We just spent a wonderful weekend at this private campground about 30 minutes from Ocean City, MD, and it was exactly what we needed — a peaceful nature retreat with all the right comforts! The property perfectly balances rustic charm with modern conveniences. We loved having access to clean, well-maintained bathrooms and incredibly hot showers that felt like a luxury after a day outdoors. The owner was fantastic — super friendly, flexible, and genuinely helpful with anything we needed. It made our stay so much more enjoyable knowing we could reach out easily. What truly made this place special was the adorable animal crew that runs the property! The goats are absolute stars — so friendly and curious that they came right up to us for pets. The chickens and the very cute duck were just as charming, wandering around and adding so much personality to the grounds. We couldn’t stop smiling every time we saw them! The location is ideal too — close enough to enjoy a day at the beach in Ocean City or Assateague Island, then come back to relax by a fire while nature sings you to sleep. The site was level and easy to find. Beautiful view from the camper and a private dock to watch the sunset every night. We even caught a few crabs off the dock. There was a nice breeze the entire weekend. This location was about an hour to Crisfield to catch a ferry to smith or tangier island. We spent an afternoon in Pocomoke city, where we played some pickle ball at the local park and visited the Delmarva discover museum.

Was everything we expected it to be. Site was nice and flat restrooms were clean and well maintained. The goats came to visit the first day we were set up they hung out for a few and went on their way. It was late in the season so activity was minimal which worked out well for us.
