Loved the van we stayed in it was super cozy! Also it was conveniently close to all of the major parks and downtown areas. Beautiful spot to stay.

Desert Bloom RV #7: Full Hookups

I really wanted to like Desert Bloom. I appreciated that it was a smaller campground and had all of the things.. sites with electric/water, bathhouse/ shower, and sink for dishes. It did not appear to have to pull through sites as stated and the sites are tiny. Just barely enough room to back in and a concrete slab with a bistro table. Many sites seem to have full term or long term residents. Our site (7) had a lot of knee high weeds growing in the parking space and living space. We cut them down but was surprised as it didn't give off an inviting vibe. The bathrooms were always dirty (2 nights) and we had to ask that the toilet paper was restocked. It's a cool location and very convenient. The café was not open and we couldn't find hours but it looks cute. Despite being right off the main highway we never heard excessive noise.

Easy in and out access, it was great for an overnight stay. Pretty funky, but fun. Griffin was very helpful and accommodating. Would stay again.

My first solo camping experience in Griffin’s land went great! The area was peaceful and relaxing. I felt safe and unbothered. Griffin was responsive to my request and communicated promptly. I look forward to my next stay.

We liked the atmosphere of this little park. Very chill. They had a great little yard next to our site that would have been great to keep a dog contained while we hang out. The site also came with a bbq, and there were many more for use in the island. The host was nice.

This place is awesome. I mean, there's literally a UFO greeting you at the entrance—how can you not love that? The campground sits right against the stunning red cliffs that make this area so famous, creating an incredible backdrop in every direction. There's even a hiking trail right on the property that leads to fossilized dinosaur tracks. The RV spots are easy and have full hook ups and the bath house was super clean and renovated! Great spot to stop for the night.

Fantastic little place!!!!

Super nice little campground! Host was great to talk with via text and very accommodating. Bathrooms were about as close to home as a campground could possibly get and shower was hot! Little cooking area with a couple grills to use and outside kitchen sink was amazing. All in all if we ever end up near Kanab again we will likely go out of our way to stay here again!!!!!!

Stayed overnight, host was accommodating, we cane in late. Great spot to rest for the evening, showers and bathroom were clean and welcomed. Nice area if you have a pet with you. ,

Desert Bloom Car Camping Spot #14

This place was the perfect place for a bad camp to go out to see area attention, Zion, Bruce Canyon, Grand Canyon, etc. Griffin was a great host. Their office and restaurant are a work in progress. I’m anxious to see what they get done. The bathhouse was very clean. There was a cool little hike that adjoined the campground, Dinosaur Tracks. We loved the quaint little town, Kanab. Hope to visit again!!!

Great Place!

What a treat. A small campground with about 15 campsites and 3 yurts. In a canyon of its own, surrounded on two sides by high red rock walls. Its entrance only a few feet away from the Dinosaur Trail. The sites are close but individualized, some have shade. The bathrooms are clean and so are the showers that always have hot water. The hosts respond quickly and are very helpful. They are new owners and are doing a great job! A great basecamp or place to relax. Hope to come back some day.

Such a wonderfully easy and comfy stay! We were visiting both Bryce Canyon and Zion and Desert Bloom is perfectly situated for this. Bathrooms and showers are clean, water pressure and temp was perfect for post-hike showers. Car camping spot had ample space, with a sweet table and great views. Thank you!!

Stunning setting. Clean, inviting bathhouse very appreciated after a day of hiking. Quiet and pleasant. Undergoing renovation and will be a funky, fun place—has great potential. Currently very peaceful and well-maintained.

It was pretty quiet, had a table and chairs, grill and a padded chair. One shower didn’t work (at least for me), but the shower/toilet/vanity combo in two of the four rooms was a neat idea. Shower products were provided, and they used cloth hand towels to avoid waste. We had a hard time getting a site, but not sure if it was cell service, user error or what. We were finally successful. We didn’t get to try the cafe.

Desert Bloom Car Camping Spot #15

I enjoyed my 2 night stay at Desert Bloom RV! I ended up with I think one of the best electric and water campsites for my van, #11, because it had a nice shade structure and tree that kept it cooler. The bathrooms were clean and the showers nice and hot. I appreciated there being shampoo, conditioner, and body-wash in each shower stall. Griffey was onsite working on the soon to open cafe and responded quickly with any requests. I would definitely stay here again as it was economical and close to Kana.

A very quirky well kept and managed little campground with a variety of accommodations and sites, from windowed geodesic domes to full hookup rv sites, an old westfalia (parked) you can rent and also tent sites. All in a beautiful setting with cliffs around and a hike to dinosaur tracks!!

Desert Bloom Car Camping Spot #14

This was a great little campground. Just off the highway so easy to find, but also quiet - I didn't notice any traffic noise. There are nice showers, some solar lights and firewood available to buy. There's a fun hike to see some dinosaur footprints. Very comfortable - I would definitely stay there again.
