We have had a 40' motorhome and a 30' camp trailer able to maneuver in the space. Road is usually good May-Oct. Nov-March would need to stay put until melt and AWD and snow tires are mandatory. The owners live onsite and handle all snow maintenance and keep the road accessible for a normal work schedule. Our home is visible from the space about 50' away. Included water, internet, septic and power. Such a wonderful camp site, nice and private with just a few neighbors around. It felt like living there and was so beautiful! Really close to the river and a nice central location for lots of great hikes and things to do. Michelle was super responsive, helpful, and friendly. We saw the weather report for this week and spontaneously booked a campsite nearby Skykomish River. We were only able to book on the app 24 hours in advance, but Michelle responded right away and was able to modify our reservation so we could check in the next day and enjoy the beautiful weather for our entire stay. She was also super informative regarding what to expect for our dog(s), and also gave us a much needed reminder to bring a portable toilet. Great communication from this host. The river is down the street from the campsite. There are 3 river access points that we found. One spot by the road barrier is deep and wonderful for adults to swim. It's mostly rocky and steep in the areas easily accessible from the street where the campsite is. We enjoyed exploring the island across the river. If you can manage to get your kids across, (I just set them on an intertube and swam them across instead of walking in the shallow rocky parts) keep walking to the south side of the island, there's a very secluded sandy part with very little currents and is kid friendly! This area was very dark during the night which was ideal to watch the spectacular meteor shower. We really loved the clear turquoise waters, and gorgeous night skies the most. Thanks Michelle!

Very cleanly kept. Beautiful grounds. Really close to town but we still felt that disconnect from society and the daily grind and the chaos that can come from Chelan. They have a little market on the grounds that has fresh produce at very good prices. We will definitely be staying there again.

We loved our stay at the Sappy Hallow. It is nice and private with convenient sanicans, sink and portable water. The river access is awesome. The downhill to the river is very manageable with river call and stunning views. We stayed with another couple and their daughter, was a perfect spot for two small families and dogs. It's clear a lot of attention and care was put into making the property accommodating.
