The perfect way to escape the heat of summer, and the crowds of Zion National Park. Kolob Campground, Kolob Terrace Road, and Kolob Reservoir is a quiet location nestled between the main canyons of Zion National Park and the remote Kolob Finger Canyons Complex at Zion National Park. With quick access to West Rim Trail, Subway Canyon, Hop Valley Trail, and Wildcat Canyon Trail, this area of Greater Zion is not to be missed.
Located in a private gated area on the shores of Kolob Reservoir, Kolob Campground is the premiere location for camping on Kolob Mountain in the Greater Zion National Park area.
Kolob Campground is located adjacent to the Kolob Reservoir boat ramp and dock, including four acres of private shoreline. Just a few feet from the paved road, nestled in tall aspen, oak, and pine trees.
Access to potable water is available adjacent to camp, and public restrooms (vault toilets) are only a short walk from camp.
WiFi access is available nearby at Kolob Adventure Rentals/Adventure Beach (3 minute walk). WiFi location and password provided by host upon request. This is an exclusive benefit available to our guests, and the only WiFi available to campers in the area.
Canoe, kayak and SUP rentals, snacks and beverages are also located nearby.
LP(propane) fires are allowed and LP fire bowls can be provided through the camp host. LP fuel is also available for purchase. Wood burning, charcoal, and smoking currently not allowed due to area restriction.

Site 18 Tent or Large RV
Site 18 was plenty big for a large RV and a vehicle or two. Even though the sites are close together there are trees and tall bushes in between so you can’t really see your neighbor. The sites are beautiful and very close to Kolob Reservoir. The camp host was very nice and checked on each campsite every night. The communication through the app was great!

Poor Host
We had two night scheduled to stay here. It was gorgeous. We enjoyed the time we stayed there. But due to the weather conditions they didn’t allow fires, but offered propane fires to rent. We decided to rent one and didn’t know the price until they dropped it off ($50), which was more than the one night we ended up staying and we never used it because it started raining an hour after they dropped it off. We tried asking multiple times for a refund - contacted the host and even went to the hosts campsite and they told us the fire pits were something they didn’t deal with. We never got our money back for it. So needless to say, management is very poor, so don’t expect very much from them. Also, no swimming in the water so no need to bring your suits!

The view was beautiful. There was no campsites behind us. We were quite close to the lake(1 min) walk. The stars were amazing and the milky was was so visible.
Our suggestions would be more clearing and leveling for tents.
There is absolutely NO Wi-Fi. Out of 8 of us and 3 different services none of us ever had any connection to Wi-Fi.
Out campground host was extremely friendly. At first he was very helpful. Soon he was coming by 3-4 times a day and would engage in conversation for 20-60 minutes. Our dogs would bark the entire time he was there. We would 1-2 times a day just to check on things.
We will definitely go back. All in all it was a great experience.

Site 1 Tent or RV
The land, view, amenities and hosts were great! Only downside is that quiet hours were not respected by other guests. Sites are pretty close together so be prepared for potentially noisy neighbors if needing to turn in early.
