I really enjoyed my time at the p2 farm. First off, the beautiful horses, the open land, the sweet puppies, the male and female sheep hip to hip couple, the 400 year old Mother Tree, the open starry sky, the river, to Makayla’s wonderful hospitality was everything I was hoping for when I booked. The bus was a plus since I did not have to do much camp set up and had my own space and refrigerator! It was nicely remodeled and very cozy even for 2 people and 3 mid sized dogs! Our dogs got to roam freely. I also got to view the campsites near the Mother Tree and the river bank which were very nice. There’s a large communal area for cooking and gathering. I highly recommend this place if you really want the farm life while roughing it as true camper! I got the luxury of having 80 degree weather during the day and 60 degree weather at night. Perfect for a fire. And this was in December! They also offer horse trail rides which I plan to do next time!

We had a great time camping at the mother tree site!! The site was so clean and beautiful! It felt super private but also not isolated. We also had decent luck with fishing the river! Would highly recommend!

The location was amazing. It’s within walking/running distance of Hamilton Pool. The campsite had everything we needed including water access immediately in the camp. The outdoor shower was an incredible experience. It had the feel of being out in the open wilderness but still somehow private. The owners are super cool and have laid this place out perfect. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

This is such a gem inside the city. A little urban oasis. The layout is big enough that you feel like you have your own space, but you never have to walk for to get to the amenities. Its cozy, charming and feels very welcoming. I would come back to Austin just to stay here.

Large space with normal toilet. We stayed on the ranch side, which was closer to Makayla's house. There is also a river side which is more secluded. We utilized the fire pit, the bathroom, and some of the table space made available to us. The property was easy to find, and Makayla was reachable through phone calls. We did small daytrip into town, which was very close to the property. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would recommend to others.

Johnnie and Sheri are always extremely hospitable. They will make sure you're happy and that you have an extremely positive camping experience. The sites are all very private and really great. They also have several amenities for primitive camping that you don't always find which are nice to have. I would highly highly recommend this camping area for anyone to looking to stay in dripping springs. Ingo back again and again

What a cozy little spot! My camp spot was in close proximity to the river, so you could hear the stream, sit right beside a large pecan tree, and hear a few song birds chirp. Great quick getaway for me!

I didn't end up making it to my scheduled weekend over Thanksgiving and while I enjoy supporting local businesses and would even donate (it was $100-120 for the four days), when I texted the host this, James, about using those 4 days another time and thanked him either way..he didn't have the decency to respond at least saying yay or nay it wasn't doable or it was...just ignored. Either way would have been understandable, but I just donated $100 or so to your local business...real neighborly.....Happy Thanksgiving to you too, Bud.

My husband, dogs, and I stayed in The Hideout and it was the perfect cozy space with everything we needed. Communication was top notch and river access for fishing was a definite perk. We saw plenty of wildlife during our stay as well.

There's hot water and pretty everything you need near the campsite (a short uphill walk, maybe 2min). However, there's no table, lights, or water on the campsite, so to be prepared. The view is great and the toilet and shower are clean!!

Our group really enjoyed their stay at 13 Acres Retreat - we tent camped in the Magic Forest Area which is a few min hike down from the common areas and cabins. It was quiet, peaceful with amenities close by - having hot coffee available was such a bonus! The common area and the sunset deck were very pretty and the heated toilet block was a nice plus. The outdoor shower was great, with properly hot water. And it was a short 10min drive from Reimers Ranch, perfect for short hikes and sport climbing. Highly recommended!

Great private spot with awesome views and some really cute animals around the property. It was peaceful for the most part, though the dog did bark quite a bit in the evening. Still, overall a good stay, and I would stay again.

The location was central at 30+ minutes to wherever I wanted to go: Austin, Wimberley, San Antonio. I enjoyed the private, tree-covered camping spot. I saw bunnies, cats, deer, and all kinds of birds. If you’re a light sleeper or like to sleep in, be sure to bring ear plugs to hear less of the resident rooster. The hosts were caring, communicative, and accommodating, willing to share some of their covered patio when it rained. Thankful for the indoor bathroom facilities with hot water. My AT&T phone signal worked fine.

I came for rest and a peaceful atmosphere and that is what I got. Everyone was very nice. It had the things I required: toilet, shower and potable water as well as wi-fi and a kitchen! Nothing to complain about.
