There is a communal firepit as well as a solo stove for use by either site. There is a flat grassy space for outdoor games and near all the major attractions without being in a busy area. (In some of the pictures you will see the horses in the area of the camp, but whenever there are campers they will not be turned out there.) There is 20 amp electric (which can safely power a 30 amp rv unless you run too many things at once) and water (hose). There is a porta-potty and a shower shed with a tankless water heater for your convenience. We also offer the option of a small bunk room in the barn. Heated and cooled (fan) with a small "kitchen" area, it has a pull out futon which sleeps 2 and requires you supply your own bedding and towels. 1 Hour to Mt. Rainier National Park. 1 1/2 hours to Olympia National Park. 2 1/2 hours to Mt. St. Helens. 1 hour to Seattle. Close to Puget Sound and loads of nature spots. Local hiking and fishing aplenty. Our property is surrounded by nature, yet only a 5 minute drive into town where you will find charming shops, restaurants, cafes and coffee houses. There is also a fabulous movie theater. And only 15 minutes to the Red Wind Casino. There is a railroad track next to the property, but it is only used on Tues. and Thurs. between 10 am and 1 pm when a short train passes by and then returns. Rarely, it may have an additional passing but not often and it has never run after dark or early morning. (It is a military train so pretty punctual). (Also, as we are only a 5 acre property, we are close enough to roads that you may hear some traffic. They are county roads though and not highly traveled for the most part.) **Trigger Warnings: We are near the military base of JBLM and so you will occasionally hear their military doings. Country neighbors occasionally do some target practice, so you may hear some shooting. As we are a horse property, we will also require that everyone sign a release of liability waiver and will require all adults to show legal ID upon arrival. * We require a completed profile with a picture before we accept a booking.

Absolutely loved our stay on Nelda’s land. It was perfect for what we needed, we needed a place to park our van for a few days with a power hookup. Nelda’s property has beautiful trails in the back that we enjoyed walking our dog on. Definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful experience staying at Traci and Khris's property. All the communications after we made the reservation were clear and directions and instructions simple. Traci was there to check us in and help get set up. The property is beautiful and quiet with horses and chickens nearby. We stayed there in our travel trailer while doing a kitchen remodel nearby but look forward to going back when we can relax under the beautiful trees around the firepit! Definitely recommend!!

This was our first voyage with our teardrop trailer. Scott’s camp was perfect for us — away from the city and very peaceful, but not difficult to find. We stayed at Site 3 and really enjoyed the view of the meadow and trees. Felt very safe. And the outhouse, hand sink, and solar shower were wonderful to have right there. Weekend Trip to Lost Valley Farm Camp

My son and I went camping at Site 5. There was a bouquet of flowers on the table, drinking water, and rinse water provided. My son loved the hammock. Fire wood was provided and we had great campfires. We took the farm tour and loved it. We also went to the swimming hole that directions were provided for and had a great time. Galilee and Brent spent some time with us, and Brent showed my son the cool swings that went way out around the tree and helped catch him. We loved it experience and look forward to going back next year!

The location of these sites are amazing. Easy access to the beach and main road in town. We stayed under cover but the other site wasn’t booked so we had the place to ourselves very spacious and all the hook ups were easy and worked perfectly. Quiet area. Would recommend to anyone.

3 nights at Pacific Shores Hideaway.

We had a wonderful time here. The camping area was very private and I like that it was gated. The grounds were nice, surrounded by trees and bushes, so it felt like being in your own private park. We were the only people there the first night, and the couple who came for the rest of the weekend were very nice. All the hookups worked fine and it was really nice to have them. It was a healthy walk to the beach, but you could hear the ocean from the camping area. It’s too bad there was a burn ban, because we could have had our own campfire, but there was also a covered communal fire pit that looked very inviting. Elisa obviously worked hard to make it such a nice place to camp, and we will definitely go there again.

3 nights at The Hoopla

The campsite (#4) was secluded and right next to a beautiful path that led to the ocean. The kids had a great time making structures with sticks. Great variety of shade and sun, which in the night offered great night sky views. There was even a place to hang our hammocks. The rooster could use a lesson in evaluating the brightness of the sky before he sounds off, but we knew what we were getting into with chickens nearby. :)

5 nights at Pacific Shores Hideaway.

We LOVED this spot!!! We were fortunate enough to have it all to ourselves for the full stay. It’s private, quiet and in a great location. The dog had the full run of her cord and we were able to let her off to chase the ball some as well. You can drive out on the beach from the main road very close by. We would absolutely camp here again if we’re ever back out this way. Thank you for sharing the great spot! The owners do have security cameras on the property.
