Welcome to our slice of paradise in Thrifty, Texas, where adventure awaits along the tranquil shores of the Jim Ned River. Nestled on 2 acres of pristine riverfront property, our spacious RV sites offer the perfect retreat for outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers alike. RV sites have 20/30/50 amp electric hookups.

Cast your line into the sparkling waters for some of the best fishing around, or embark on a leisurely kayak or paddleboard adventure along the meandering river. Just a short 20-minute paddle away lies Lake Brownwood, beckoning with its scenic beauty and endless recreational opportunities.

After a day of exploration, return to your RV site and relax amidst the beauty of nature. Fire up the grill for a cookout, gather around the campfire under the starry sky, and savor the peace and serenity of riverside living.

With full hookups and ample space for fishing, cooking out, and enjoying the great outdoors, our property is the perfect destination for your next getaway in Brown County.

Little Off Lake House

Enjoy a country getaway on private 8 acre lake on 45 acres. A perfect escape from the city with gorgeous sunset views, Texas wildlife and a relaxing comfortable lake house with many amenities.  Lake is full of Blue gill, bass, crappie, catfish. Since it's private lake there is no need for fishing license.  Guest are welcome to explore most of acreage, pet donkeys, watch wildlife.  We have fishing poles, Jon boats, motorized barge available for rent.  There is fire pit, gas grill (please don’t put charcoal in it) , diving board (when lake is full, ask or check if ok to use).  No food is provided you must bring your own, don't forget your coffee, there is a coffee pot but not coffee. No toiletries are provided. Site is 10 minutes from Stephenville,  3 miles from County Store in Huckabay. Linens, towels provided. Board games are available if requested, Wii, ping-pong table, outdoor games, trampoline on site. Land owners located across lake and may be on lake or available as needed. GPS should get you here. You will go past Little Off Ranch house, follow road to lake house. Keys will be left out on porch on arrival day. Wi-Fi is now available but no cable television.  TV is available to use for Wii or DVD/VHS. Large collection of movies available. Pets are welcome as long as they don’t damage home, chase cows, kill chickens or are dangerous to others. There is an extra fee for pets. If children are in, on or near water they should have life jackets on. Use best judgment, safety measures and laws required in TX.  NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ACCIDENTS. Fishing Guidelines per visit:

Bass 10”-14” keep, limit 10, Crappie limit 10, Catfish are catch and release for now, Bluegill (I call them perch) limit 10.

Inez Spring Riverfront RV Park

Lake Cisco Campground

Located at an old WPA resort that had the World's largest Concrete Swimming Pool and old Zoo made in caves. There are 2 RV sites and multiple tent camping sites. There is a lot of history associated with the area. Elvis and Bob Wills stayed there when the rock cabins were called Lake Cisco Courts in the 1950s.

KG Brothers Acres

10 acres of off-the-grid land, unfenced, where hunting is welcome and shooting is allowed right on the property. Bring your rifles, bows, or camping gear and enjoy the freedom of wide-open space. 

With the lake currently dry, it’s the perfect setting for target practice, hunting, and back-to-basics camping. A rugged retreat for those seeking privacy, adventure, and room to roam.

Site 3 is located To the east of the store on the public beach side. There is wifi, electricity and water as well as lakefront, beach and dock access!

Camping at Lake Cisco Rentals

Enjoy lakeside camping at its finest! At all our sites there are water connections, sites vary from 50/30/20amp electricity and all include wifi. We offer the top amenities and purchasable convenience at our Lakeside store right beside the RV spots including: bait, tackle, beverages, souvenirs and snacks. We Rent kayaks, Peddle boats, Canoes, other self-propelled boats, as well as jet-skis and a pontoon boat if you wish to go explore around the lake to get a magnificent inclusive experience of Lake Cisco. If you like to access the rustic outdoors and would like to catch your own dinner we also rent fishing poles and sell fishing licenses as well as other lake accessories. You'll enjoy fishing for Large mouth Bass, Big Catfish, and many other species including crappie, sand bass and perch. Swimming and spectacular sunsets on our large dock or with sand in your toes on our private beach! Cisco is famously know for having the First Hilton Hotel established in 1920, The Worlds Largest Swimming Pool(out of commission) and the Santa Clause Bank robbery. Some of its featured attractions are its Museums full of western history, Antique stores, gift shops, Shopping Boutiques, Downtown festivities, nightlife downtown at RedGap Brewery where they sell freshly brewed beer and Muddy Mikes for food beverages and entertainment. Cisco is home of the Cisco Pie fest. Take a walk downtown to marvel at all the fully restored 1920's buildings. We are 4.5 miles North of Downtown Cisco. There is hiking nearby at The Old Zoo Trails. You will have the Best Lake Life experience that will leave lasting impressions long after your stay. We are happy to accommodate and meet all your needs while you stay.

Comanche Oaks Ranch

Learn more about this land:Hipcampers can expect to see one of the darkest skies in Central Texas, located far enough away from Austin and Dallas light pollution to clearly see the Milky Way on a cloudless night. Drive carefully on the dirt roads leading to the ranch; as deer are plentiful all around the property.  Wildlife viewing is exceptional, with a wide range of animals typical of the rolling hills of Central Texas Hillcountry. The property has patches of open meadows speckled with hundreds of large, beautiful heritage trees including Live Oaks, Red Oaks, Cedar Elms, and Pecans. There are two small ponds on the property, with plenty of frogs and typical aquatic species providing a natural soundscape at night.  Feel free to explore the site on foot or vehicles, but please keep vehicles only on existing dirt roads (no off-roading allowed). Feel free to use the RV hookup at the green metal building, and enjoy the stunning sunset views of the Texas Hillcountry from the elevated wooden deck connected to the building. The large propane grill (propane provided) on the wooden deck is also available for camper use. Campers can make a campfire in the designated fire pit only,  and you must bring your own firewood.  Campers may use the outdoor shower station, but you must bring your own water and mobile shower bag to hang from the hook at the top of the shower station.

Tent site in a fenced in area in our front pasture covered by a large oak tree. Site has a cooking fire pit and water. Composting outhouse nearby.

ABOUT THE PARK
This campground currently offers 26 spacious sites, 12 of which are pull-through. Included in these sites are both 30- and 50-amp hookups, water, sewage, WIFI, gorgeous sunrises, and sunsets. Other amenities include a pet area, children’s playground, fishing, hiking, picnic areas, fire rings, a full kitchen available for special events (located in the office), detached bathroom and shower facilities, ice machine, outdoor and indoor TV, communal area with smoker, gazebos and outdoor games.If you have any questions about amenities that are available please contact the office.

Power is conveniently available through a generator for our RV and for the lights at night, with easy refueling using our provided 5-gallon gas can.

The RV also includes a toilet and shower for your comfort.

While there’s no running water on-site, we recommend bringing a small water supply for short showers and toilet use. Our family uses a 5-gallon Igloo water jug, which provides plenty for a relaxing stay.

The River Bottom

Hello! We are so excited that you are interested in staying at The River Bottom. 

This property is primitive with 132 acres of prairie land, trees, a pond, a river, creeks, and wildlife. 
We can accommodate RVs, camper vans, tents, or people who want to park and hike to a primitive camp spot. 

Campsites are to the left of the entrance near the road; however, there is very little traffic as there are few neighbors.  We offer fire pits at each campsite with some included firewood. 

There is minimal light pollution, and stargazing is a must! Keep an eye out for petrified wood and arrowheads. If you're quiet enough, you might see some deer or other incredible wildlife.
