3 nights at Hidden Pines

Absolutely loved Chris and Ellen’s site. The property is stunning and peaceful with so much space. Great hookups and a large fire pit. The Main Street area, which is a very convenient drive from the site, has great shops and places to explore and enjoy. If you are in the area this is definitely a must stay in New Hampshire. Ellen and Chris were so nice and had great recommendations. We would happily come back and stay again.

4 nights at Woodbury Meadows

Jon & Ann's property didn't disappoint. Was a little hard to tell what we were coming to for the first time based on pics but it was perfect. Enough partial shade with a level pad for our 24' trailer....and the bath house was just perfect and well maintained. The wifi was super strong and reliable ta boot! Jon's a heck of a fellow and we got to swap great experiences with him while we were there.

Hidden Pines has jumped to the #1 Spot on our HipCamp list! It’s secluded , level , clean and beautiful!! Very easy and fast response from hosts. The WiFi was fast and easy to connect - a bonus! Perfect location to explore Franconia State park and take advantage of local businesses in Bethlehem.

This is a wonderful space. We have a travel trailer and were parked near their trailer. They have everything you need, and are wonderful hosts. The goats are cute and like people.

Weekend Trip to Sandy's Lake Champlain Retreat

Beautiful site right on lake Champlain. Water access directly from the site. Water, electric and sewer available. Host were were welcoming to make sure I had everything I needed. Definitely going back.

Quiet, peaceful and super friendly host. Short drive to Stowe and surrounding nature. Definitely recommended the Burger Barn for food.

The spot has a great view. The restrooms are clean. The grounds around the marina are nice. No other campers besides us. Staff was friendly.

Weekend Trip to Golden Maple Farm - Camping

Golden Maple Farm was the perfect getaway for my husband and I. Coralee met us right away to check in and make sure we had all that we needed. The full hookup was perfect. There is a lot to do in the area. We rode our bikes on the beautiful bike trails and did lots of site seeing. Thank you Coralee for sharing your beautiful farm and views. We can’t wait to return.

2 nights at Willoughby Farm Animal Rescue

RV camping was perfect. Scott is exceedingly accommodating and kind when unforeseen issues pop up during your trip, of which we had a few to no fault of the farm’s. Our RV ran great off of his 30 amp extension cord provided to us and he made sure to ask multiple times if we needed anything from him. The animals are so well loved and content, as all the other reviews boast. We were greeted by a very sweet mother daughter donkey duo and there were friendly pigs, one who loved belly rubs. If you are here to hike, this is your property. On the last day of our trip I did a trail run while waiting for an issue to be resolved with our camper up to the main overlook. It is such a treat, but bring your tick spray for the summer months. The forest holds all sorts of cool things to scout for (statues, signs, and lots of rest areas to take breaks) as you enjoy the dense wilderness. I would absolutely book again, simply magical!

The sense of serenity at Meehan Mountain is surreal... from the gardens in the sunshine to the sound of the bullfrogs during the night. Frank is sweet and very kind. And I loved his dog too.

Camping at the World’s Fair was great. As others have said -not much to do right by. We were in the area to ride our motorcycle. The area was stunning. Highway 100 to Stowe isn’t too far. The General Store has a delicious cafe for lunch and breakfast. Communication was quick. Power and water at the site with dump station on the property.

This is an absolute stunning campsite. One of the nicest I’ve stayed at… They do such an incredibly good job, maintaining it, and were incredibly welcoming. I highly recommend this location.

I loved staying at Between the Brooks. Both hosts were warm, friendly and welcoming. And I especially liked the morning view of their meadow.

The campground is located along our town road and the sites are 50 - 100 feet apart along our driveway. This is not a wilderness experience you will have neighbors, including us. We are located on the Green Mountain Gravel Growler bike packing trail and have lots of hiking , biking, boating and swimming opportunities nearby. Our amenity's include a bath house with two flush toilets and a hot shower! We also now have a washer and dryer available for our campers. We have two 30 amp RV sites with full hook ups and 4 tent/small RV non electric sites. We are 100% solar powered and have good WIFI but no cell service. We cater to small quiet groups who can enjoy our peaceful setting. If your are bike packing and our sites are booked just text or stop in we will accommodate you. Bridgeview Harbour Marina

