Our property is located approximately 18 miles west of Leavenworth and approximately 17 east of Stevens Pass. The property is 4.65 acres that includes a park that we created. We can accommodate RV's (up to 30 feet), camper trailers and tents. There is a 30amp hookup available and access to portable water. Good food and great beer go hand in hand throughout the summer in Leavenworth. Leavenworth offers delicious authentic German food and traditional German beer. There are some great breweries in town and wine tasting opportunities if beer isn't for you. Visit Lake Wenatchee State Park which is approximately 5 miles from Bear Acres. The lake is surrounded by mountains and is an excellent place for fishing, swimming, boating, and hiking. Explore Icicle Creek, which is not only a beautiful area to explore but offers a range of trailheads to various hiking trails. If you're really feeling adventurous, try hiking the popular and beautiful Enchantments. Whitewater rafting on the Wenatchee River is one of the most popular things to do in Leavenworth. The peak season is between May and June, while you’ll find a somewhat more relaxed experience throughout the rest of the summer. Nestled in the Cascade Mountain Range along the Pacific Crest Trail, summertime at Stevens Pass is full of activities. Welcome to The Landing at Index - located on the South Fork Skykomish River, in the western foothills of the Cascade Mountains, off of Highway 2. With 16 acres of beautiful, private woods and breathtaking views of Mt. Index, this is a wonderful getaway to kick back and relax after your day of adventures, or just to escape the city rush. The campsite is at the bottom of a rugged drive so an SUV or AWD vehicle are recommended, especially during the wetter seasons of Spring and Fall. When the property was logged approximately 100 years ago they scooped out gravel from the river to make their roads in the area thus creating the back eddy lagoon along the beach. The Department of Fish and Game have a fish ladder at Sunset Falls just upstream and BNSF railroad owns the large vacant tract down stream.A rather peaceful setting, including the rushing sound of the river and the occasional whistle of a train. You will feel refreshed and rejuvenated after you stay at The Landing.Pets are welcome, there is a toilet on site campfires allowed (when burn bans are not in place).

Our well is powered by solar panels and batteries, the outhouse is a biogas system which has a hand pump for flush, and utilizes human waste to produce methane and fertilizer. The methane is then plumbed to a single burner in our kitchenette and can be used for cooking or boiling water when enough methane is present! Booking this hipcamp is supporting sustainable living and development! :D If you like nature, there are many features for you. From hiking to biking, off road access, hunting, or wildlife viewing, Derby Canyon offers it all. Enjoy a day in Leavenworth, the Wenatchee River, mountain bike trail, or a hike in the mountains. Though most of the area does not receive cell phone service (I have Verizon) we do get service at this site. Located about 5 miles off the county road, cell service will fall off for the first 4 miles, however most people will have service at the site itself. Please PRINT or DOWNLOAD the directions I will email you for OFFLINE use! For now we are offering this site as a private escape campsite to enjoy the depths of nature in a serene setting. Wood fires are not allowed but we do have a propane firepit available for use free of charge - bring your own propane!

River Recreation's Basecamp

We have a small area, but most of it is shaded and right by the river. Learn more about this land: Come camp near the river at a fully-functional whitewater river rafting basecamp!! Our group-style camping area is great for small groups of people or small, two-somes too. We have a total of 4 spots,; 1 is suitable for 2 large, or 3 small tents, 2 are suitable for 2-averags-sized tents, and one is a small tent spot only. Camp spots are next to each other, so not alot of "Wild forest-camping" here. We refer to it as urban camping. Please be aware that there is some traffic noise here, as we are close to Highway 2. Weekend camping is limited, and you may hear the occasional train whistle. WiFi and fire pit included as well as on-site port-a-potties. There is a large communal firepit, but no individual camp firepits, with the option of bringing a propane stand-alone firepit. Small fires only in June, fire ban starting July 1st due to wildfire concerns. No smoking and children are OK as long as they are kept under control. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are spacing camps out more, we have a foot-operated handwash station, and 2 hand sanitizing stations. Per the CDC, we are unable to offer any potable water to anyone this year. Our camping area is somewhat small, does NOT have grass, but area has bark. Please be ready to be respectful of our neighbors and other campers by keeping your music to a low-to-medium volume. Please bring photo ID and a credit card to complete our camper registration form with. In addition, we are a river rafting company, so we may not have anyone present when you show up - don't worry, we are probably on the river and will be back soon! *** Please message before booking to insure we are a good match***

