Walk or ride to all the charm of Downtown North Bend (0.7 miles), The Snoqualmie River (0.5 miles) or The Snoqualmie Trail (0.5 miles). Close to Rattlesnake Lake (6.5 miles) and a huge variety of hiking trails. The farm is regularly visited by elk. During the spring and summer there are usually cows, chickens (including a rooster), cats, and two working dogs on the property. The campsite is private, located on the far side of the pasture, next to a seasonal creek (dry in the summer). A lovely place to get away from the hustle and enjoy the outdoors, while still accessing great eateries and activities.

The mountain starts at 600 feet elevation and climbs to 1600 feet. Very peaceful and remote yet you can see Seattle and Mt Rainer. In the Fall/Winter of 2023-2024, we have spread millions of wildflower seeds. We are very excited to see the results in Spring 2024. As I will spend over $60k a year fighting blackberry, cottonwood, red alder, and Elk to get our forest established in the next few years, your contribution by staying here will 100% assist with helping the trees. There are 9 different secluded campsites on the mountain. All the sites can be used to host parties of up to 150 people (we have done it several times). The issue to consider is traffic. For large parties, we ask most people (usually car people) to park below on Green River Gorge Rd (there is a large county pull off) and then load into the back of trucks for the drive up the mountain. It is a one lane road, so it could get congested if 100 cars drove up it. One retirement party rented a bus for running people up and down and a porta potty at their site for guests. I am very happy to assist with party planning and setup if you have a wedding or retirement or business party. (or anything else) Boy and Girl Scout troops and Explorer scout units are welcome to camp free (when doing unit camping). Site 4 would be best for large troops.

Welcome to The Landing at Index - located on the South Fork Skykomish River, in the western foothills of the Cascade Mountains, off of Highway 2. With 16 acres of beautiful, private woods and breathtaking views of Mt. Index, this is a wonderful getaway to kick back and relax after your day of adventures, or just to escape the city rush. The campsite is at the bottom of a rugged drive so an SUV or AWD vehicle are recommended, especially during the wetter seasons of Spring and Fall. When the property was logged approximately 100 years ago they scooped out gravel from the river to make their roads in the area thus creating the back eddy lagoon along the beach. The Department of Fish and Game have a fish ladder at Sunset Falls just upstream and BNSF railroad owns the large vacant tract down stream.A rather peaceful setting, including the rushing sound of the river and the occasional whistle of a train. You will feel refreshed and rejuvenated after you stay at The Landing.Pets are welcome, there is a toilet on site campfires allowed (when burn bans are not in place).

Curley Creek Canyon

A remote island, naturist beach and kayak at the creek. Parking is limited. Guests love it here: "We stayed two nights at Curley Creek Canyon and loved the experience! Jerrett was a wonderful host and met us upon arrival with great recommendations of places to explore on his beautiful property. The camp sites are clean, private, and have fire pits, and benches provided. We took the roped trail down to the creek (bring gloves its a bit steep) and saw large groups of salmon swim upstream. This time of year is magical with the dropping leafs and lush moss/fungus sightings. Highly recommend if you're looking for a quick getaway from the city to connect to nature. Thanks, Jerrett for the experience and look forward to our next visit!"

McMurtrey Farm

Larry and Dolly McMurtrey purchased the Delveccio farm in 1975 next door to this farm. The farm offered an exciting new venture after retirement. The McMurtrey's had many fun and unique ideas. They purchased truck loads of scrap glass to resell as fish glass, which is still seen today in the parking lot. They grew bamboo and sold imperfect veggies that farmers were going to throw away. Eventually they landed on Christmas trees. To expand their ventures, they leased this land for many years then eventually sold the Delveccio land and purchsed this farm in 1998. Today, Larry and Dolly's daughter and son-in law, Jana and Pablo Sifuentes have grown the family business to provide wonderful memories to the community during the holiday season. This year the farm is again offering a pumpkin patch in September and November and planting some sunflowers and dahlias. We are excited to see where the future of the farm takes us and thank the community for their love and support.

Deep lake is four miles from our house as well as Kanaskit State Park with a river. Mt Rainier is about 45 minutes away. Mt Peak, 1000 ft hike, is 4 miles toward Enumclaw from us. Learn more about this land: Tent, trailer 29 foot maximum length, 29 foot Motor Homes, Sorry, spot for backyard camping. Forty feet from our home separate room with fridge, microwave and bathroom with cotton towels, individual hotel hand soap with shampoo and conditioner, two sinks, shower with a claw foot bath tub, seven foot long, bathroom might be shared with other guests. Cleaned after each persons use due to Covid 19 and just because we are really clean hosts. Campsite faces a Christmas Tree Farm and cows in a field. Blueberry Farm across the street. Traffic noise as Veazie Cumberland is a main two lane road 100 feet from camp. Two parks within four miles. Four miles from the town of Enumclaw. We have a 3 or 8 person tent for rent, a double cot or air mattress, sleeping bags if needed as well all at reasonable rental prices.

This camp site is very private and peaceful! We will be open from May 1st through September 30th, 2024. The site can accommodate up to two RVs or 3-4 tents depending on the distance apart. We allow up to 6 people per booking. The firepit and the Snoqualmie River are about 150' away from your tent or RV. We have a porta-potti at the camp site. Pets are welcome at our HipCamp, but we do require that you clean up after them. Near North Bend there are several hiking/biking trails including the trail up Mt. Si., Si View Park, and the Rattlesnake Ridge trail system. For shoppers, we have shops in town and the Factory Outlet Mall. For dining, there are several restaurants in North Bend. PLEASE NOTE: CHECK IN TIME: 2:00-5:00 P.M. Our rate is $70 per night. We ask all drivers (cars, RVs, trailers, etc.) to back into the campsite. This will make for an easy exit. Thanks!!
