This site was absolutely beautiful with clean amenities and a fabulous pool. The property was well maintained and had everything we needed. Would definitely go back!

We had a great stay at Shanti’s. The outdoor kitchen was lovely and our kids really enjoyed the rock wall. It was also nice to have some shady places to hang out in on the really hot days. The location was great as well with a creek hike nearby and a place to get spring water. It was a bit noisy being next to the road in an area with a lot of off roading vehicles, but I imagine the busy-ness of 4th of July added to that.

Weekend Trip to Kolob Campground

This is our favorite lake, and this is the first time we book a spot on this side. It was awesome, the camping host checked in with us as soon as we got there and made sure we got access to a gas fire bowl. Weather is very unpredictable. Pack warm clothing JUST in case. Also make sure you bring a heater or enough bedding to stay warm at night. The site was clean of trash, however it did have a lot of weeds and overgrown grass so space was a little tight. I e managed though, as we booked on same day and they didn’t have time to prep the spot. The porta potties were clean and surprisingly didn’t smell bad. I was expecting less, and was pleasantly surprised. Will definitely book again!

No words to describe my experience here! Before we arrived, I asked about a bigger campsite since the previous reviews on 15 said the site was very small. It indeed was, and would only recommend max 4 people at that site. John called me and told me to communicate w Norm who I assume maintains the campsite. When we initially arrived, we ran into Norm who was in the middle of assisting another group with car problems. Already a great sign! I love that he made it a point to assist others. We asked a lot of Norm, but he did not hesitate to make sure our trip was nothing but great. I seriously don’t think thank you was enough for what he did for our group. And he did everything with a smile on his face. The campsite itself was only a short -less than 5 minute- walk away from the Kolob Reservoir. It was beautiful, but don’t forget the bug spray for all the mosquitoes. The add-on fire pit is a must! We came in late June and it was so cold during the night we had to buy more blankets. Low of 48°. Campsite is very quiet, others were very respectful of the quiet hours. There are porta potties which are very clean & well maintained. WiFi is fast. If you’re planning on going to Zion, this campsite is a must. Yes, it’s an hour away, but it’s so much cooler since it’s up the mountain. I highly recommend!! I am definitely coming here again.

My girlfriend and I found our perfect escape at Zion Wright Family Ranch. This huge, family-owned ranch offered us such peace and quiet, with dispersed camping and glamping options that gave us incredible privacy and stunning views of Zion National Park's red cliffs. Waking up to those amazing sunrises and stargazing at night was pure magic for us. We loved getting a glimpse of authentic ranch life, and the horseback ride with owner Bill Wright was definitely a highlight – a truly immersive way to explore the land together. Even though it feels off-the-grid, the ranch has everything you need, and we loved that it's pet-friendly for our furry companion. The location is perfect: close enough to Zion National Park (about 30-40 minutes) for easy access, but far enough to escape the crowds and truly unwind. Zion Wright Family Ranch isn't just a place to stay; it's an immersive experience that perfectly blends stunning natural beauty with genuine Western hospitality. We can't wait to go back to this special spot.

2 nights at Kolob Campground

The site was great for our group of 8 and two trailer campers. The path to the lake was so easy to go back and forth. John was responsive to my questions prior to our stay and Norm, from the rental shop, was super helpful and knowledgeable about the whole area and had all we needed. The bathrooms were well maintained and the lake is cold but such a nice break from the heat. We will definitely go back.

20 nights at The Orchards at Kolob RV Resort

We stayed at the Orchard's for 2 weeks in our 44ft toyhauler. It is a nice place to stay if visiting Zion or Kolob Canyon (very close). The staff is very friendly and the park feels private. They have a great patio area with fire pit and lounge area on the clubhouse. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend!

Weekend Trip to Zion Wright Ranch Eco-Camp

Amazing sky high views of Zion National Park! Phenomenal sunsets! Even though you’re basically in a pasture, it feels very peaceful and private. But getting there? Don’t attempt if it’s raining! It’s a challenging drive with steep drops off the side of the road. I made it in my Honda Insight just fine (if you ignore my slow speed and steering wheel death grip) and the drive out to where I chose to camp has deep ruts that you have to work your way around. Was it worth it? Absolutely!

We had to relocated from Pine Valley due to the fire and found this little gem at Kolob. It was a wonderful location with the lake close by. The weather was perfect but the only drawback was how dry and dusty it was, the dust got into everything! Besides the dust, it was wonderful!

Access is a U-shape driveway with pull through access. For your enjoyment we have a swim spa, 50 foot golf putting green with chipping mats, Horseshoes and corn hole. Our views of the red rock mountains, sunrise and sunset are spectacular. In addition to the RV space we can accommodate tent on the artificial turf. Burger Barn Camp Out

This camp site, full hook up RV or tent is located a 1/2 mile from beautiful Panguitch Lake. It is located 17 miles from Cedar Breaks National Monument and 49 miles from Bryce Canyon National Park. Available mid-May through late September. It is located in the back section of our property at The Burger Barn, a walk up burger and bbq joint that is which is open daily from 11am-9pm. Plenty of wildlife in the area, deer, chipmunks, hummingbirds, bald eagles, foxes, elk and antelope. Panguitch Lake is the perfect place to see the night sky. On clear nights the milky way is visible. Next door is the Panguitch Lake general store which offers some groceries, fishing licenses, bait and tackle, gasoline, and a small laundromat. In addition to the general store there is a rental shop where you can rent ATVs for your next adventure. You can purchase ice on site and 1 bundle of free wood is included with your booking. There is a sink and port-a-potty on the property. No showers available. We have animals on our property. 1 black lab, and some barn cats that keep the rodents away.

My paternal grandmother fondly recalls spending her summers exploring the flora and fauna and staying overnight in a small cabin that they called “Camp Joy.” My father, also used to visit this area during his youth and has many fond memories of when the family would “Hie to Kolob.” My grandmother, being too old to enjoy the place herself, wanted to sell her portion to someone who would be able to enjoy it in this life. She didn’t believe in restricting access to the wonderful and uniquely awe inducing land surrounding Zion National park. She knew humans are just mere stewards , temporarily living off the land that Mother Nature has so generously provided for. My father and mother also shared this vision so (with his sisters/cousins permission) he purchased her share and the two adjoining lots that were owned by his aunts and combined them so we could have a place to park our trailers in the summertime. The advent of the internet and the resurgence of people wanting to go somewhere with their families to experience the peace and tranquility one can only find in the wilds, led us to feel that sharing this slice of heaven was not only economical but the right thing to do. So much of Kolob and the surrounding areas are marked off by private property, owners who aren’t even there to enjoy it 99% of the time. So we felt divinely called to offer our humble slice of heaven to likeminded individuals, seeking tranquility and peace but for some cosmic reason didn’t stand to inherit private property in the middle of one of the most beautiful places on earth.
