2 acres in the hill country in a small wooded neighborhood. I live in the brick house, have several garages and sheds, etc on property as well. There are also a few honey bee colonies scattered on the property. Open grassy areas as well as tree covered areas. This is a quiet neighborhood and wildlife is abundant. You may hear coyotes and a great horned owl at night. There is a honey bee themed gift shop on site that is regularly open Thu-Sat 10-6 that offers tastings and tours. There is a restroom and small sink area connected to store that is open 24 hrs. There are 2 LONG RV spots up to 45 feet in length BUT, they are back in only and the turn around area is tight if you have a BIG RIG. The 2 camper van sites are (Site 1) 32' and (Site 2) 22'. Ask me if you want to know more! It helps me to approve you more quickly if I know how tall/long your RV is. Especially if you are longer than 24 feet. You can text me info. There is an outdoor shower area near the dark brown tiny house that is a cold water shower only! :) Ask me if you need towels and/or body wash, etc. (I don't mind helping out so you can travel lighter!)

Our two camp hosts, Joannie and James, are working towards improving the facilities each day to help support dog partners who like to recreate with their dogs off leash in a predictable environment. In addition to a comfortable campsite, there are some 30 acres of desert forest, wild clay harvesting and ancient pottery firing, restorative agriculture, and no light pollution, making for a nature-focused experience both day and night. We are in the path of totality for the solar eclipse, so join us for this special day! Puppy Paradise is here are several downtown areas within 15-20 minutes of the campsite. Salado is our home town and it's a welcoming space especially around the Barrow Brewery and Salado creed where they often have outdoor music in a park setting with several local food vendors. Primitive tent camping, or if you want to go glamping you can bring an RV with a generator and be even more secluded but still have the comfortable amenities of an RV. IF YOU DON'T HAVE AN RV...no worries! Contact outdoorsy.com. you can rent an RV. They will deliver it, set it up and pick it up. Remember to ask for a generator. You don't have to bring wood. Ranch 3232 is a great option for camping and still having some nice amenities close by. Clean private bathrooms with showers. Water stations. Cute land to walk around on. The goat was hilarious and added a fun touch. The best view is near the dumpster or up on 3232. Highly recommend this campground. The host is very polite and communicates well.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Communication was great from the beginning and they were super hospitable to us during our stay here. We only got to spend a limited time here since we were there to visit inks lake and enchanted rock during the day. It was just a short drive to both and very convenient. Had so much fun trying to get pictures with the longhorns too. Hopefully we can come back and visit again.

Blue Sage was just what we were looking for our adventure. Really neat trail to get to the camping spot we wanted. Lots of room to play and tucked away from the surrounding area. Directions were quite simple to find even in the dark. I will definitely keep this location on my favorites list and will visit again soon.

Sheri and Johnny were extremely kind and hospitable hosts. We enjoyed the privacy of the campsites that were available (couldn’t see any of the other guests unless you went looking)! Very convenient if you’re looking to visit Hamilton pools which is just five minutes away. Also our favorite point was that it’s in an area with little/less light pollution from the city and so we were able to get really nice stargazing views!

This site was great! A huge plus was that they brought us firewood both nights that we stayed and saved me a lot of chopping time. The fire pit supplied was also very nice. They were very friendly and the donkey they had also seemed to get along great when it met our dogs.

We had a fantastic stay this past weekend in the Apache Tent! The set up inside the tent was roomie and very comfortable. The restroom/shower area were close and clean. They had many welcoming touches through out the site. Hoping I can find a weekend to return with my grandson.

A Texas Hill Country ranch with uncrowded “primitive” campsites about 8 miles from Fredericksburg and about 12 miles from Enchanted Rock. There is no running water, no electricity and no WiFi at the campsite. There is a picnic table, some chairs, a fire ring with some firewood and a portable toilet. This site is suited to tent camping, car camping and small RV "dry camping". There is relative privacy, hopefully starry nights and campfire provisions. Guests share a pasture with livestock and wildlife. Weather in all its variations is part of camping. If you are not prepared to deal with whatever the weather may be, you should consider another option. We encourage guests to research this destination before booking, carefully review our cancellation policy, and consider buying travel insurance to protect against unexpected travel disruptions. Weather conditions are not an acceptable reason for a refund or change of reservation for this campsite. Cellular service is limited here. AT&T provides a good signal in this area. HOWEVER **** SPRINT, VERIZON and T-MOBILE may have “VERY POOR” or “NONEXISTENT” cellular signals at this site. We have neighbors, and although the place is relatively large, and we don't anticipate a problem, there is no guarantee that you will not be bothered by some kind of noise. Likewise, we don’t want our neighbors bothered by any noise coming from you. People live out in the country to enjoy separation of space. Please be considerate of others and keep noise to a minimum. Observe quiet time after 9 pm and before 8 am. The country roads in this area are paved and they are excellent for walking, bicycling and driving. There are “cattle guards” in the roadways. Cattle guards are steel pipe obstacles along a road intended to prevent livestock, such as sheep and cattle from passing out of a fenced area. If you book this property you will be able to check yourself in at the property. The specific location and other check in details will be provided to you on the day of your scheduled arrival, and after housekeeping and campsite make-ready is complete.
