Across the road from our campground there is a trail leading to a beautiful and peaceful spot on the river . In the town of Marblemount there are two gas stations that have a wide verity of supplies for you every day adventures , two restaurants both serving amazing food or you can head east to the beautiful Hwy 20 North Cascade pass leading you to the historic town of Winthrop.

On a better note, This property is a Native American homestead. We are located in Marblemount, WA along the Cascade river. Every site we have you can hear the river and walk to in less that 5 minutes. There is an amazing rocky beach along the river with the view of mountains all around. We are located 4 minutes from the town of Marblemount were there is 2 gas stations with some food and drink items, propane and a small hardware section year round. Marblemount has 3 restaurants open in the summer. The town also a post office. We are 15 minutes from the North Cascades National Park and an entrance to the Pacific Crest Trail. We offer fire wood ($5.00 a bundle), propane fire pits ($10.00 a night, please request ahead via messaging to Heather ) and in season vegetables (price varies depending). You can pay cash or Venmo on site. Please be aware that we have a Firework show for the 4th of July. We really appreciate your interest in our small homestead.

The property is bordered by national forest and the river making nice and secluded but still have close access to the local store on the Mount Loop Hwy . There are three campsites by the river that can sleep 4 guests each and a fourth site that is larger and can sleep 8 guests all have river access with a nice beach . There is one composting toilet on site but no potable water. There are two popular trails nearby, Heather lake trails is 4miles away and Lake 22 trail is 1.7 miles away . There is no cell service or phones on site. No potable water, or electricity. The perfect unplugged get away.

Weekend Trip to Greenstone Farm Camping

My husband and I enjoyed staying at Greenstone Farms. The farm and the view are quite beautiful. We had fresh eggs for breakfast which was lovely. The horses visited us before headed home. The restroom was very clean and nice and had a heater which was nice since it was raining the night we showed up. We would have stayed longer but my husband wanted his recliner for the Mariners playoff game. I didn’t foresee that obstacle.

This camping site was very clean, well set up and a beautiful location. We used it to stay at on two nights before and after a hike. It was so convenient to be just off the highway. The noise quieted down for night and it was very peaceful sleeping. We had a great fire, enjoyed the picnic table and being in the trees. Clean bathrooms and shower as well as a water spigot. All around great experience. Kodie was so helpful and easily accessible by message.

3 nights at Cascade River Retreat

We had the whole place to our place during our stay which was fantastic! Host was great to give us privacy. Awesome base-camp for North Cascade adventures. My pup and I enjoyed the river, easily spent our time there after our hikes. We had a visit from an offleash husky on 2nd day morning (not sure if it’s the owners). He was quite friendly and got along with my pup well (something to keep in mind if your dog does well with other dog). 3rd day- he came back early morning-we were still asleep, but saw peeping his head through the mesh opening. Again, we didn’t mind-but he also urinated on all corners of our tent-which left us with heavy urine smell-I did manage to wash it off afterwards, but smell did linger on our tent. Other than that incident-place was quiet & peaceful (again we were the only one there). Site 7 is the most private, 8-10 is next 1-6 is more open.

Host was very easy going and responded to my questions immediately. It was a little noisy with the highway, but if you are comfortable with it, it is a beautiful space very conveniently located close to the National Park. The bathroom and shower elevated our camping experience. Unfortunately, the shower remained lukewarm, but in their defense it got very cold overnight and it may have needed more than a few minutes to warm up. I loved the layout of campsite #2! I would recommend.

Beautiful site. It was so lush and green. Bathroom, shower and water so close. Perfectly situated between a charming town and the NP. Also a great place for anyone traveling solo. You cant see the host but they are close enough that you feel safe!!
