In 1831 formerly Northern's Mill had an old mill house, dwelling house, outbuildings, mill pond and water courses with about 31 acres and was bought for an enormous amount of $10.00! At the working mill the owner's wife baked pies for the workers to enjoy while they waited for their ground grains (most likely corn, soybeans and wheat). The pond is also recognized as Courtney Mill Pond and Kissinger Mill Pond. Fires in the 1980's have claimed the building creating a perfect place for you to enjoy nature outside. Learn more about this land: Fresh and salt water surrounds a birding, fishing paradise with 5 acres to explore. Bald Eagles are a common siting. We offer a primitive camping experience in the heart of the Northern Neck.  The road is washed out and fresh water pond mostly drained. You will access from Mundy Point Road. This historical site had a working Mill built in the early 1800's. Please check out my friend's place nearby at Callao Brewery and Rivah Vineyards at the Grove!  Grab some fresh local veggies from one of the Amish stands and don't forget your tackle and bait at RW's. Camp 1 has the most room for car camping and groups close to the road and overlooking the pond. Bald Eagles are a common siting. We offer a primitive camping experience in the heart of the Northern Neck.  The road is washed out and fresh water pond mostly drained. We really enjoyed our stay at Anvil Campground. The place was very well planned out, neat and tidy. The host was a great source of very helpful information about how to navigate between the local attractions. The bus stop at the campground provides great service to Williamsburg.

Simple family friendly and family run campground with all the needed resources. We don’t use any of the resources of the full fledged resort campgrounds. But Busch Gardens is just a few miles away if that is what you want. We stayed two extra days to better explore Colonial Williamsburg and the other historical sites - our main goals for this stay.

What an incredible stay! The location is absolutely beautiful—peaceful, scenic, and right by the water. Rod and his wife were amazing hosts—so friendly, welcoming, and attentive. You can really tell they put care into making the place special. Perfect spot to relax, unwind, and enjoy nature. Highly recommend this Hipcamp!

The site was quiet and beautiful. We really enjoyed walking the farm and seeing the animals. I caught my first Bluegill in the lovely fishing pond. I would definitely recommend Peace Hill Farm if you’re looking for peace and quiet in a rustic rural setting.

Such a well-maintained campground! The staff were super friendly and I just kept being so impressed by how clean everything was. Every single time I went into the bathroom, day or night, it looked as if it had just been wiped down. The pool was nicely warm and relaxing, and even though I didn't travel with kids, I think it's great that they had a playground and all kinds of different activities for them. I don't usually look for electric hook up when I travel, but this was a nice luxury this time. Would definitely stay here again!

Just needed to park my car and sleep in it and this was easy to come and go. Several amenities but I didn’t use the firepit or even walk the property. Spacious and was mostly unbothered my whole stay. Thanks for being accommodating.
