Though not one acre in size (please note that the HipCamp app requires a minimum selection of 1 acre), our cozy spot offers a unique lakeside experience. Parking is conveniently situated a couple of blocks away, and the site is accessible via a walk-in/walk-out path connected to the East Lake Sammamish Trail.
The terrain boasts a slightly sloped, rocky shoreline, providing direct no-bank access to the water for activities such as swimming, paddle-boarding, boating, fishing, and sunbathing. Please be aware that the site does not have utilities or hook-ups, embracing a rustic getaway experience.
It can accommodate two tents and up 4 adults or up to 6 people with children comfortably.
On-site amenities include a firepit, picnic table, trash can, sun umbrellas, camp chairs, Adirondack chairs, and floaties for your enjoyment. Additionally, a honeybucket is available in the parking lot for your convenience.
Please note that the boat lift and on-site cabana are not available for camper use. There is no electricity so please be prepared to bring your own lighting. (There is a set of string party lights at the site that utilize solar power and click on at dusk automatically). Various chairs, paddle boards, tents and other items shown in images may belong to guests and are not all included in the rental. Please inquire if you have any questions regarding specifics of what is included.
No parties, group events or gatherings. Bookings are limited to small groups and single family camping trips. The maximum guest count for the site is 6 people including children or 4 adults. All guests (day or night) must be included in the reservation headcount.
Parking is conveniently located along East Lake Sammamish Pkwy in the Inglewood Hill Parking Lot, and the site is accessed a couple of blocks away via a staircase along the E Lk Sammamish Pkwy Trail.
We recommend bringing a cart or folding wagon to haul gear from the lot to the site if you’re not packing light.
**The structure in the image is a cabana currently being used for storage of personal family belongings. No one will be accessing or staying in the structure during your stay.
There is a security camera installed on site. This camera is not monitored during guest stays but is used to monitor the property for security purposes when there are no current or active reservations.
There is a family that keeps their boat on the lift out in front of the property, who may access their boat from time to time, and uses the South end of the site for access. This should be minimally disruptive, if at all, as they only use a small portion of the site for ingress/egress to their boat.
Please note that Lake Sammamish is located in an urban area. This is not a remote lake or location, and as such, there are frequent boaters on the lake, active recreation on the water, and neighboring properties that occasionally have occupants, as well as the potential associated noise that comes with these things. Unfortunately, we cannot predict or control these things. That said, the vast majority of mornings at the site are very quiet and peaceful.
You may notice small pieces of glass on the beach. These are beach glass— hundreds of them wash up every winter. We pick up the ones we spot but they’re hard to see a lot of times. Either way they’re almost always dull as they’ve been worn down by the water and years of being washed against the rocks. **

We are a 20 acre tree farm in the making on beautiful Whidbey Island. The property is rough graded with lots of areas to explore. Close to town for supplies but quiet, and crazy stars at night. We have cleared two of the cedar groves on the south side, and they are perfect campsites. The sites are 75'-100' apart, more private than a state park, but close enough that a bigger group would feel close.
Portable Toilet is on site 100' from the Big Cedar site. May through October
Cedar Hallow- Our original campsite, sports a hammock, a picnic table, a fire pit, a good area for 2 tents, probably 6 people. The site has huge cedar trees all around so it's filtered sunlight most of the day, & warm in the summer!
Big Cedar- Our bigger site. Equipped with a fire pit, a picnic table, hammock, and space for 3-4 tents, probably 12 people comfortably.
There is a dirt road that circles the property, it's great for walks and animal viewing but can get muddy in the rain so be prepared.
Parking is a gravel lot directly across the little dirt road from the sites. Unload at the site then move to parking as to not block the road.
Trucks with campers can pull tight to a site but don't pull into a site please, obey standard fallen tree limb boundaries.
I keep a large water tote on-site with hose water for washing dishes or boiling.

Situated between Suquamish Clearwater Casino and The Point Casino with so much to do in between. Short drive to downtown Poulsbo and Point No Point beach. You can rent a kayak or board and enjoy the sound. Great fishing, crabbing or just beachcombing! Short walk or bike ride to North Kitsap Heritage Park.

We are looking for an RV interested in a longer stay. The cover picture is the location available. There is a private fenced in area just for the RV use. The main yard is open for use. There's also a large garden bed available. Mowing and light weeding would be needed. Electric and water available. No sewage available. Just a couple of minutes from the i5. Five minutes to Everett or Lake Stevens.

1 night at Simple Roots Ranch
Absolutely beautiful property spread across over four acres, with swings, private forest trails, a gorgeous garden, and a cozy, secluded campfire area! My boyfriend and I booked the Potting Shed at the very last minute, but we were still welcomed with the most amazing hospitality. The campfire was already started for us when we arrived, and they had everything we needed to make s’mores! In the morning, we were treated to freshly baked blackberry muffins, fig jam, and fig leaf tea (all grown from their garden!) and received tons of great recommendations for exploring the town. Every little detail made our stay feel so special, and we couldn’t have asked for a better getaway. We would absolutely love to come back!

The barn stay was so unique. It exceeded expectations. The sauna felt amazing on a cold night and the bed was cozy and warm. The host greeted us upon arrival and was friendly and helpful. Loved it!

This quiet, grassy and forested section of Traisa’s property was perfect for us. We felt away from the city but in fact were just a very convenient 6 minute Uber ride to Chateau St. Michelle. Highly recommend this camp spot!

We felt so lucky to find this campsite on Whidbey island. To find a secluded private campsite on the island is like a needle in a haystack, they maybe 2 total!
April and Randall were awesome host. Our site had everything we needed for our teardrop and was in a great location to the Port Townsend ferry. FYI, the island is bigger than we thought.
It was a tight fit for our teardrop being pulled by a full size truck but we made and had an awesome stay.
There is a bit of road noise in the mornings and evenings but was super quite the rest of the night which is when we were there most.

We absolutely loved our stay at novelty Hill Farm. The beautiful land was a pleasant experience and it was so nice to see all the different flowers, crops, and an adorable brand new baby cow. We also appreciated the access to an outdoor shower and the fire pit that we used every night. Thank you very much!

Great private space for van/car or tent camping. Great outhouse and so close to town and restaurants. They do have a couple large dogs that ran down to camp barking a couple times during our stay which made our pups uncomfortable but they were easily shood back to their home. Could be a problem if you have a territorial pup or are scared of large dogs.

This property is a grass field and we were on our own. Didn’t see anyone until the last day when we were leaving. It felt cozy and nice and close to downtown Snohomish where we had all our events.

Weekend Trip to Simple Roots Ranch
We absolutely loved this Hipcamp. It was our anniversary weekend. The first night, it was my husband and I. It was a lovely romantic retreat with the grounds, lightning and a cute cabin to be cozy in. Our second night our 5 and 7 year old joined us. They loved it too! The kitchen was perfectly stocked with the necessities for cooking. We ate most meals out as the spot was only 10 minutes from the cutest town with great food. We made brioche French toast the morning with kids and they got to explore the gardens picking some blackberries to spread on the French toast. The s’mores set up, shared you basket for kids and jam muffins were a great touch. Even with rain, the space was perfect to read books, make outdoor breakfast and explore the grounds with raincoats. I suggest bringing easy to put on shoes to maneuver to the restroom in the middle of the night. I will be adding this spot to my faves list!

Very expensive for absolutely no services. They advertised shower and toilets but neglected to mention they were like two city blokes away. The pot a potty that was closer was filthy had not been dumped all summer and no toilet paper. The only upside was it was private because you are basically alone in a field. Would not recommend.
