The parking lot is behind trees, approx 50 ft from the main road which has regular daily traffic and noise driving by at the top of the site. It quiets down after work in the evenings. Dogs bark because they are dogs, but when you go deep into the forest you can barely hear the road or the dogs. The parking area can only be located there, in order to maintain the ecology of Ames Creek.
The entrance is down through either of two driveways from the main road, on a horseshoe loop drive-through, to the L-shaped parking lot. Tent camping is 4 to 6 total soft pads in the forest near the parking sites. Note: Ames Creek does dry up in mid-summer.
For large RVs maneuvering skills are required to park on the level 23 ft long parking pads in the parking area down the hill from the road. It is a U-shaped drive-through, flat at the bottom of the small driveway hill.

Everyone who sees it remarks that this forest is beautiful. It has a main trail and many small pathways between ferns and hillocks. In an effort to preserve and protect this wild habitat, we have already planted 200 + Western Red Cedars, Douglas Firs, salal, snowberry, native current, and other native vegetation.
This is a great private spot for an RV or similar vehicles and 2 tent circles.
A firepit, and porta-potty next to each pad, another firepit in one of the 2 tent circles for each RV parking pad site.
A completely natural untouched Pacific moss rainforest about 30 miles inland on the foothills of the Mount Baker–Snoqualmie National Forest in Washington State. Some areas it is likely no one has ever walked on.
Bring mosquito repellent. Be aware of kids and dogs near road entrances, as well as near the creek in the winter.
It is located near major fun sites, it is a wilderness playground!
Ames Creek dries up mid-July and returns in Sept/Oct. There are a lot of little paths crisscrossing the creek, likely raccoon and deer trails.
We are happy to have your dogs visit - they will love it!
Please remember to bring an extension cord to access power.
There are fire pits. When possible firewood is provided gratis in the woodshed. There are bundles of wood for sale at the Ace Hardware store in Carnation.

This location is near U.S. National Forest extending more than 140 miles along the western slopes of the Cascade Range from the Canada–US border to the northern boundary of Mount Rainier National Park.

10 acre homestead on the outskirts of downtown North Bend at the base of Mt. Si. Breathtaking view of the mountain, peaceful pastures, amazing wildlife. Walk or ride to all the charm of Downtown North Bend (0.7 miles), The Snoqualmie River (0.5 miles) or The Snoqualmie Trail (0.5 miles). Close to Rattlesnake Lake (6.5 miles) and a huge variety of hiking trails. The farm is regularly visited by elk. Hollow Tree Campsite is private, located on the far side of the pasture, next to a seasonal creek (dry in the summer). Jake's Corner is more open and located on the westside of the pasture. The terrain boasts a slightly sloped, rocky shoreline, providing direct no-bank access to the water for activities such as swimming, paddle-boarding, boating, fishing, and sunbathing. Please be aware that the site does not have utilities or hook-ups, embracing a rustic getaway experience.
It can accommodate two tents and up 4 adults or up to 6 people with children comfortably.
On-site amenities include a firepit, picnic table, trash can, sun umbrellas, camp chairs, Adirondack chairs, and floaties for your enjoyment. Additionally, a honeybucket is available in the parking lot for your convenience.
Please note that the boat lift and on-site cabana are not available for camper use. There is no electricity so please be prepared to bring your own lighting. (There is a set of string party lights at the site that utilize solar power and click on at dusk automatically). Various chairs, paddle boards, tents and other items shown in images may belong to guests and are not all included in the rental. Please inquire if you have any questions regarding specifics of what is included.
No parties, group events or gatherings. Bookings are limited to small groups and single family camping trips. The maximum guest count for the site is 6 people including children or 4 adults. All guests (day or night) must be included in the reservation headcount.
Parking is conveniently located along East Lake Sammamish Pkwy in the Inglewood Hill Parking Lot, and the site is accessed a couple of blocks away via a staircase along the E Lk Sammamish Pkwy Trail.
We recommend bringing a cart or folding wagon to haul gear from the lot to the site if you’re not packing light.
**The structure in the image is a cabana currently being used for storage of personal family belongings. No one will be accessing or staying in the structure during your stay.
There is a security camera installed on site. This camera is not monitored during guest stays but is used to monitor the property for security purposes when there are no current or active reservations.
There is a family that keeps their boat on the lift out in front of the property, who may access their boat from time to time, and uses the South end of the site for access. This should be minimally disruptive, if at all, as they only use a small portion of the site for ingress/egress to their boat.
Please note that Lake Sammamish is located in an urban area. This is not a remote lake or location, and as such, there are frequent boaters on the lake, active recreation on the water, and neighboring properties that occasionally have occupants, as well as the potential associated noise that comes with these things. Unfortunately, we cannot predict or control these things. That said, the vast majority of mornings at the site are very quiet and peaceful.
You may notice small pieces of glass on the beach. These are beach glass— hundreds of them wash up every winter. We pick up the ones we spot but they’re hard to see a lot of times. Either way they’re almost always dull as they’ve been worn down by the water and years of being washed against the rocks. **

This camp site is very private and peaceful! We will be open from May 1st through September, 2026. We have a 3 night maximum stay per booking.
The site can accommodate up to two RVs or 3-4 tents depending on the distance apart. We allow up to 6 people per booking. The firepit and the Snoqualmie River are about 150' away from your tent or RV. We have a porta-potti at the camp site and also two picnic tables. Pets are welcome at our HipCamp, but we do require that you clean up after them. Near North Bend there are several hiking/biking trails including the trail up Mt. Si., Si View Park, and the Rattlesnake Ridge trail system. For shoppers, we have shops in town and the Factory Outlet Mall. For dining, there are several restaurants in North Bend.

