I continue to try to be a good steward to this little piece of land with very big trees. One side faces my studio with drive through access to a bunkhouse and hookups and the other is tent camping with room to explore. With a dog yard available you will be able to relax and enjoy.

We had a great stay at Captain Awesome Campground. It's a fantastic location very close to the Yelm-Tenino trail and made for a really fun bike-camping adventure for a crew of several families. Shaneen was very responsive and welcoming, but we had lots of privacy. She answered all the questions I had prior to booking - and wrote back quickly. I highly recommend!!!

We had a very peaceful and relaxing stay at Sandy's property. We were lucky to get a very clear night for stargazing which was incredible, very little light pollution out there. There was potable water available and a bathroom, and lots of flat grassy space to spread out our tent. The tables made food prep easy, and there were some shady spots near large trees that helped us stay cool in the summer sun.

Lezli has thought of everything you could possibly need or want at her amazing place. We felt so pampered and relaxed during our stay. The place is immaculate and everywhere you turn is an unexpected surprise in the special details she has thought of. The view is spectacular, beds comfortable and cozy, shower was great, everyone loved the snack bar, and the outdoor kitchen makes preparing meals easy and was so well stocked. It was hard to leave and we can’t wait to return!

Our group had a great time! The host was super friendly and attentive. The site was a good size with a very clean portapotty. We loved having the string lights and gazebo. It was also nice having two types of firepits. Keep in mind it's in a neighborhood, but the drive to Lake Cushman was worth it!

This spot is great for groups. All the amenities were so thoughtful, from all the cooking supplies to charging stations for phones . It was super cozy when cold and raining outside, and had so many abundant outdoor spaces when the sun was out. We would highly recommend this spot!

5 of us and one dog really enjoyed this spot! Another room for all the activities. Plenty of fireplace spots. Thank God for the canopy because it rained allllllll weekend. So we had our propane fire, the chairs and just hung out. The guys went diving at lake Cushman! Porta potty was pretty clean. Only thing was you do have houses on both sides of you and golfers drive by but it wasn’t bad. We really enjoyed this spot! Also, the pulling in was nice for the camper but we weren’t sure if how to get out besides backing out up the small hill so make sure you’re good at doing that ha!!

Weekend Trip to The Kings Cottage-Adventure awaits!
I cannot recommend this place enough!
We chose this cabin for a romantic and restorative get away, and it did not disappoint. We had three adults but the property could have easily and comfortably accommodated a family or extended family; there were so many private sleeping places. There were so many amenities and unexpected touches not in the listing, things like supplies for rock painting, adult coloring books, and a very diverse library. We were able to take advantage of the sauna, outdoor shower, fire pit, and outdoor kitchen as well as the indoor wood burning stove. Everything was SPOTLESS; huge shout out to the housekeeping service. Even the outdoor couches were clean somehow!
Lezli, the host, was a radiantly warm and friendly person. You can tell she built this property from a place of deep love and care, with her own big family in mind. She was wonderful about guiding us up the logging road and showing us how everything worked. It is very remote and the drive is unpaved, but your reward is complete peace and quiet. She was always quick to respond before snd during our stay.
Lezli, thank you so much for sharing your magical land with us for the weekend. We can’t wait to come back!

Sandy's backyard is spacious and lovely with flowers this time of year! It had everything I needed; the indoor bathroom is nice and having an outside sink close to the camp site is convenient. At certain times of day the road noise is noticable, but at night it turned quiet and the singing tree frogs took over.
With great value for money, I highly recommend this spot for animal-loving campers!

Absolutely lovely. Lezli thinks of everything that you might need to have a relaxing, peaceful break from the city.
Views are beautiful -- especially the one from the sauna -- and the grounds are maintained with an eye for native plant life and preservation of the forest.
