When we purchased this property it was covered with black berry bushes, we did not even know what might be underneath when we started to clear it. At first we just wanted a garden but the deer ate the blueberries so we planted pumpkins. They were a success, in fact one year we gave a pumpkin to each Beach School kindergartner. Later on we decided to set it up as with RV hook ups for our friends and that is how we got to where we are now. We love to share Lummi Island, it is a special place and we added the tag "Beach, Bikes and Hikes" lots to do on Lummi so bring your bikes, kayaks, walking shoes. Park your camping trailer or RV, water, electricity, both 110 and 30 amp service, sewer (septic hook up) are ready for you. We have a propane campfire for evening campfires but you will need to hook up your propane to it. Once you're set up, start exploring. The beach, blizzard trail, ride your bike, bring your kayak or just sit back and take in views all the way to Canada. Lummi Island does have a grocery store, near the ferry landing, two restaurants, no gas on Lummi, however the store does sell propane. There is two restaurants on Lummi Island the Beach Store Cafe, moderate prices but only open Thursday thru Sunday and the Galley usually open Wed thru Sunday. The best part of Lummi Island is the tranquility, kick back and enjoy fresh air, beach walks, outstanding sunsets and quiet nights. Pets OK, please pick up after pet and have a leash.

The parking area was perfectly level for my van and clearly marked, making arrival smooth and stress-free. Quiet, serene, and surrounded by the gift of trees—this place felt like a sacred pause. The music of the ocean lulled me morning and night… truly magical. I took the walk around the peninsula and it was such a soul-nourishing treat. And the deck—oh, the deck. My morning coffee and evening reflections will never be the same. It’s a space where time slows down, and gratitude rises up. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful, beautiful retreat into nature.

This campsite is a gem. Well cared for with stunning views of the sea and colourful sunsets. Access to the beach is a few steps across the road. Sounds of seabirds and the occasional fog horn background music. Our host was exceptional in providing for our comport and suggesting points of interest in the area. We biked daily and returned the friendly waves from passing motorists. Island time became real…with the tides replacing a clock. Will we return? You bet! Would I like to keep this spot a secret? Double yes!

This spot has been on my list for a while now and knew I had to make it out for at least 1 night this season. So glad I did! Originally planned to pitch a tent but last minute decided to car camp. Love that both are an option here. The set-up and views were amazing but the one thing I’ll never forget is that sunrise!

Another fabulous stay at Samish Bluff. This time we stayed two nights and like several reviewers, settled into quiet and picturesque "island" life. We watched several low tides creep out and back in, heard our first loon, and watched a researcher gathering shellfish to test. This is a place for you if you're content with walking, eating, views, napping, and sitting by the fire pit. Rocky beach available at low tide.

Just what we needed to relax. Large grass area with, fire pit, chairs, picnic table and dock to access lake. We did lots off SUP and swimming. Dogs enjoyed the freedom and swimming in the lake. Host was super nice and responsive.

We returned for our second stay at this fun hip camp. We have enjoyed our daily bike rides around the island. Folks wave as they pass. We stopped to watch the reef net fishermen and learn how that is done. We shopped the farmers market and then picked yummy ripe blackberries along the fence at our camp. Our hosts are amazing. So friendly and helpful. We even did a quick dip in the water! But quickly returned to basking in the sun on the Sandy beach. We will return often.

Weekend Trip to Eden West (New) Skagit River
We had an amazing stay at Dan’s spot on the Skagit River! The site fully met my expectations while traveling with our camper, and the river itself far exceeded expectations. We spent hours just sitting riverside watching our daughter and dog play, we found a great local spot to float the river, drove about 40 minutes for an exciting whitewater rafting trip, and spent a beautiful day at Lake Shannon just 20 minutes away. There was a Grocery store with everything we needed less than 10 minutes away. The property felt truly special — peaceful, scenic, and exactly the kind of place we were thrilled to spend time at. I also appreciated the security cameras on-site. There are at least 4 cameras on the property, which could bother some groups, but for us it just gave us peace of mind knowing the property was under surveillance when we were away and leaving all our equipment. Dan was quick to respond and very kind. We’ll definitely be back when we’re ready for our next “river fix”!

Great spot! Tons of room, beautiful location on the river. The outdoor kitchen was amazing. The raised fire pit under the canopy was great as well. We had a group of 8 and there was tons of room for games on the lawn. This would be ideal for a group of folks with RVs. One heads up - there is no bathroom facility here. Other than that, tons of amenities & I would definitely consider coming back.

