Our property is nestled in the foothills of the Mad River Valley, close to the headwaters of the river. The property is composed of wetlands, agricultural meadows, old apple trees, and hardwood forest with 700 feet of elevation. All structures on the property are solar-powered and a rainwater system feeds the sink in the outdoor kitchen. There are a handful of individual camp sites available in the spring, summer and fall, as well as a communal outdoor kitchen with lighting, a fire pit, a stone pizza oven and a sitting/yoga deck. We also offer more of a "glamping" experience in our 14 ft yurt, which comfortably sleeps 2-3 people with wood stove heat and a solar battery for lighting. We love sharing this space with others and offering a rustic forest getaway.

The large sloping lawn is perfect to play games, have a small fire and grill on the mini Weber! A The camp is 1 mile to Main Street in Bristol, an idyllic small Vermont town with local eateries, shopping, grocery and town green with a playground that hosts events on occasion. We are driving distance from breweries, wineries, hiking, swimming and so much more. Middlebury is a 20 minute drive, Lake Champlain 30 minutes, Burlington 45 minutes. These are tent camping sites. We ask that all campers pack in and pack out. If you are in need of a tent or other amenities please DM us. The property has an outhouse style restroom, an electrical box for charging cell phones and potable water via spigot near the outhouse. Parking for up to three vehicles Patio table with 5 chairs 3 Adirondack style chairs Mini Webber grill. Paths & entrance are marked with solar lighting. There is a fire pit provided on the lawn for fires. Fires are not permitted in the woods. Please only use the fire pit for your fires. Do not source wood from the property for fires. Wood can be purchased at the grocery and gas station in town. Please stay on the paths and cleared campsite areas in the woods. Some areas are protected for wildlife and/or your safety! Quiet times. While this site feels remote, you have neighbors. Please observe quiet times from 10 PM - 7 AM. No ragers please (big parties)! There are neighbors on the other side of the fence.

It is time to get the license, for cheese making, and here is when we need your help.We need 20.000 to finish building the barn, with a kitchen, a bathroom, an industrial pasteuriser, a septic system, and much more. We make 7 types of cheeses:Chevre, mozzarella, feta, queso blanco, apple wood smoked queso blanco, type of Manchego, and a ripened cheese.Our goal is to preserve and protect the land while using organic principles to produce products for local consumption and enjoyment. Our Chèvre is a fresh, smooth creamy goats spread, with a little bit of tang with hints of berry bushes and clover. Great for appetizers, to mix with herbs, spread on toast with butter, to add to scramble eggs and much more!Our queso blanco is spanish for white cheese, latin america specialty. This cheese is a firm cheese, with a fresh mildly sweet flavor. Great for cooking! Does not melt while fried or grilled! Take on the flavor of the food and spices in a recipe!Our Apple wood smoked queso blanco is spanish for white cheese and is marinated in olive oil, balsamic vinegar and salt. Great for cooking, for appetizers and for salads.Our Feta is strongly flavored salted cheese, originated in Greece. Often crumbled in little pieces on salads or tacos.Our goat Mozzarella is a firm style cheese with with a slight tang. Hike or bike 2 miles into a completely secluded cabin on 600 acres with panoramic views of the Green Mountains. You’ll arrive to a cozy cabin that can comfortably sleep 2, or up to 4 if needed, equipped with a potbelly stove and basic cooking equipment.The mountain, once a source of wood for the Stanley Tool factory and a site for bridle trails in the summer and Nordic skiing in the winter, is now best known as a the birthplace of the Spartan Race and host of the infamous Death Races, as well being a popular mountain biking destination called the Green Mountain Trails. The trail system boasts 25 miles of flowy trails for all abilities as well as a stone staircase climbing from the base to the top of the trails at Shrek’s Stone Hut. Awake to an incredible sunrise and panoramic Green Mountain views after a night underneath a starry dome unblemished by city lights. Chilly evenings in the hut are easily tempered by a pot belly stove fed by seasoned wood. A built in bunk accommodates two people, but it’s possible to sleep up to four guests.

Our property is nestled in the foothills of the Mad River Valley, close to the headwaters of the river. The property is composed of wetlands, agricultural meadows, old apple trees, and hardwood forest with 700 feet of elevation. All structures on the property are solar-powered and a rainwater system feeds the sink in the outdoor kitchen. There are a handful of individual camp sites available in the spring, summer and fall, as well as a communal outdoor kitchen with lighting, a fire pit, a stone pizza oven and a sitting/yoga deck. We also offer more of a "glamping" experience in our 14 ft yurt, which comfortably sleeps 2-3 people with wood stove heat and a solar battery for lighting. We love sharing this space with others and offering a rustic forest getaway.

Peaceful Country Haven

Dan found this special place back in 1996. We didn’t move on site until 1999 and still haven’t build our dream home. The years were full of raising our four daughters on this beautiful property. The girls had horses, enjoyed snowmobiles, four wheeling, ice skating, kayaking, sliding parties, camping, picking wild berries and playing in the woods. We had a Christmas tree farm and enjoyed sharing the property and horses with our customers. We now enjoy all this with our two grandsons. It seems only right to share what we have been so blessed to enjoy all these years with others. Learn more about this land: Park your RV or pitch your tent and take some time to relax. Take a walk through the woods, take your kayak out on Otter Creek starting at the base of our driveway or relax with a campfire. Visit Blazer or ring the humongous bell, and check out the wildlife. A The camp is 1 mile to Main Street in Bristol, an idyllic small Vermont town with local eateries, shopping, grocery and town green with a playground that hosts events on occasion. We are driving distance from breweries, wineries, hiking, swimming and so much more. Middlebury is a 20 minute drive, Lake Champlain 30 minutes, Burlington 45 minutes. These are tent camping sites. We ask that all campers pack in and pack out. If you are in need of a tent or other amenities please DM us. The property has an outhouse style restroom, an electrical box for charging cell phones and potable water via spigot near the outhouse. Parking for up to three vehicles Patio table with 5 chairs 3 Adirondack style chairs Mini Webber grill. Paths & entrance are marked with solar lighting. There is a fire pit provided on the lawn for fires. Fires are not permitted in the woods. Please only use the fire pit for your fires. Do not source wood from the property for fires. Wood can be purchased at the grocery and gas station in town. Please stay on the paths and cleared campsite areas in the woods. Some areas are protected for wildlife and/or your safety! Quiet times. While this site feels remote, you have neighbors. Please observe quiet times from 10 PM - 7 AM. No ragers please (big parties)! There are neighbors on the other side of the fence.
