We are a peaceful, private, forested 6 acers that is 6 minutes to a secluded neighborhood beach with big mountain views and only 8 minutes to Alder Lake State Park. Our OFF-GRID location offers treetop views, a hillside cabin, wood fired sauna, and soon to include select areas for tent camping. We are just 15 minutes to Elbe's Whiskey Train. 30 minutes to Mt. Rainier National Park. 20 minutes to the grocery store in town that has cool restaurants and a great crystal shop. Local hikes are close, include gravel, paths, and waterfalls. 

Our property IS off-grid and collects rain for water and solar for electricity. We do not have WiFi but do have cell service. Potable water is provided in small quantities at each site. Fires are subject to local burn bans and property provided materials. All areas are walk-in and include wagons to transport any gear.

Our cozy cabin sleeps up to 6 guests and includes:
	•	1 main bedroom
	•	1 bunk room (perfect for little pirates!)
	•	A hide-a-bed couch in the living area

You’ll have a fully equipped kitchen, an outdoor grill, ceiling fans, portable heaters, and a wood stove that is seasonally available. The cabin has grid electricity, running water, and a weekly serviced port-a-potty. There’s also a refreshing outdoor shower for rinsing off after lake swims or treasure hunts.

We’re proud to be a low-impact, no single-use plastic property. You’ll find reusable aluminum cups and a large supply of fresh drinking water to refill your personal bottles—because pirates protect their waters, too.

Enjoy direct lake access for kayaking, swimming, fishing, or stargazing from the dock. Bring your pup along—well behaved pets are welcome!

This is a property that has been in our family for over 55 years.

It is at the end of a dead end road which ensures privacy and peace. It is a perfect place to unwind on the well maintained land

while still being able to access the many outdoor activities nearby and explore the cool historic towns of Centralia and Chehalis as well.

2 sites in an open field and 1 site in the trees just 10 minutes from I-5, but a world away from the traffic.&nbsp;Perfect for tent camping and overnight rests in most any&nbsp;vehicle. Views of the Willapa Hills on a well maintained property. Guests are greeted upon arrival. Check in before dark is required.

**New this season: We have transformed an old kennel into a cozy cabin! Sleep in comfort in a queen size bed and enjoy amenities like a cadet wall heater, microwave oven, Keurig coffee maker (with complimentary coffee, sweeteners and cream) and a wine cooler. A tv with an assortment of dvds is available for evening entertainment as well. The pups are welcome to enjoy the cabin and two kennel runs that are accessible from inside the cabin. The cabin opens up to 2 acres of well maintained and fully fenced yard around the main house which is available for dogs to explore. A composting outhouse is just steps from all of the campsites and the cabin. Potable well water and a communal fire pit, with wood provided, are also available.

Cole's Cabin on Anderson Island

Cute little wood cabin on a large, quiet lot, with covered porch looking out towards the water near the end of Cole's Point.  Gravity fed fresh water at the sink on the porch.  Inside, includes couch, queen bed, twin bed, fridge with chilled water, freezer, microwave.  Nicely heated in winter and stays cool in summer.  Sitting in comfy camp chairs on the covered porch can be magical during a spring rain.  Outhouse with nightlight and composting toilet.  Firepit with kindling and firewood in winter. (Summer fires are not allowed.)  Short walk to the beach to the north.  Short walk south to the edge of the Oro Bay as well.  Kayaks can be rented on island. (Not related to the host.) Multiple hikes / walks within Jacob's Point, Andy's Marine Park, and 7 other parks on island.  One wonderful little grocery store on island for fresh or incidental items along with one cafe, and one restaurant.  The historic Johnson Farm and Museum can be a great place to sample island life from 100+ years ago.  Pay extra for use of the twin electric bikes to ride the many quiet, scenic roads around the island.  These roads can take you to the hikes, the store, cafe, or sample the sights like the 1928 ferry "Ocean City" slowly sinking into the mud in Oro Bay.  There is often deer, hawks, eagles, coyotes, bunnies, and sometimes humpback or orca whales, all within sight of the cabin.  It's a great place to escape the hectic pace of the city and enjoy the solitude interrupted only by the sound of the birds, and perhaps the distant trains about 3 miles away.  Writer looking for a spot to focus on your next book?  Reader wanting to finish a good book?  Both are a perfect fit.  Dogs are welcome but cannot run free due to the native animals that call the area home.  The ferry is a 1 hour walk so cars are recommended.  The Steilacoom ferry to Anderson Island leaves from the wonderful historic town of Steilacoom which is also well worth visiting. Coffee Creek Community & Gardens

Coffee Creek is an intentional community and working farm on the north side of Centralia, Washington. While our 11 acres feels very secluded, we are just 3 miles from historic downtown and 10 minutes from the freeway and shopping. An accessible oasis!

