rustling leaves and a fresh mountain creek will lull you to sleep at night and don't be surprised to wake up to sixty elk in the field across the street!

Fern forest tent site

The fern forest tent site is nestled in an endless sea of ferns that cover the hillside. Listen to the creek flow and the animals playing while you enjoy amazing views of mountains and elk roaming the fields. The fern forest site is located about 50 yards up a small incline from the parking area but not to worry, there are multiple pull carts to help you carry you belongings to the site. If you're worried about getting your stuff up the hill please reach out ahead of time and I can plan to be available to help get your stuff to the site and then back to your car! There is a very nice pit toilet with hand washing sink. An outdoor shower is in the works and should be completed beginning of July.

We pitched our tent here overnight and enjoyed the location and proximity to mt rainier. The serene sounds from the pond across the street was a highlight.

Great people who have a beautiful spot. Very near to the park. The facility is being built and will be even more beautiful when completed. Each campsite has a nice view of the area. The disbursed camping sites are a bit uphill from the parking, but the wagon and owners were very helpful. (I had brought way too much gear)

Amazing stay, easy access to firewood on site, really well kept restroom, super responsive host. It was a beautiful spot and really appreciated my stay. It was really nice with the sites not super close.

Kendall's place was beautiful and decorated with charming string lights when we arrived. We had arrived late but Kendall made sure we had instructions on where to park etc. This was the perfect place to rest before our Camp Muir hike the next morning. The pit toilet was clean and well stocked. We felt safe and welcome while we were there. Wish we had more time there. Will definitely come back here and enjoy the beauty more in daylight.

Kendall was a terrific host - very friendly and actively helped us settle in. The yurt was comfy and the location was perfect. Short drive into town and to the mountain. 10/10 would recommend!

As a first-time solo camper (and female), I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Kendall was so kind and helpful, which immediately put me at ease. The site itself is easy to find, surrounded by gorgeous ferns, and felt both peaceful and welcoming. My pup had the best time exploring too. Highly recommend!

Kendall was very kind and considerate, he showed us around the property when we got there, and he let us (two teenage girls) know when other guests booked the camp. The space was very pretty and quiet. Close to the park! Would definitely recommend Kendall and his campsite.