This 4th generation grass valley floor at sea level includes views of Mt. Baker & Rainer. Surrounded by retired culinary herb fields and planted cow corn to the west. Our family has lived and worked this farm since 1912. Originally the fields were used to grow peas (1940's), dairy (1950-1960's), black angus (1970-1980's), hogs & dairy replacement heifers (1990's) & fresh culinary herbs for the grocery stores (last 20 years).
Every year our fields flood and hold at least 3 feet of water, hence we only offer seasonal camping. The property has held events from town picnics in the 1930's, hoedowns in the 70's and a traveling circus in the 1980's. It is perfectly located 1 minute to Duvall and 25 minutes to Redmond. Easy access to Woodinville, Monroe, Carnation, Fall City, Snoqualmie & North Bend.

Weekend Trip to Bumbleberry Woods Camp
We loved staying at Alison’s yurt. It felt like a zen little house with adorable rugs, beds, lights and some furniture. The covered kitchen was well equipped and even had a sink with rain water and it was so nice to not have to bring our camping kitchen. The host was super responsive when we discovered something we needed. The bathroom was a great setup too with a sink to brush your teeth and you can tell they poured a lot of love into making this nice. So many thoughtful touches. The area has a lot of wild animals, bears (one spotted), deers, chickens, and rabbits. The location is wonderful as a hub for recreation and we will be back! Next time we might bring a mattress for a softer sleeping surface. The ones they come with are ok for most but I need more as a side sleeper. It’s a little bit of a walk from the parking to the yurt. Keep that in mind when packing. We could have used a warmer comforter for sleeping (something the host is aware of and addressing). Overall, we were super pleased with our stay.

This was a very spacious RV site, there was enough space for me to pull through, around the site and out with my 20 ft trailer. I loved the fire pit, the nature sounds and the view of the moon at night!! My cats loved looking at the lil goats. It was very peaceful and a much needed decompression time. Thank you, I would totally stay again!!

loved this little glamping/cabin, it was a perfect escape. the cabin had all the essentials to cook breakfast and dinners. s'mores on the deck at night, and the private dock and lake during the day were fantastic. neighbors are very close but that did not bother us one bit. can't wait to come back, this is a rebook spot!

We had a wonderful stay and truly appreciated Country’s hospitality. Communication was clear, friendly, and thoughtful from start to finish, and it was obvious they genuinely care about their guests’ experience. The farm was well maintained, comfortable, and easy to enjoy, making our time in Duvall relaxing and stress-free.

Alison’s land was absolutely beautiful! It was so nice having the camp kitchen so we didn’t have to bring as much camp equipment. We loved that there was chickens on site! The outhouse was also really nice and we LOVED the sink foot pump. This is a great spot especially with a big group since the camp sites are close together

Weekend Trip to Bumbleberry Woods Camp
The yurt experience was truly wonderful and extremely comfortable. The patch of woods is lovely and encourages exploring. The host Alison was super responsive. The bathroom was surprisingly charming and the host provided extra things you may have forgotten like none other I've visited before. A highly recommended experience wether you want to pack less or are a beginner at camping. It's extra bonus being so close to Seattle.

Wish it was longer!
Kid friendly, and dog friendly. There is a trail right next to the cabin so people on bikes or walking dogs. It's a wonderful little slice of summer vacation. I would love to return again with my family. There's also a river about 5 minutes up the road with a cute pizza place called Cascadia. Drive into property is also not too bad on a non 4×4 car (Kia soul). I highly recommend a stay here.

Quite a lovely experience, and honestly exceeded my expectations. Host is very kind and communicative, the cabin was clean and comfortable, and the site itself was very cozy. Really appreciated the lighting and fire pit. Even the outhouse was spotless. Wonderful little retreat, grateful for the experience.

Cedar River Retreat keeps getting better every time I return! Brittany is constantly making upgrades and improvements to the property. There are string lights up along the path from parking to the site, a new fire wood structure, and Adirondack chairs. The new and improved outhouse didn’t smell horrible and make me dry heave like all other composting toilets! 😆
Driving in good traffic, it takes me 45 minutes to get to CRR from Seattle and feeling like I’m camping at the foothills of the Cascades.
Brittany is so responsive, communicative, and helpful! It’s clear that she hosts out of a love for the property and wants to share it with folks.