There is a park with swimming, fishing and hiking along the Skookumchuck river within a mile of the farm, in addition to the natural beauty found right here at home. We enjoy bird watching, exploring our forest, and relaxing around a fire when we aren't working on the farm. 

Seasonal Strawberries and pastured poultry are our specialties, and we offer a wide variety of veggies and fruits. Farm fresh eggs are almost always available and we have organic meats to purchase and grill.

Horse Lovers Paradise

Horse Lovers Paradise is nestled in the beautiful Hazen Valley amongst Douglas Fir trees and a seasonal stream.  Here on the ranch we provide room for campers with Tents, RV's, remote Hillside Camping and a Cozy Bunkhouse Room.

You will find the ranch peaceful and serene.
 Our garden/event area is prefect for children to play or gathering for a visit.
There's firewood available which you may purchase here on the HipCamp site.

There are plenty of animals to love.  We have horses to brush, ride and feed. You may also see a dog, cat and free-range chickens. Did I happen to mention that we have a pet pig? Yes, Miss Piggy!!

We are all about the animals and hoping to create wonderful memories for you and your family.

The Arboretum at Bear Canyon West

This is a gorgeous park-like RV campground situated between the trees of the arboretum. NO TENTS, please. Also we have NO PUBLIC RESTROOMS. Beautiful view of the mountains and forests here in western Washington. We are close to Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Rainier and several lakes.

There are walking trails all around the site. The 12 acre campground is located on a 136 acre property that is an active Christmas tree farm. Trails continue throughout the tree farm.

Many trails have a view of the Tilton River, which can be reached via a challenging 3/4 mile trail. Sites are on 12 acres planted with many different species of trees that are about 30 years old. Giant Redwoods, Cedars, and Maples are just a few of the varieties present. Part of the farm is still a working Christmas tree farm.

The trails are wide and grassy. The old logging road that we use as a trail to the river has an elevation change of about 500 feet, the trail can be quite challenging. Bear Creek empties into the Tilton river at the end of the trail. 

There is an ART GALLERY where you can learn to pound flowers, see the host's artwork and get a cup of coffee! This is upstairs through the check-in entry-way. Tilton River Studio Gallery. 

Three sites have electrical hookups. Every site has a water spigot (use a pressure regulator if you want to hook up). No restrooms or sewer hookups. Garbage disposal site (dumpster) available Memorial Day to Labor Day.

WELCOME to Cowlitz River Rentals!
We offer some of the most beautiful scenery in western Washington. Here you will find the peaceful quiet of being "away from it all", yet in reality you are only a little over a mile from the local grocery store, restaurants, and gas stations along Hwy 12 in Randle.

We have 20 spacious sites on 70 acres, bordered by the  Cowlitz River in Randle, WA.  We are centrally located between Mt. Rainier, Mt. St. Helens, and Mt. Adams. Since we are not open for public entry, you can feel safe leaving your camp set up while you take day excursions.

We have dry camping ONLY.  There is a spigot for water at the gate, but no water or electricity hookups at any of the sites.

We welcome individual campers as well as groups.  Many of our sites will hold 20-30 people, all in one site area.  We can also accommodate much larger groups.... Let us know if you have a special group event.&nbsp; We can discuss your needs and see if our property is a fit for you. Reiki Ranch RV Camping

We were teaching Reiki (energy healing classes) by going on the road to hotels and seminars, but we wanted a peaceful place with a country setting to teach these training classes. We found this beautiful place with spring water to drink and lots of forest land behind our 22 acres, and we have been here 24 years. We are into natural/alternative healthy living and energy healing. We are good stewards of the land and will happily share it with you. We have a little creek that is spring-fed and runs year-round! There are numerous hiking trails, where a person can get a quick 25-30 min exercise going up and down the mountain trails. 

This is the entrance to the Reiki Ranch from the Bunker Creek Road. We are 5 miles out of Adna and Highway 6.

 We are conveniently located at the halfway point between Seattle and Portland.
 Centralia has a lot of recreational opportunities, plenty of shopping and dining.

With easy access off of Highway 706, it's a perfect spot to set up base camp for your outdoor adventures.  Hiking, climbing, fishing, hunting and off-roading are all just a stones throw away.  Enjoy the communal fire pit and potable water on-site.  A privy tent is available when Mother Nature calls.  Don't be alarmed if you wake up to deer or elk feeding nearby!
