Hello! We are so excited that you are interested in staying at The River Bottom. This property is primitive with 132 acres of prairie land, trees, a pond, a river, creeks, and wildlife. We can accommodate RVs, camper vans, tents, or people who want to park and hike to a primitive camp spot. Campsites are to the left of the entrance near the road; however, there is very little traffic as there are few neighbors. We offer fire pits at each campsite with some included firewood. There is minimal light pollution, and stargazing is a must! Keep an eye out for petrified wood and arrowheads. If you're quiet enough, you might see some deer or other incredible wildlife.

Campsites are to the left of the entrance near the road; however, there is very little traffic as there are few neighbors. When you arrive, please go through the main entrance gate and stay on the main road. Go past campsite 1 to the first left turn. Take that and pass campsite 2, and continue until you see campsite 3, Deer Blind, on the left. This campsite can host tents. You will drive through a thin tree tunnel before the campsite opens behind the trees and brush. This site has dirt and grass, with trees surrounding all sides to provide privacy. We will provide logs for the fire pit on the site, and campers may purchase more firewood. Extra tables and chairs are available to borrow. A metal gate leads to the rest of the property, where campers can hike the roads or animal trails, mountain bike, or fish or swim at the pond. Be sure to keep an eye out for petrified wood and arrowheads, as they are all over the property! The host's house is across a small field to the right of the entrance.
