Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Located 2 miles from Rt.50 and 5 miles from Rt.13 our rural property provides a safe spot to overnight. Your small RV, compact trailer or campervan must be completely self-contained. There are no hookups, no bathrooms and no amenities. You are welcomed to stretch your legs on the woodland trails and enjoy the property or plane spot out front on the closed road! The Small Spot is simply rustic parking on a gravel pad in the woods located across from our residence. It's appropriate for travelers passing through or those in town for a few days who will be out & about needing a place for evening rest. It is not somewhere to set up elaborate camp or hang out 'round the clock.The area is tight to back into. Parking dimensions are 10x22 and very closely surrounded by forest trees on three sides. We also have a serpentine driveway so it's not a straight shot in. RV's and campervans must be less than 22ft. Due to limited maneuvering space, travel trailers must be under 16ft. Tow vehicle parking will be in front of our house. Please let us know prior to arrival so we can adjust our vehicles accordingly. There are security cameras outside throughout the property for your protection and ours. Absolutely NO SMOKING OR VAPING anywhere on the property. Please take a stroll on the closed road to smoke/vape. We want everyone to relax and have a good time while enjoying the natural surroundings, so this is not the environment for partying or large gatherings. We do not have set overnight "quiet hours" but please be respectful of us and anyone else staying here.

The Small Spot is just that, just enough space for a teardrop. It works for overnight rest stop. Safe and quiet place to recharge before going on your way. Jess was helpful and responded to inquiries in a timely manner.

Just a Quickie: The Small Spot SBY
We loved camping at Loblolly: The Small Spot because it's beautiful in the woods. The landscape is forest that surrounds the mostly quiet Airport. You can ride for many miles from your spot around the airport and hardly see a car, just beautiful farms and trees. Everything is clean and feels snug and safe. At night, solar lights outline the storybook home of your hosts. A great location with easy access to highways or country roads. We'll be visiting again!
