Had a great time camping in the level field by the pine trees with my puppy! Visited the area to be away from lights for stargazing and it was perfect. There was a nice fire pit, outhouse and sugar shack on site. Gracious host, excellent hospitality - would go back!

Beautiful views and the sweetest host! Marcia was so kind and welcoming—she even gave us fresh eggs. The outhouse was clean, and the fire pit was perfect for a quiet evening (we were lucky to have the place to ourselves!). It felt like if we needed anything, she would’ve been happy to help. Such a peaceful, well‑kept spot.

Quiet home base to explore the area and hike. Great memories around the campfire overlooking hills and a quiet field during light hours.Hosts were awesome, even could count on them for a can opener.

Marcia had a nice open space with an outhouse, chairs, and a fire pit that was the perfect spot for us to stop to camp close to the long trail. She was a very kind, helpful, generous host!

Marcia was quick to respond and very attentive. Her sister met us upon arrival and pointed us to our site. Marcia came to greet us when she got home.

Super cute place in the middle of the mountains! Easy to find and very quiet and beautiful. Hosts were very accommodating and let us borrow a lighter. Perfect for a quick camping trip!

We had an amazing experience. It was very cozy. The fire pit and the guinea hens were our favorite part. It was a little buggy but that happens when you're camping. We went fishing along the river and has a blast. I would recommend this highly to anyone for a weekend getaway!
The most was very kind and helpful if we had questions.

This is a lovely campsite overlooking a beautiful field and some wooded hills. We had a very relaxing stay with a group one night and then solo the rest of our stay. We enjoyed the Guinea hens who visited our campsite each morning and the host delivering eggs 😊. Highly recommend Warren falls for a swim and great hikes near bye.
Of note: camp is near a busy road… but the view more than makes up for it.

Open, clear, and clean for motocamp
Camp Granville is super easy to find and accessible right off a FM rural road. Marcia was very communicative and welcoming. This listing is PERFECT for any type of small setup with a camper, but not ideal for tenting IMO. The lot is very open, clear, and level but exposed to direct sunlight for several hours during the hottest part of the afternoon. The scrub pine along the west border of the lot don't offer much shade and the nature of the trees are not inviting for tarp tie-outs.
The ability to have a campfire is a nice amenity and Marcia has chairs and a well maintained fire ring bordering the 4 sites and had left quite a bit of deadfall in a nice pile to be used. As stated in the listing, the river is not at the campsites but off property. Depending on the time of year of your visit you may need to navigate through tall (likely buggy) grass to and from.
I HIGHLY recommend Camp Granville to the motor camping community that have a way to escape the heat after a long day of enjoying the VT countryside, hiking, biking, etc. but tenting was a bit uncomfortable with the lack of leafy shelter trees.
Marcia was a super friendly host and you should visit the property if traveling the area! The chickens and grouse are friendly too ;)

We did not end up staying on the property due to lack of communication from the host. When I did receive comunication it was rude. The host did not respond to me after I told thm that I had made other arrangements and will not respond to my refund request. She has ghosted me, but I was notified that she reviewed my stay and I can not see what was said. I have a compliant in to HipCamp. Hopefully this can be resloved amicably but I doubt it with the host lack of communication and attitude.

Marcia greeted us and was very friendly and welcoming- made us feel right at home. End of season so only people there and it was nice and peaceful surrounded by mountains. Fire pit and clean potty. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again!

My partner and I spent two nights in Granville here. It was a great clean quiet camp. There were free range birds that came down each morning to forage around, a great view of the hills, and beautiful places to check out and explore all around the area. (and even an outhouse!) I am keeping this one on the list to to visit again next time we are in the area!

Like camping in a little park next to a cornfield.
Peaceful and well kept property. Yes it's near the road but not annoying at all.
Beautiful area and a great location for exploring the Green mountain and Finger Lakes National forest area. Very nice hosts too!

I was lucky enough to have this camp all to myself. Once the fox had trotted away.
Mowed grass with outlook along the valley. That is until the corn grows I guess, then this camp will be shielded from the occasional highway traveller. Lovely and quiet with foxes and turkeys.
Town is nearby with a restaurant and a deli/general store with many tasty treats.
