Nice spot to spend the night when passing through the area. Sheri was helpful with our late(r) arrival and ensured our spot would still be available. We appreciated the heated bathrooms just a short walk from our site. The RV park is next to the highway, but we weren't bothered by any noise at night.

Found this place same day and very happy we did!! It is more so set up for rvs but we had no problem setting up our tent to camp. The host was so accomodating and called us before to check in with us and after we left. Super close to Chelan which is what we were looking for. Definitely would stay here again.

This was such a magical stay for my spouse and I! Sunset paddle boarding, cozy chairs to have coffee in the morning, private access to the lake and lots of adventure and wildlife near by! We hope to stay again soon!

Weekend Trip to Daisystation

My son and I had a great time here. The hosts were great - super flexible with the fact that we didn't show up until about 9pm. They waited up to show us around. The next day, they were gone and it was just me and my son in the cabin, enjoying the lake for the whole weekend. There is some noise from vehicles driving by since the property is just off the road, but it's a secluded part of the state and it wasn't bad enough to cause any problems at all. I do recommend bringing a fan if you're visiting in the warmer months, but it cooled down enough at night that we had no problems sleeping. On top of that, the night sky was perfectly clear and the Milky Way was out in all its glory. I would definitely stay here again.

Weekend Trip to Spirit of Camping

This is a pretty spectacular spot with awesome views of the dam and Lake Roosevelt. We were there for 3 nights, my girlfriend and our three dogs to relax and really take advantage of being on Eden Harbor and maximizing use of the water on our SUPs. I could best describe this spot as "rustic glamping". Meaning it's best if you come equipped with all the practical car camping things: power cords with 3 prongs, your own means of shade, etc. We did so it was quite the comfortable stay. Bring LOTS of water as there is no access to any. Access to the water and beach below is ok, meaning there is a trail down but anyone with mobility issues would have problems. Eden Harbor is amazing and absolutely great for swimming. There is a public sandy beach just across the harbor you can paddle to, and there are lots of rock formations you can jump off into the clear waters. We would definitely come back here.

We loved camping here! My friends and I camped in tents on this property and while it was more set up for RV’s we still had an amazing time and the views were amazing. About a 20ish minute drive to lake chelan. There’s not much service but there is a super cute phone booth that actually works!! The hosts were so welcoming and sweet, and responded quickly with any questions. We will definitely be back :)

This place and his wonderful host is so wonderful that it’s absolutely worth making not only a detour but also add it as a target. The mountains and its views are very special and you have an amazing view. We would love to come back – but next time for a longer stay. It’s the perfect spot. This is one of the rare places that is BETTER than the pictures! More like a nice hotel suite with a kitchen. Comfy extra wide bunks for my two teenagers and a private bedroom for us. So many thoughtful little touches—cool lamps, toiletries, and you don’t have to go outside for the immaculate bathroom. It’s in an RV/bunkhouse resort, so you walk or drive a bit to recreation. We were there to see the Grand Coulee—spectacular free night light show at the Dam and the turbine tour in the morning. (Free.) I include the picture of the view from the back bedroom because, while it may not be everyone’s cup of tea, it’s very much mine. I was there to show my kids the immense scale of inland industrial infrastructure. There were decoupling trains in the early morning and my 17 year old and I watched the engines—and the deer—and talked about what it took to build American civilization, from the silos to the trains to the dams. It turned philosophical. Absolutely loved it and will be back.

Our annual salmon fishing trip with friends was made even better this year thanks to our stay at Rock Garden! From the moment we arrived, Chris was incredibly hospitable & kind, truly going out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. This spot is a dream – a convenient 5-minute drive from the dock in Pateros which meant more time fishing & less time commuting. But what truly set this stay apart was Chris's incredible generosity. He even provided access to a freezer in his shop for us to store our vacuum-sealed salmon! This was an absolute game-changer & shows just how much he cares about his guests. The sites are well-maintained with plenty of room & the location is perfect for exploring the area. If you're looking for a comfortable, welcoming, & perfectly located spot, especially if you're in the area for fishing, look no further. We can't recommend Rock Garden & Chris enough – we'll definitely be back next year!

We were super happy to have found Native Pines! We had been boondocking our way through Washington but, when temps approached 100F, we decided we needed some A/C and a breather. While all the sites are 30amp only, it was still sufficient for keeping our big rig cool enough, and we were happy to have sewer to be able to do some laundry. The sites are nestled into a pocket in the woods behind (but out of site of) a motel. Our 44' fifth wheel had plenty of room to maneuver within the property as well as fit into one of the back-in sites. It was peaceful and within a 7 minute drive to a beautiful, riverfront park (Roosevelt National Rec Area on the Columbia River) where we did some paddleboarding. And, you can't beat the rate of $35! Thank you John and Michelle!
