We do not currently have propane fill on site. We know that there are many options to choose from when it comes to staying in Moab. Camp Along the Green River Ever wanted to camp along the Green River? We invite you to come stay on our property and experience it for yourself. Enjoy beautiful white sandy beaches nestled among cottonwood trees right along the river, where the only sounds you’ll hear are those of nature. Guests can spend their time fishing, tubing, kayaking, or simply relaxing along the water. Depending on the time of year, the surrounding area is also great for riding ATVs or four-wheelers. At night, with no city lights nearby, the sky opens up to incredible stargazing. We offer two different campsites: • Riverside Site – Located directly along the Green River, surrounded by cottonwood trees and white sandy beaches, providing a true riverside camping experience. • Family Site – This site includes a fence and gate between the campsite and the river, making it a great option for guests with small children. It also features cottonwood trees that provide shade from the summer sun. During the summer months, mosquitoes can occasionally be heavy due to the proximity to the river. To help with this, we provide tiki torches filled with mosquito-repellent oil at both campsites—guests simply need to light them as needed. We also recommend bringing personal insect repellent for added comfort. If you happen to forget, we do keep some available for purchase. Such a wonderfully easy and comfy stay! We were visiting both Bryce Canyon and Zion and Desert Bloom is perfectly situated for this. Such a great resort. The sites were pretty level, clean and the views and amenities were amazing. There is road noise which we expected but it's worth the visit. Staff was great as well.

This was a great little campground. Just off the highway so easy to find, but also quiet - I didn't notice any traffic noise. There are nice showers, some solar lights and firewood available to buy. There's a fun hike to see some dinosaur footprints. Very comfortable - I would definitely stay there again.

A very quirky well kept and managed little campground with a variety of accommodations and sites, from windowed geodesic domes to full hookup rv sites, an old westfalia (parked) you can rent and also tent sites. All in a beautiful setting with cliffs around and a hike to dinosaur tracks!!

Cute place with a lot of potential! Unbelievably beautiful surroundings with great hills and trails for the dog to explore and for us humans to gawk at. Clearly still being renovated, but the vibes are great and I recommend it wholeheartedly. The bathhouse with warm showers is a wonderful feature!!

I had such a wonderful stay at this little casita resort. From the moment my family and I arrived, everything felt so peaceful and thoughtfully put together. The casita itself was extremely clean—one of the cleanest places I’ve ever stayed in—which made me feel comfortable right away. Everything was also very well organized, making it easy to settle in and enjoy the space without any stress. You can really tell that a lot of care goes into maintaining the property. I just wish we could’ve stayed more than one night to fully enjoy all the amenities, but we’re already hoping to come back again soon.

I enjoyed my 2 night stay at Desert Bloom RV! I ended up with I think one of the best electric and water campsites for my van, #11, because it had a nice shade structure and tree that kept it cooler. The bathrooms were clean and the showers nice and hot. I appreciated there being shampoo, conditioner, and body-wash in each shower stall. Griffey was onsite working on the soon to open cafe and responded quickly with any requests. I would definitely stay here again as it was economical and close to Kana.

Ruby's Inn is not just a full hookup site but a kind of RV Resort -- like the DisneyLand of National Park full hookup sites. Tons of spaces, friendly helpful staff, extremely clean showers, and dozens of random extras like pool, laundry, groceries, old-timey photos, etc. We loved it, but if you're out just for quiet and nature, it might not be for you.

Where to go

Northwest Utah

Northern Utah is where you'll find some of the state's lushest areas, with plenty of lakes and mountains, a stark contrast to the rockier, arid regions to the south. Salt Lake City is one of the region's biggest draws, and its easy access to outdoor recreation areas, such as Antelope Island State Park on the Great Salt Lake, makes it a reasonable base for those wanting to explore the region. Camping areas abound in this region—the tent-only Cottonwood Campground at Bear Lake State Park is a particularly good choice.

Eastern Utah

Eastern Utah offers some of the best opportunities for outdoor recreation in the state, and that's not just because two of Utah’s five national parks—Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park—are here, a short drive from Moab. Spots worth visiting include Dead Horse Point State Park (popular for mountain biking) and Natural Bridges National Monument, where you’ll see three natural bridge formations carved from the earth millennia ago. This area is also great for archaeology fans. Hovenweep National Monument is a great place to check out the ruins of 13th-century pueblos, while Bear Ears National Monument is full of beautifully preserved ancient cave art.

South-Central and Southern Utah

South Central Utah offers a mix of high desert and dense forest, with plenty of spots to go out and play. You can hike through the slot canyons of the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument, explore the fairytale-like hoodoos at Goblin Valley State Park, or try your hand at canyoning at Capitol Reef National Park. This region is also home to Lake Powell, on the Colorado River, right on the border with Arizona.

Southwest Utah

Home to both Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon National Park, southwest Utah offers fantastic hiking and camping options, with a mix of beautiful rock formations, vast forests, and desert sand dunes. While the national parks are the main draw, this region offers plenty to do, from ATV/OHV riding on the massive golden dunes at Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park to checking out the red rock formations at Kodachrome Basin State Park. You'll find some of Utah's best camping spots and hiking trails all through the region, and the lack of light pollution makes this area ideal for stargazing under the night skies.