As you pull of the main middle fork road you take your first left down to our gated property. Plenty of turn around space to back in your trailer or rig into each of the 5 sites. Easy access to the Teanaway Community forest tons of outdoor adventure. Hike, Bike, Fish or even can ride your dirt bikes, snowmobiles, or horses all within minutes or just off the property doorstep. Property is over 4 acres, in a great location. 1.5 hours from Bellevue and 10-15 minutes to breweries and eateries in Cle Elum. Property is cross Fenced and was setup for horses. We now use these separate pastures/pens as campsites. You enter property through shared driveway with main home (double green gate). This home is our vacation home and Airbnb and not shared use for campers. The 3 pens/corrals in the center are for individual (1 vehicle) RV and Tent camping, fully fenced in for your furry friends to be off leash and relax with you. These each only accommodate 1 vehicle or 1 vehicle with trailer. The northern pasture ( furthest left as you pull in) is for group camping use (charged per vehicle, please only book if you have multiple vehicles) and the Southern most pasture ( far right as you pull in) we are keeping with the ranch spirit and letting equestrian lovers rent, but also for groups (please only book with multiple vehicles or if you have horses). The three main/central RV/tent sites are over 100' long and 50' wide. Center site , #2, is 9' wide cattle gate you can pull in your trailers, vans or vehicles into. Most campers are 8', so you are threading a bit of a needle, go slow, but if I can do, anyone can :). Best for camper vans, short trailers and similar. Site #1 and #3 have 18' wide double gate entrances and easy for anyone to reverse into. Recommended for folks with slide outs use #1 and #3 sites so you can get distance from the fence easily. Know/Measure your vehicle before you book. Potable water is readily available throughout the property with a total of 2 drinkable water pumps along the fence lines. It is hard water, so be prepared for a mineral taste, but nice and cold. Blue jug by fenceline is for putting out camp fires before you leave/go to bed or just filling up your dogs bowl. Please put back and secure to pump with cord provided after each use. We are a pack out what you pack in camping experience. NO trash cans, NO restrooms or hookups of any sort. You MUST be self contained. You can attach your hose to fill up your RVs and trailers to the pump, but not permanently during your stay. It is a shared service. Please be respectful of your neighbors and quiet hours are after sunset or after 10pm, whichever is first. Please keep dogs leashed if crossing the vacation property to go for a walk. In your fenced in campground pets are free to roam at owners responsibility and discretion. Do not leave animals unsupervised. Welcome to Barn Valley and Enjoy the wonderful Teanaway Valley! The Little Cabin in the Woods

Totally private, the property sits on a acre surrounded by undeveloped forest. Huge old century-old cedar stumps litter the surrounding woods and you'll see where loggers in the early 1900's cut into the sides to place their springboards. The trees surrounding the property today are mostly fir and alder. The 16'x20' cabin sits tucked back against the forest, looking out with territorial forest and mountain views of the Cascades. Outside you'll find a firepit with chairs and a picnic table for your enjoyment. Off to the side you'll also find our tidy and clean-smelling outhouse. Inside the cabin you'll be surprised at the roominess and open feel given the cabin's dimensions. A counter with sink hides all of your plates, utensils, pots and pans. An L-shaped dining nook seats 3-4 comfortably. Across the room you'll find wonderful wood-stove for those chilly nights, and a pull-out sofa to relax on. A wide ladder leads up to the sleeping loft where you'll find a double -sized (full) futon bed tucked under the window looking out toward the mountains. Given the cabin's size, it is best-suited for couples - though it is possible to sleep 4 with the pull-out sofa. There is a nice flat tent-site at the cabin as well. Maximum occupancy is 4 guests at the property at any time. Please note, this is an OFF-GRID cabin with NO ELECTRICITY or RUNNING WATER. You're welcome to bring a portable generator to plug into our lighting system. In the Spring/Summer we have a rain barrel that may provide limited water to the sink for washing only, NOT for drinking.
