No food is provided you must bring your own, don't forget your coffee, there is a coffee pot but not coffee. No toiletries are provided. Site is 10 minutes from Stephenville, 3 miles from County Store in Huckabay. Linens, towels provided. Board games are available if requested, Wii, ping-pong table, outdoor games, trampoline on site. Land owners located across lake and may be on lake or available as needed. GPS should get you here. You will go past Little Off Ranch house, follow road to lake house. Keys will be left out on porch on arrival day. Wi-Fi is now available but no cable television. TV is available to use for Wii or DVD/VHS. Large collection of movies available. Pets are welcome as long as they don’t damage home, chase cows, kill chickens or are dangerous to others. There is an extra fee for pets. There is a lot of history associated with the area. Elvis and Bob Wills stayed there when the rock cabins were called Lake Cisco Courts in the 1950s.

Come stay on our 100 acre Richard Creek Valley getaway, gently tucked away on the north slope. There are four campsites on the property and they are all at least 150 yards away from each other. Each site is private. When the ground is dry there is access for all vehicles. When the ground is muddy, Brookside, RiverRock, and Richardson Creek campsites require a 4-wheel drive and have alternate routes to get to them. Ancient Oaks is an all-weather site. You can enjoy hiking and swimming in Richardson Creek when water levels permit. Canoeing from Bakers Crossing put-in which is only 3 miles away. Some places to check out while you are here include Dinosaur Valley State Park, Dinosaur World, Granbury Historic Square, Stephenville Rodeo, Bakers Crossing River Put-In, Oakdale Plunge Pool, and BigRocks Park in Glen Rose. There is over a quarter mile of Brazos riverfront property although you cannot get to the river on all of it due to it being in its natural state. There is a beach at the main camp that provides easy in and out of the water. the water depth varies with the rainfall but is usually between 2-4 feet deep.

Walking through the park and the square is just magical at Christmastime. Easy Like a Sunday Morning is nestled just outside the city limits of Granbury, Texas (approximately 3 miles from Granbury Historic square) @ a private residence just outside the city limits. New laundry facility down the road, dump station @ Thorp Springs RV park (20 dollars), Davids Grocery store and Dollar General, all only .03 miles away. This is not really a vacation destination but more a safe place to stay coming to town to explore all Granbury has to offer or a place to catch your breathe while traveling on the road. Friends have enjoyed escaping here for years. I decided to share the zen. It's a bit rough around the edges but if the new venture succeeds it will only get better each time you visit. Patio with a view of Lake Granbury and surrounding valley of at least 3 counties. Communal: Bonfire area when there isn't a burn ban (bring your chair). Also small fire pit on patio. Stumbled upon this magical place. So pleased we stayed an extra night. We as in my pets and I. Pet friendly! Caretaker of property is available for anything but keeps to himself. His awesome dog Thor feels like a safe watchdog. There is community property near so you may encounter that. The history, structures and ability to explore them are really something to experience. The property is covered with old oak trees that are unique on a whole other level. Johnnie is generous , communicative and happy to share the history of Cisco.

I won't lie I was worried when we got there. But the place and the people were amazing! Being right on the river was so nice and in our campsite we had a small family of cardinals for the entire weekend! I can't recommend this place enough especially if you have a family or pets. Truly magical.

Stayed at "the point" a nice view and acess of the river a lovely spot the hidden charm of this place is the animal they keep at the farm a whimsical feeling of hearing Zchickens goats and peacocks in the distance with plenty of natural critters to hear an see around and across the rivers. The host of the site are very kind and nice to talk to.

The directions to the sites were very easy, and even though Amy was away, we were able to easily get in contact with her and get settled in. We stayed at “The Point” site. The toilet was super clean and recently stocked, having been maintained well. The grounds themselves were similarly kept. On the site we saw river otters! That was fun. There are also lots of gar, herons, snakes and turtles to see in the river. We really loved that. The only downside I’d say is the neighbors dog’s that like to bark at everything. But they settle down quickly and didn’t bother us much. Overall it was a good night’s stay! We’d come here again.

While I did end up having a great time..However..I saw a photo of the Riverside Campground where I stayed on the Hipcamp app which is what made me wanna book it….and it didn’t look anything like where I actually camped. I made the best of it though and pitched my tent in such a way it was overlooking the river. The fishing was great and the area is quite..But I also kinda felt like I was being watched..Idk..maybe it had something to do with the sign that said 24 hour surveillance that’s posted on the gate. I didn’t meet the host personally but she was communicating through the app which is fine. She seems Ike a very nice lady. I just wanna know where the spot was on the photo I seen. That’s where I envisioned I’d be camping.
