Hiking and biking trails on the Bonneville Shoreline Trail System Hill Air Force Base and it's amazing air force plane museum Snow Basin Ski Resort Salt Lake City and Temple Square Antelope Island Fishing and floating on the Weber River We are big rig friendly resort and have multiple "buddy sites" for RV groups traveling together and we can accommodate any size rig and trailer combination up to 100+ feet which means we have plenty of parking for all your stuff! Once your adventures are complete for the day, come back and soak in the hot tub or relax in the pool. And if work needs to get be done, you will love our fiber internet speeds! This campsite had the most beautiful view I’ve ever had on a camping trip. The campground is right across a field from red rock cliffs, and the view in the evening is amazing! The bathrooms are very clean, and the sites are large.

Very clean facility full of friendly people. My two boys and I stayed in a teepee for the night. It was a fun experience and only a few dollars more than a traditional tent site. The location to Bryce Canyon is unparalleled. Would definitely stay again!

Tent camped here for 3 nights. Nice private lots. Bathroom was a short walk from tent site (bathhouse wasn't open which was right beside our site) but bathrooms & showers were clean and well maintained. Location was good for hikes in Escalante

Entrance is hard to find…they said they are working on more signage. It is literally right next to La Quinta. Nice new place. A little pricey but has concrete flat parking spaces. Very clean bathrooms. Everything worked well. Nice pool area.

We had a nice back-in spot by the river. Very relaxing. There’s a bike path right out the front of the RV park, but we couldn’t do it because of Utah fire smoke. Friendly hosts.

This place is awesome. I mean, there's literally a UFO greeting you at the entrance—how can you not love that? The campground sits right against the stunning red cliffs that make this area so famous, creating an incredible backdrop in every direction. There's even a hiking trail right on the property that leads to fossilized dinosaur tracks. The RV spots are easy and have full hook ups and the bath house was super clean and renovated! Great spot to stop for the night.

Staff was very welcoming and accommodating. RV site was spacious and close to restrooms. Grounds were clean and you can’t beat the location! Showers require a passcode to enter so make sure you have that!

We really enjoyed our stay here! Very welcoming little community. We stayed at the Margaritaville cabin and it exceeded our expectations. Very comfy king bed. Nice private view of a little section of the small river that passes right behind.

Where to go

Northwest Utah

Northern Utah is where you'll find some of the state's lushest areas, with plenty of lakes and mountains, a stark contrast to the rockier, arid regions to the south. Salt Lake City is one of the region's biggest draws, and its easy access to outdoor recreation areas, such as Antelope Island State Park on the Great Salt Lake, makes it a reasonable base for those wanting to explore the region. Camping areas abound in this region—the tent-only Cottonwood Campground at Bear Lake State Park is a particularly good choice.

Eastern Utah

Eastern Utah offers some of the best opportunities for outdoor recreation in the state, and that's not just because two of Utah’s five national parks—Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park—are here, a short drive from Moab. Spots worth visiting include Dead Horse Point State Park (popular for mountain biking) and Natural Bridges National Monument, where you’ll see three natural bridge formations carved from the earth millennia ago. This area is also great for archaeology fans. Hovenweep National Monument is a great place to check out the ruins of 13th-century pueblos, while Bear Ears National Monument is full of beautifully preserved ancient cave art.

South-Central and Southern Utah

South Central Utah offers a mix of high desert and dense forest, with plenty of spots to go out and play. You can hike through the slot canyons of the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument, explore the fairytale-like hoodoos at Goblin Valley State Park, or try your hand at canyoning at Capitol Reef National Park. This region is also home to Lake Powell, on the Colorado River, right on the border with Arizona.

Southwest Utah

Home to both Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon National Park, southwest Utah offers fantastic hiking and camping options, with a mix of beautiful rock formations, vast forests, and desert sand dunes. While the national parks are the main draw, this region offers plenty to do, from ATV/OHV riding on the massive golden dunes at Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park to checking out the red rock formations at Kodachrome Basin State Park. You'll find some of Utah's best camping spots and hiking trails all through the region, and the lack of light pollution makes this area ideal for stargazing under the night skies.