Our group really enjoyed camping at this beautiful lakefront site. It was lovely to wake up to a view of the water and surrounding hills. We had fun paddle boarding and kayaking on the lake. We appreciated having the space all to ourselves. Picking some of the most delicious blackberries on site was a bonus! The only downsides to the site were a porta potty that needed servicing and some frequent noise from a power washer and other equipment being used by the host.

Relax and enjoy the privacy and beauty of our 10-acre secluded property. The property is a mowed, open grass field surrounded by forest. Camp sites have a view of an eagle's nest (two young eagles are in the nest right now!) and our six-hole frisbee golf course. Frisbees are provided and only campers and the residents use the course. Camp sites include a raised 12' by 12' tent pad, picnic table, space for one or two vehicles that can be parked near the forest or in the field, and use of a porta-potty (cleaned regularly and pumped out weekly). Potable water is located from a spigot in the pasture. Choose from three camp sites: Eagle Eyrie, Owl Hollow, or Hawk Nest. Sites are roomy enough for RV campers and ideal for a private Pacific Northwest getaway. Our property is in close proximity to downtown Bellingham and downtown Ferndale (only 5 miles north or south) and all the delicious restaurants, live music, and parks they provide; but is nestled into a pastoral refuge. Seattle is 1.5 hours south and Vancouver is 1 hour north. Free water and sewer dump are available at the Lummi Market, within one mile of the house. Property owners, Kim & Jeff, live onsite if you have questions or need anything; however the camp sites are tucked away such that the camping area is entirely separate. Property is accessed down a long gravel driveway on the east side of Rural Avenue, just across the street from a log cabin/house. A yellow "Rural Rodeo" sign is located below the mailboxes adjacent to our driveway. Please keep an eye out for our address #, as some of the mapping systems have you drive past our driveway. The driveway extends past a large barn. Keep right on the driveway at the "Y".

Our 28 acres are located in between maple falls and glacier, Wa, directly on Mt Baker Hwy on the way to Beautiful Mt Baker. The remainder of our land is breathtaking pacific northwest forest that is boarded by the Bay to Baker trail. We provide wagons in our cart corral area to make it more convenient for the very short walk in. ( no more then a 200 foot walk in) We have a beautiful cedar grove to enjoy for lounging and picnics. The Bay to Baker trail borders our property, so it is just steps away and includes a 45 min round walk to a quaint little waterfall (maple falls). As well as a nature loop trail. You can also walk the other direction on the trail over a boardwalk. This direction walks along the back of the farm and allows you to see the veggie fields from a distance. Yofu can continue on the bay to baker trail for a nice walk. There is a conservation area, just a quarter mile drive down the road. With access to the Nooksack river, that includes several nice swimming spots and a couple nice walking trials. Silver Lake is just 3.8 miles away. It has a great recreation area, fun for the whole family. Just a heads up , you will probably lose service on your drive up here. But you will get service back when you are here. We suggest putting the map in your phone before you leave. Google maps will take you just past the farm, and apple maps will stop you too soon. When we purchased this property it was covered with black berry bushes, we did not even know what might be underneath when we started to clear it. At first we just wanted a garden but the deer ate the blueberries so we planted pumpkins. They were a success, in fact one year we gave a pumpkin to each Beach School kindergartner. Later on we decided to set it up as with RV hook ups for our friends and that is how we got to where we are now. We love to share Lummi Island, it is a special place and we added the tag "Beach, Bikes and Hikes" lots to do on Lummi so bring your bikes, kayaks, walking shoes. Park your camping trailer or RV, water, electricity, both 110 and 30 amp service, sewer (septic hook up) are ready for you. We have a propane campfire for evening campfires but you will need to hook up your propane to it. Once you're set up, start exploring. The beach, blizzard trail, ride your bike, bring your kayak or just sit back and take in views all the way to Canada. Lummi Island does have a grocery store, near the ferry landing, two restaurants, no gas on Lummi, however the store does sell propane. There is two restaurants on Lummi Island the Beach Store Cafe, moderate prices but only open Thursday thru Sunday and the Galley usually open Wed thru Sunday. The best part of Lummi Island is the tranquility, kick back and enjoy fresh air, beach walks, outstanding sunsets and quiet nights. Pets OK, please pick up after pet and have a leash.
