You'll want to bring your own shampoo and conditioner, but I think that was the only things I noticed I'd want. They even had firewood for us, no extra charge! David, his wife, and everyone else that helps maintain the property were SO sweet and welcoming. Seems like it would be a lovely place to stay in the winter, so thats when I'd like to come back! 5 stars all the way for everything here, the thoughtfulness of the cabins, the cleanliness, the readily available kitchen and the hospitality. If needed, you can walk up to our yard where the sky is a little clearer to make a phone call or send a text. A completely natural untouched Pacific moss rainforest about 30 miles inland on the foothills of the Mount Baker–Snoqualmie National Forest in Washington State. Some areas it is likely no one has ever walked on. Bring mosquito repellent. Be aware of kids and dogs near road entrances, as well as near the creek in the winter. It is located near major fun sites, it is a wilderness playground! Ames Creek dries up mid-July and returns in Sept/Oct. There are a lot of little paths crisscrossing the creek, likely raccoon and deer trails. We are happy to have your dogs visit - they will love it! Good location to nearby destinations: vineyard, distillery, nature walks. A great halfway point to break up driving during our trip. Host was communicative. Site was an easy pull in and pull out. We were looking for ease and it was.

This is a sweet place. Bathrooms are wonderful. The community kitchen and all they provide goes above and beyond. The tents look pretty awesome as well. And if you live off tossing it is a dream.

Everyone was very kind and helpful. The pull thru RV spots have no shade but were perfect for us newbies. Enjoyed the dock and amenities. Check out the trail behind the lodge too!

Weekend Trip to Forest Van Camp

Very quiet and secluded spot in the woods. Must be self-contained, carry-in and carry-out. Nice additions include fire pit, chairs, picnic table, pet enclosure, and a forest pathway to a rustic lean-to. Whidbey was pretty quiet the weekend after a long 4th of July weekend.

Weekend Trip to The Glen - Olympic Peninsula RV

This was our first time staying at The Glen and we LOVED it. We will definitely be back. Friendly, helpful staff with very clean, well maintained facilities. During our stay they had a limited supply of fresh cinnamon rolls in the morning from a local place and they were the perfect way to start our day. The indoor hot tub, showers, and bathrooms were all super clean and well stocked. The back in RV sites offer full hook ups and ours was by the creek which was lovely to listen to during the day. The grounds were surprisingly quiet, even though it was almost full. Everyone was very respectful and friendly. They have a wonderful trail along the creek through the forest, which we really enjoyed. On Saturday night they played the classic Willy Wonka movie on the lawn and had popcorn for everyone. Overall, this was a memorable stay and we cannot wait to go back.

Jana and Pablo made us feel completely at home. Enjoyed a walk to the neighboring farm to pick up some local produce, and we really appreciated the wonderful landscape of flowers, and Christmas Trees as far as the eye could see. Would definitely stay again the next time we are in the area- Thanks!

This was there perfect place to stay for the 4th of July. Beautiful views, a clean and well kept camp site, and excellent communication by our host Jeff were just a few of the reasons we enjoyed staying here. Access to the neighborhood boat ramp and all of the nearby recreation activities were added bonuses. If you need a place to relax and enjoy some time near Port Ludlow this is it.

Cindy and Robert were absolutely awesome! They put a lot of time and hard work into their property and it shows. Power water, and sewer. Deer coming into the campsite. A nice quiet place to sit back and read a book.

The directions given were easy to follow. Once we got to the driveway there were "tent" symbols and lights guiding the way. We enjoyed the private camping sites pocketed in the trees and watching the bunnies eat grass. This was a very relaxing peaceful place to land.

We camped for 3 nights at site E. The sites are clean and well leveled on gravel and the property was quiet, well maintained and deer friendly. The owners home is on site and they are friendly and helpful if you need them but also non-intrusive. With full hookups this was a good place to base at for exploring the area!
