Beautiful views, you're right along the river. Sufficient space for several tents, a group of six went and multiple cars. The hosts were very accommodating. At times we had some miscommunication around the dogs and some of the expectations. Be sure to let the host know you are bringing a dog(s). The first to arrive needs to walk the grounds with the host. There's a nice setup for the bathroom and dishwashing and kitchen provided. We ran out of firewood pretty quickly and you'll be responsible to buy more of that. We would choose to camp here again. Even saw a bald eagle! Great fun floating down the river.

Sunshine Daydream Riverside Camp
We had a great stay at Don & Siara’s place. Such a beautiful little spot along the river and so close to so many great outdoor activities. We were surprised with how many amenities are offered at the site. They had a portable cooking stove with propane & all the essential cooking tools. Having water from the hose was great! Pet friendly, very clean porta potty, plenty of dry firewood, cute string lights and tiki torches. This was our first time testing out our roof top tent with our Tesla and having the electric hookup was a huge plus as we planned to drive up to Mt. Baker the next morning and charging stations are scarce. We will definitely be planning a trip back - can’t wait to see what new additions are added in the future! Thanks again, guys!

We loved staying here. The host was very nice and came out to help show us around even though we got there late. They gave very detailed directions and were very responsive before and during our stay.

We loved the campsite!!! Above and beyond would recommend and plan on going again! The host gave extra detail to site and super nice! Fit 4 people, 4 small dogs, 2 tents, 1 truck,1 car,1 van. Asked for extra parking and site. Host was great to work with!!

Great camping site. Loved the access to the river. They had a nice bathroom and “handwashing” set up - clean and easy to get to. We had two tents (a 4 and a 6 person) and two crossover SUV style vehicles and had plenty of room.

Great campsite! My friend and I fit both our one person tents easily. Access to a clean porta potty not too far from site complete with extra essentials from Don and Siara, and steps away from the river. Great starting point for many hikes about an hour away up Mount Baker hwy. Will definitely keep recommend and keep in mind for future bookings!

Absolutely beautiful location to tent camp... even in the rain! We enjoyed watching all the flying eagles in the distance and upclose in the evening. Don & Siara are super friendly and great hosts. Clean community porta-potty, hand soap, hand sanitizer, a welcome cooler and more were provided. They really go above and beyond. Great location to stay at for Chain Lakes Loop, Artist Point etc. Must check out Racehorse Falls and North fork Brewery in the area. Looking forward to staying here again!

Very cool spot right on the bank of the Nooksack. Great view and nice flat spot for tent camping. Amenities were as described and more! A few things that rubbed me the wrong way: When I booked, the description suggested that there was one camp site, and that we would have privacy. (a major selling point for me) The morning of our trip, they told us there were other campers right behind our spot, and that they would ask them to move to another site a bit further away. I looked at the description, and they had changed it to mention another nearby site available, and deleted any mention of privacy. The other campers moved, and we only saw them in passing a few times, but I was bothered that they advertised it as a single site, and then changed it without notifying me until the morning of. Also, I took my two leashed dogs for a quick walk to see if there was any kind of loop or trail, and I ran into a woman (Siara, I assume) with a leashed dog. She immediately snapped at me saying I’m not allowed to be there, this is their private area, and to leave immediately. There were no signs or mention of trespass boundaries besides the neighbors on the other side of the property. Don came to apologize for her hostility, and was very cool, but it still was a bad look. Lastly there are surveillance cameras. One pointing directly at the camp. Probably something you should mention in the ad. Otherwise, we had a good time and enjoyed our time there.

Highly recommend this camp spot on the Nooksack. Camp sites are on the tributary with river access right from your site. The grounds are stocked with firewood, fire pit, a propane grill, porta potty, and cleaning supplies. Just 25 mins from Bellingham, hard to beat!

The location was amazing! River access was so cool, and there was plenty of space for 2 4-person tents. The only thing I would have liked to see different was this:
This site is the only area for river access, and we had other campers come into our private site for river access. I would like to see a separate access for other campers, since it felt a bit awkward having others come and go thru our site.
The tiki light canisters were all empty, which was no big deal since it was only one night.
Otherwise, we had a perfect time! The lights were super cool and porta potty was convenient. We will be back and can’t wait to see the changes that will be made in the future!

Such an awesome site with a close bathroom, close river access and beautiful views. Shady grove site was nice and shaded and had privacy. Everything was clean and set up wonderfully. We will absolutely be back.

Amazing Riverside Site!

Amazing experience! Communication and directions were clear. The site was beautiful and has easy access to the river. Siara and Don were very friendly and answered the phone when I had a question. A nice fire pit, power, water and a great bathroom setup made it super comfortable. I’ll stay there next time I come up that way.