Bridgeview Harbour Marina is a family owned and operated full service marina, event space, and camping area on the Adirondack shore of Lake Champlain. Established in 2020 the Marina provides seasonal and overnight slips and moorings to boaters, fisherman, and lake-goers, three camp sites, and an on-site cafe. Marina services are available May thru October each year, with other events and services available throughout the year. The marina is set on 33 acres along Lake Champlain and hosts ~4150 feet of lake-frontage, it is accessible via car, boat, or via the adjacent Amtrak rail line. Prior to becoming a marina in 1989, the property was home to a very large Iron Foundry, rail yard, and barge-loading operation known as Cedar Point. Cedar point, part of the larger Witherbee-Sherman Mining Company, operated in the late 19th and early 20th centuries smelting iron ore to be shipped throughout the world via the Lake Champlain Canal and Hudson River, and is credited with providing iron to some of America's leading projects at the time. Some remains of the sites industrious past can be observed throughout the property. From Father's Day to Labor Day, the Marina hosts the Port Henry Waterfront Farmers' Market every Friday between 5PM and 8PM. The Market features farms, makers, artists, food trucks and Live Music every week. Feel free to walk the grounds, but not into the barns and please respect ongoing training and horse activities. Please do not feed horses or enter any pastures. Camp Ebb and Flow

Camp Ebb and Flow is located on the western edge of the White Mountains, near the crossing of the Appalachian Trail and a short drive to VT. Three lakes nearby for swimming, kayaking, and fishing. Hiking trails nearby. The camp offers RV sites with water, electricity, and sewer, an RV site with no hookups, and several tent sites. One of the tent sites has water and electricity and another has electricity with nearby water. There is bathhouse with two toilets and two vanities as well as a shower with changing room. Potable water is also available from a spigot at the bathhouse. There are over six acres of mowed fields for activities and walking. There is also a lovely brook running through the property with many areas you can cool off in from the summer heat. This property has a lengthy history going back to colonial times. It’s been a farm, an apple orchard, and once had a sawmill. Please check the calendar for available dates. Check-in is no later than 9pm unless late arrival arrangements have been made prior to booking. Whenever possible, try to arrive before dark because there are no lights at most sites, which can make setup difficult. A note regarding electric vehicles (EV): If you have an electric vehicle and would like to tent camp, please select one of our full hookup RV sites. If you have the proper electric adapter for your vehicle, you can charge your vehicle at the 30A RV plug while tenting in the field near the RV site. We do not supply these adapters, and we cannot allow you to charge your vehicle unless you have reserved an RV site with full hookups. If you do not see an open site for the days you'd like to get away, please contact us. Sometimes we can make other arrangements, allowing you to stay.

Access the Long Trail at multiple locations within a few miles. BIKING Bike the back roads of the area—wooded areas, windy or flat terrain, beautiful views, plenty of spots to rest beside a flowing stream. Or, access the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail (93+ miles of non-motorized riding/walking on a converted and maintained railway bed). FISHING/HUNTING In the mountains we have streams, brooks, and rivers. There are many hotspots for fishing—lots of brook trout! No matter the rod you use, there are many places to try your skills. A fishing/hunting license is needed. CANOE, KAYAK, TUBE Got your own? Bring it! The Lamoille River is a few miles away and a favorite for water lovers. Don't have one, there is a great rental place down the road where you can take one out for the day. Looking for another option to the river? The Belvidere Pond is down the road and offers a peaceful place to paddle around surrounded by the mountains. MAPLE SYRUP/SUGARBUSH Want to learn about the maple sugaring process? We are always happy to give you a tour of our sugarhouse and the woods, and explain how we turn the tree sap into yummy Maple Syrup. (We only boil January-early April.) We do have this year's crop bottled and available for sale! Buy one for morning pancakes, to add to your morning coffee, or to take home! WILDLIFE/BERRIES/MUSHROOMS/FIDDLEHEADS Depending on the time of the year, you can find wild raspberries, blackberries, mushrooms, and fiddleheads. (Please do not pick or eat something if you don't know if it is poisonous!) And, wildlife are around. Look for tracks in the soil, signs they have been there, or if you are really quiet (usually in the early morning or at dusk) you might see deer, geese, or wild turkeys! Nestled on the outskirts of Barton Village, this picturesque park is steeped in history, having been named after a grand pageant held in 1921 to commemorate Barton Town's 125th anniversary. The event featured 300 local participants and attracted an impressive 4,500 spectators, showcasing the community's spirit. Established on November 13, 1911, when Charles P. Cutler deeded the land to Barton Village, Pageant Park has evolved into a beloved public beach and campground, welcoming visitors during the summer months. In keeping with its historical roots, the park offers free season passes to Village residents, while those from outside the area can purchase passes at the Village office or opt for daily access. The park features 15 RV campsites and additional tent sites available for seasonal or nightly rental. Following upgrades in the fall of 2017, all RV sites now boast full utility hookups, ensuring a comfortable camping experience. Each campsite is equipped with a fire ring, grills are conveniently located in the beach area for outdoor cooking. Visitors to Pageant Park can enjoy a variety of activities.
